Do you two ever ride different bikes? Some pump track and skatepark riding on dirt jumpers might help round out some uh... gaps in the skill collection. It would be pretty interesting to see you two build your own pump/trails features that evolve with you and are designed specifically to unlock a few things you feel are missing like pumping, popping, nosing into landings, etc. Great stuff as always
Totally captured the TX vibe! Yuka's "I'm just gonna send it" mentality is amazing to watch, and I appreciate that you and I have the same mental approach to doing things. Now if I only had some of your skills... 😂
Was great having Eric and Yuka at the Freeride512 Park at Rocky Hill. We're always continuing the progression build there, and will have more for you to ride next time.
Please, please, PLEASE make a video about a coached jumping session! I love to see you guys progress, and that will boost you to the moon! Keep up the great content, it is a pleasure watching it!
All I can say is that these guys came to Dallas Big Cedar thanks to the new stuff that was built! What's so special is that the features are built with safety and progression in mind. So cool be part of it and I know our group will not look back we will just keep progressing and building more wherever they let us💪🏻
The production quality of your videos is second to absolutely none. I suspect you would find great success if you turned your hand to professional documentary production. Keep up the awesome work!
Love the Texas MTB scene. I've lived in Texas my whole life but I only started riding (give or take) 2 years ago. Everyone I've met has been so nice and helpful and the trails are so progressive!! Good things to come in the very near future, deep in the heart of Texas!
Texas continues to do it big and do it right! Great review of three awesome bike parks, Team! Looks like great places for skill development. Looking forward to your next visit when you ride all the lines with no hesitation, casing or overshooting. Always good for a smile to see/hear VGY employing the "just send it approach" and deal with the consequences after. Another great vid, Eric. Loving the channel(s). Stay awesome. Cheers, Derek
Wow I knew that was Big Cedar, that's awesome to see you guys visited. There's a place in McKinney called Erwin Park that just got a new jump track, it's pretty awesome. Northshore in Flower Mound is a great place.
Happy day! A video from Eric! I love your travel logs and I love seeing you work up to features. It gives me hope! There is great (seriously great) trail riding in my area and a fun natural feature bike park-ish place. What we lack is a park with side-by-side progressions.
I would love to have something similar here. Most of local parks have rather small tabletops and then pretty big jump to gap jumps. Mot really anything in-between.
Awesome trails, what a great find! How did you hear about this place? Love to watch your stories and travels. You're a big inspiration to my videos and places I've also visited.
I saw you guys! I was biking at this track when i was behind you. I couldnt catch up becouse my gearing was damaged becouse of a jump. But i tried as hard as i could! Love your videos its so relaxing to look at!
Your over analyzing is your doom. You're convincing yourself of failure before even arriving. Yuka just sends it and learns by failure...and does it better the next time. Be like Yuka. lol.
Hey Guys im getting a New bike for a friend and I have to choose between 4 bikes.. it All depends in wich fork i better Rockshox reba sl 29 VS Sr suntour raidon 29 raidon VS fox 32 or a bolany 100mm fork??
if you guys ever swing by NC in the future, I would highly recommend Fisher Farms black diamond trails. It has some really smooth trails with bolder features, speedy berms and a flowy road gap. The locals really take great care of their trails. (The only trail i wouldn't recommend is the Twisted Sisters. Its kinda rough.)
Sad I missed you guys! Thanks for coming! It’s all greened up now.. We love our Texas mountain biking. You missed spidy mountain next to RPR. The only lift access in Texas.
I just love your videos! Your reasoning and feelings towards a challenge makes us viewers see the real honest person behind the camera. You're not just showing off and that makes me happy!
If you're looking for jumps in Texas, check out Seguin Skills Park. The builder Chris is a fantastic person and does jump classes in Saturdays. They work entirely off of donations to the children's center that let's him build out there.
Thanks for stopping by Texas. I love to live here for the reasons you covered very well. I’m glad you all had fun! We also have access to our neighbor states like Bentonville AR and Angel Fire in NM. There is no shortage of awesome places to ride around here. Cheers
I don't know why, but I look at those big dirt jumps and I'm not worried at all, but seeing those sketchy, narrow, off-camber and tight radiused wooden features terrifies me.
take those clips off and trade your bike for a hardtail dude...youll progress much more by learning proper jumping techniques and hopefully grow some balls
Now I clearly see why Erik is coming nosy on all of his jumps. I mean kinda controlled nosy. He pops just a bit early: 6:00 And then he also moves towards the handelbar. Just an observation this is 🌹 going to a pumptrack and really learn how to pop with the right riming might help a lot! Cheers and thanks for you fantastic content 🍻
Could you suggest a similar park like this in Canada??? I would like to go to Canada and visit some bike parks but im not very expirienced rider yet, which one would you recommend?
Are you ever gonna come down to Southern California? People have been going crazy with trailbuilding here and theres some really really cool tech and jumplines now!
Oh snap, you all were in our back yard. I lurk and dont comment much but my husband and I are game dev/mountain bikers in the Austin area. I found your channel a while ago and saw you had a similar background, so ya'lls story really resonates with us! You've really inspired us. We follow VanGirlYuka too!
Hi im from germany so my englisch isn‘t Great But Yuca should try to pump in to the Suspension and then do the bunnyhop thing it gonna give her a Little Boots for Jumping Hope you Read it. Bye😊
😂😂in the first slomo of him showing how he pulls up to pop off the lip. You can see the rear tire leaving the dirt before the end of the lip. Worst technique possible. You need to lift the front first and then use pedal presssure and hips to pull up rear. You can practice on flat ground very simply. If both tires leave the ground at the same time that is not helping with jump technique. Front first then rear up
Hey if I could give u a quick tip I noticed when you take off your weight is pretty far forwards when your front wheel leaves the ground so you are bucked forwards and compensate by pushing the bike in front t of you. On bigger jumps that wouldn’t work and you could get bucked. So if you wanted to when your front wheel is taking off you should keep your weight over the center of the back wheel not the center of the bike. Just what I think 🤔
When that music came on I got hit with the bigest nostalgia for the summers of my teenhood riding dirt jumpls I biult with all my friends. Wish i could go back to those days
That looks awesome there would love to get there one day with Bren dog teaching me how to jump all the jumps because I’m no good at all challenge for you been dog teach this 47 year old
I love your videos, I also love to build bike trails, I don't have any friends and I build them by myself. But now we have a war and I can't skate. I translated it into translators, so excuse my english)))

