Bought a 2022 TRD Off Road just before Christmas. Love it. Comfortable everyday driver and fantastic in the snow. It is a bit sluggish but fine. Just punch it a bit harder to get up to highway speeds. Once there it runs just fine. It’s a great truck.
Yes, I noticed the seating position as well. Knew it was one of the quirks before purchasing my 2020 TRD sport 4X4. Someone said it best. The seating position is not like a car and not like a truck. Thank goodness my 2020 came with the new for 2020 power adjustable seat to make it workable.
I chose the offroad over the pro due to the 6' bed not being available on the pro. fully loaded with EVERYTHING, the offroad still came in cheaper than the pro by about $4k. also, the desert air intake went away in 2019.
Brother thank you for explaining the bumpy part on the road, I got one just like this one and was super concerned about the bumpy ness I’m glad to know that’s it’s normal.
Did you order it exactly as you wanted? Wondering if the dealer tried to discourage so they could sell one they had on the lot. TY How did things work out??
@@Tom-ej8bb So I'm in Canada and we don't receive the same package options as you guys in the US do. The dealer I have talked to has been not too bad, he hasn't tried to upsell me more than any other salesman would. I'm still waiting for it to arrive at the dealership, most if not all dealerships around my area don't have any at all at the moment. But when it does come in (end of April) I'll take it for a test spin and if I like it and am happy then I'll get it. If it doesn't have some options that I want, then from there Im sure I'll be able to negotiate for another one with the things I want, I'll just have to wait a bit longer tho. This is my first time buying a new vehicle so everything is new to me lol
2 minutes in to video. The tacoma is not part time AWD. It is a selectable 4WD. 4WD and AWD are not nearly the same. If you are reviewing cars, please know the distinction between the two systems so that you are not providing incorrect information to consumers.
@Rigged Election Yes. Part time FOUR wheel drive. My point was that he said part time ALL wheel drive. Which is completely different. But I assume based on your explanation of four wheel drive, you probably already know that.
@@steve8803 Big thing to "misspeak" on. As I said earlier, they are completely different drive systems. Might not be a big deal to you, but it is. I'm sorry if I offended you. Thank you for your review of my job performance. I'll try to do better.

were stuck between choosing the off road or the sport?
Great Review
I’ve had mine now for 2.5 months.. no complaints except that they are everywhere…

Its 4x4 not AWD there is a big difference. Also pro and TRD Off have the exact same tires only difference is the trd wheels on the pro.
I think he's talking about the standard road setting. When you don't have it locked in 4 wheel it's set on AWD. That's what I'm gathering.
@@Keychainproduction The Off Road comes with the exact same Kevlar tires in the exact same size as the Pro

Love my 2021 army green Taco.
I didnt know TRD off road suspension is higher than the normal SR5.. 🤔
Excellent point! I didn't either!!
Stiffer springs! It sits higher. I'm on my 3rd TRD OR and it does sit higher that a normal SR5.
I'm pretty sure they are not doing the snorkel anymore
Is this better than the Ford Raptor?
Depends on what you want but I would say yes
Yes
Wel I bought one for my dad yesterday for a surprise gift for $44k
I’m only 19 but I’m seriously considering getting a 2015-2018, with a 36 month loan
All wheel drive????
Where are my fellow MANual Taco drivers? 👍
Wishing the off-road had a manual
Too much talk. Not much of substance.
This guy has low test
low test?
Really,... you're wearing all black and then pink shoes are you really trying to be professional here or funny?
