No, they dont use their jet for transport of gear. they only transport themselves/family/personal luggage in case of gear keep in mind, that they always bring their own stages to shows. they have around 10trucks full of gear per show.their Gear is split into an A rig and a B rig. both rigs being identical. Usually their equipment is send by cargo ships for longer distances and trucks for shorter overland passages. this way the band gains more flexibility in gigging (where they make the most money besides merch nowadays). you can do one show per week in europe with one rig or two shows per week with both of them on the same continent (good example here: Rock am Ring in Germany and Rock im Park. They play in Bavarias Rock im Park on Friday and the next day at Rock am Ring in another part of Germany. They also can split between continents. playing shows in America and being able to play in Australia the next weekend or between Europe and Murica...

They play fewer shows, but bigger ones, their working schedule leaves them with more time for themselves (while touring and in the studio), their workflow has been adapted to the family lives of them. They use "headquarters" in europe, asia and australia where their families can stay while they play a show and they return there (Paris in case of europe) after it.