I’m sure it’s hard to pack more than 2 bikes in a van that you live in full time.
@@kevineason2926 idk they have a similar bike storage area to most ppl and I’ve seen ppl cram like 6 bikes in
Totally captured the TX vibe! Yuka's "I'm just gonna send it" mentality is amazing to watch, and I appreciate that you and I have the same mental approach to doing things. Now if I only had some of your skills... 😂
Hehe, you can hone those skills at 3 amazing places near you 😉
Support this guys channel name for f you mtb
@@BCpov you should come to SC and try Biggin Creek Trail!!! I would love to show you around.
Was great having Eric and Yuka at the Freeride512 Park at Rocky Hill. We're always continuing the progression build there, and will have more for you to ride next time.
"there's a gap so I have to go farther"... flawless logic tbh
Showing some Texas jump love. RPR and Big Cedar are some of the best we have around. Good stuff!
Please, please, PLEASE make a video about a coached jumping session! I love to see you guys progress, and that will boost you to the moon! Keep up the great content, it is a pleasure watching it!

Next time you come through TX stop at Erwin Park in DFW. We built a new skills park there that just opened April 23rd 2022.
The production quality of your videos is second to absolutely none. I suspect you would find great success if you turned your hand to professional documentary production. Keep up the awesome work!
I love step ups. There is so much room to fail without risking big injuries. Step downs on the other hand are my personal nightmare.
Your vids are just on a other level man🤯🤩 keep it up💪🏼💪🏼

This channel is so good. The effort in every video and the quality is next level. Keep it up Eric!!!
Thanks Sam! Trying my best!
You two are the best. Honest mountain biking adventures. You always capture the spirit of what makes this sport so fun

These parks in Texas would be great for someone like me who is just getting comfortable with small jumps
One note, Rocky Hill Ranch is actually the Freeride 512 side.
Happy day! A video from Eric! I love your travel logs and I love seeing you work up to features. It gives me hope!
There is great (seriously great) trail riding in my area and a fun natural feature bike park-ish place. What we lack is a park with side-by-side progressions.

