I have learned so much from you about lighting. It's really helped me become better than I was 2-3 years ago when I first started and even a month ago.
man i cant say this enough...I know i have commented it in some of your other videos, but this channel is truly amazing. A goldmine of information for the enthusiast. I am learning a lot from you dude. Thank you.
Another helpful thing as far as joints go, you can use the adobe photoshop fix that you always say is great, you can just blure the joints so it looks natural and doesnt have pegs
Awesome video! Thanks been waiting for this one since you had mentioned it during one of the live streams when I asked about lighting. Also completely jealous of the Gunship in the back ground!
I like to wear tactical pants or military pants when I go hit the trails because I can take some figures and put them in the many pocket options. Always great photo opportunity out on nature trails with your action figures
Once of those car front window sun reflectors blew into my yard on a windy day. Made out of the same silvery stuff that light reflector is made out of. A free light reflector cool.
I was able to find some cool cheap lights that are really good for indoor shots. I got this 2-pack of color changing disc lights from 5 below for like $5 and a light bar (it needs to actually be plugged in) for $10 from menards that also is able to change color. the disc lights are kinda small and work really well for lighting figures from below, like putting it at their feet (great for horror figures).
just commenting to say this is super helpful for my littlest pet shop toy photography! (adding a bit of female representation for all us geeks here, lol :) ).
@@sirdork730 Thanks for all you do! I just got the nikon d3500 and trying to up my game. We're out here being nerdy too in our own little corners of the internet lol
I wish i knew the time but i got an amazing picture with no lights, no water, no nothin. Just a phone, a figure, and the sun. The sun is the most simple, yet greatest light ever

Love the video! I was planning on buying a lume cube mini but I have a question. Can you change the colors of it just like the pro or does it only stay at one color?
Fantastic video mate! I have a quick question, you said you got the samurai ashigaru stormtrooper for your birthday but do you know the price is should be because if I buy it I want to get the right one!
Thanks dude! Great question! These guys are usually $80+ so if you see one at a price lower than that, it’s a high possibility it’s a knockoff. Make sure to double check where it’s coming from! (Honk Kong usually means knock off). Good luck!
Do you (or anyone here in the comment section) may recommend a budget version for these lume cubes? They go like 80 € per cube and when you go with the general rule of 3 light sources... It can get expensive very quickly 😅
Thanks for watching guys!! Comment any questions you have below!!

So glad to hear that dude! Hope it helps!
Another superb video Jared 🙏
Great tips from the toy photography expert himself! Loving the shirt by the way!
Thanks so much!! I love this shirt! 😁
Also if you don't have alot of money or are just cheap, you can wrap foil around cardboard from boxes to make sun reflector..
Yes! Great tip!

What's the difference between the lume cube 2.0 or a led lantern?
what type of tripod is that for a dslr?
I have the tripod I’m using linked here!

In this video I’m using a Sony A7III with a 40mm lens. I have all the gear linked in the description!
