My Time at Sandrock-Just like My Time at Portia, My Time at Sandrock takes place in a wholesome post-apocalyptic world 300 years after the Day of Calamity destroyed most modern technologies.
After accepting a job offer to become Sandrock’s newest Builder, you’ll arrive in the wild and rugged city-state, where it’s up to you and your trusty tools to restore the community to its former glory. Gather resources to build machines, befriend locals, and defend Sandrock from monsters - all while saving the town from economic ruin!

My Time at Portia was awesome, had a really good Time with it. I even got the Plat Trophy for Ps4. Will instabuy Sandrock when it comes out :)

great vid thank you. would you recommend it for housing then? is there plenty of furniture to craft?
There's a good amount of furniture. All primarily good for stats over decoration as you will rarely just sit around in the house

what about the complaints about daily stamina? People seemed like they were kinda frustrated with what little stuff they could do in a single day. Will probably be purchasing the game but would like to hear your thoughts on it.
Hey! Yea it’s definitely rough at the start. It takes time but after leveling up and getting access to good food stamina becomes much more manageable

Yeah I think it's meant to be an annoyance so that you feel really good about getting access to better and better food and better and better tools. Also at default game speed it's less of an issue other than for harvesting monster parts. That still tanks stamina fast, but it actually tanks stamina so fast that you have time to go to the saloon and order the special which you can do over and over. I feel like they might change that eventually because it's silly and super powerful. Better weapons than the first ones I'm sure makes stamina much less of an issue for harvesting monster parts too and you can actually commission the local police to hunt monsters for you and deliver you the parts if you want.
I LOVE this game! It's all I've been playing lately (with a few minutes of Genshin thrown in 😁). Can't wait for the full release so I can get it on Switch too!

I have been SO addicted to Portia! I bought it not knowing how deep i'd fall haha!!! So excited that I just bought a steam key for sandrock from Fanatical- I can't wait to jump in!!!
Literally the only thing I wish is that the voices for the southern characters didn't sound like old southern gentlemen! I've lived in the South all my life and it throws me off when I look at Remington or Logan and think "Ah, I think I'll marry you!!" and then they speak and I'm like "what in the Andy Griffith is going on here???"
It's not just me ya'll!! I let my mom hear the voices and she was like "Oh!! That's interesting!!" Hahaaaa good interesting or bad interesting mama?
i hope when they do multiplayer... it makes the game a little more hard. because i can do everything on my own already and its easy. hope they add big bosses to fight or something.

I kind of want to try the game as a fan of Portia, but what keeps me hesitating is that the world looks sad without any trees or nature, which I don't really like.
I can see that. As the game goes it does get more lively. But up to you :D

i find the character design to be very strange and weird, they all have a super strange head it's terrifying it was already doing this with My time at portia, which i played very little of because of the same problem.

This game is not gonna run on the switch if there are GTX 3080 issues. And here i though it would run on my laptop!

I liked the PC version of Portia but the devs really screwed over owners of the Switch version. Probably the buggiest/most poorly optimized Switch game i've ever played and they put zero effort into fixing it. It was a total cash grab. So i'll be skipping supporting this one out of principle.
I understand. Too bad about the Switch version. A lot of games tend to just straight run bad on there port or not
It is pretty well known that the porting company dropped the ball on Portia. I don't understand why they still don't fix their bugs though. I'll pass unless Switch port gets rave reviews.