Nice everstoke shirt 😁👍🏼

You should wear more protection, full face, armor with front/back/shoulder, etc.. that should give you some extra confidence :)
Great video. Cool vibe that differs from your usual. Love your narration work. Great voice for this stuff.
redbull yuka SHEESH

I have ridden in Texasx, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and kansas. and by far my favorite trail system is big cedar!
Are you ever gonna come down to Southern California? People have been going crazy with trailbuilding here and theres some really really cool tech and jumplines now!

Game dev/mountain bikers? Sounds like the dream! 🤟

Awesome video… I enjoy the way you tell the “story” about your ride. 💪🏽
@BCpov next time out come out to the Dallas area make sure you stop by Erwin Park to check out the new Skills Area!
Amazing wife! Nice hobby you couple are doing!
What the crap on a stick. Some crazy things! Cool, but insane too. I guess this all works for big progression though!
wow mega 🤩, congratulations on your progress, i am just starting out with mtb and would love to ride this park 👍👍🤙🤙
After watching some of ur videos, what are some beginner bike trails/parks with trails?
Looks great! I'm still surprised how timid I am after a bone-breaking crash!
The son ofEric and Yuka, will be the perfect rider, Eric's technic with Yuka's fearless instinct.
Any plans to hit up the other fr512 park? It’s definitely more bc vibes imo

you guys need to learn to control your bike in the air weather than hit bigger jumps, such as scrubbing, whipping, and tables. trust me it helps.
Hey if I could give u a quick tip I noticed when you take off your weight is pretty far forwards when your front wheel leaves the ground so you are bucked forwards and compensate by pushing the bike in front t of you. This is the issue I'm having a hard time curving. Damn subconscious lol
When that music came on I got hit with the bigest nostalgia for the summers of my teenhood riding dirt jumpls I biult with all my friends. Wish i could go back to those days
I built the ski jump at BC back in 2010😎
That looks awesome there would love to get there one day with Bren dog teaching me how to jump all the jumps because I’m no good at all challenge for you been dog teach this 47 year old
I hope you gonna race again :-) love your race videos. Rewatching some from time to time
Yuka really needs to learn some bike control it’s getting ridiculous. She is sketchy on every feature
You guys should go ride Durango. It’s in Colorado and it’s fantastic
Awesome guys. Jumping not my specialty.
because you ride without any sense of ...... carfull now :D
Please get hardtails and spend some time on dirt jumps, your jumping will come along in no time!
Hey eric dont you think a new bike day is near?whaf about trying a downhill bike next?
yuka overshooting because she is pushing through the take off so just going long and low instead of up and down, get da pop
It only sucks in the summer when it’s hot as frick
Thanks for coming to cedar. It was fun to ride with you!
Yuka is like: "What could go wrong if i have cool bike?"
How much suspension you got front and back?
U guys should check out Houston! The riding scene is bigger than you think
It’s the “Oh i cased it, honey!” U guys r my favorite
I’m going to my first moutain biking camp this summer at Camp Fortune gimme tips so I don’t die
Yuka is just too good for you eric, only the really big jumps are hard for her
Why cant germany be like Texas?
Sometimes i got the feeling that for a lot of guys mountainbiking is about jumping :x
Excellent video. Beautiful riding facilities.
Wait this guy at 12:00 is missing an arm but not giving a shit and riding huge ass rocks with a prosthesis?
Mad respect!
Have you ever riden in Australia also what bikes do you guys ride
Thanks for the videos! You need to come down again!!
Hey! You’re on my home turf! Where are y’all heading?
I wish I could go there but I’m in Australia

I built the original iteration of the BC step-up also😁
Yuka x Fluid ride Collab at duthie??????
I tried a step up yesterday for the first time and broke my shoulder
Going too fast is better than coming up short just gotta learn to squash
Very well put together video. Nice work.
I love your videos, I also love to build bike trails, I don't have any friends and I build them by myself. But now we have a war and I can't skate. I translated it into translators, so excuse my english)))
You need to checkout spider mountain in Texas
Yuka is a trooper, much braver than me lol.
no way you visited big cedar
omg dude i go there all the time that is coool
Did you make it to Spider Mountain? Great co tent!
This inspired me... To quit dangerous mtbiking n start a new hobby.... As a tights flashing roadie! Hehehe😂

Thanks for the inspiration to explore texas!
You guys were in my backyard, hope Texas treated you well. Next time in Texas, give Spider Mountain in Burnet a shot!
