Why do companies think that luminous equal glitter. I dont get it, but loved the matte primer and how it made ur skin look Jas.

I really dislike when they put glitter in primers and facial sprays. I remember I got a luminous setting spray from Cover FX in a boxycharm and OMG! It was the worst setting spray ever, if you sprayed too much or didn't shake the bottle well enough it looked like a unicorn took a shit on my face. 😂

Jaz Up my style did a side by side comparison and it seemed pretty nice

Honestly I like the hydrating version lot more because they improved the shades. If you’re yellow toned like me, you’ll really appreciate it. Formula-wise it’s less drying (which is good if you have dry under-eyes), but when I did a side-by-side comparison there’s really no difference in coverage and wear. I also like it cause it doesn’t dry as fast as the OG concealer, which gives me more time to blend lol

Don’t know if it’s just me but the luminous sides looks really good, subtly dewy and lifted. But the matte side looks soft and as if can hold up, both look good lol

Ikr! Like I was wondering why she uses complexion products at all as her skin is so gorgeous. But I get that if she wants a glam look on her eyes, lips and to use contour/ highlight and blush then using a base makes sense.

When she said the thing about using more of the putty primer and it working better for her skin I couldn’t agree more. I find that when I use the original putty primer it does a better job when I use more. If I don’t use enough I don’t feel like it performs nearly as well. 💕
I agree 100 %. When I see people use a pea size for their whole t zone, or face I just don't get it. I use quite a bit, I love that it not only fills my pores, but my fine lines as well.

I absolutely love the matte side and how it made your skin and makeup look. The matte one this one. The luminous side you can see a lot of that glitter which isn’t a bad thing due to some people like that. I prefer the original and and now I have to try out the matte. Love your videos jas and your honest opinion on makeup products ❤️
I love the poreless elf primer myself. The luminous one on u makes what looks like wet strexes on ur face and the matte sort of looks better than the luminous but a tad dry on the cheeks. I've seen u in the original and it truly looks best on you hands down. I live for ur updates each week.

JUST PURCHASED the Matte One!! So excited for it! I actually found mine at Target, they were placing them on the end caps. So i am super thrilled they came out with a few more :)
The matte side looks more airbrushed, and the luminous really does look glowy.

Lip color on point, love the natural look. The matte primer is a must for you, definitely not the luminous, it appears oily. I just bought a set of 3 primer pots from elf, the original, the luminous, and the matte, it was a set of 3 from Walmart, earlier tonight. I should have just grabbed the matte one.

I’m really glad you reviewed these two primers! The Dewy primer is what I’ll try for my dry skin. The original one works fine but doing a comparison won’t hurt.

I bought the tiny size 3 pack of the putty primers I put the luminous on first, Good God the ✨glitter✨!! I like the matte and regular formulas best. I may use the luminous on my eyelids for a shiny glow.

Kaja blur primer!! I’ll wear it without foundation too. It’s got that healthy dewy look and feel like you wouldn’t believe
I really enjoy the loreal true match lumi glotion .comes in 4 shades i think...its not marketed as a primer but i use it all over sometimes i mix into foundation.it feels like im puting on any other moisturizer.claims to hydrate and luminize.
Nyx Hyrdatouch oil primer!! It's amazing for hydrating your skin and definitely makes your foundation more dewy

I feel like I could for sure see a line where you put the luminous and matte primer at the end of the day. The luminous side was SO much more oily on your forehead compared to the matte side!

I am the same way with the tatcha silk canvas I know your supposed to only used alil bit but I probably use triple what they say. I’m going to have to check out the matte putty primer. It looks really really good. It kind of reminds me of hourglass mineral veil!!
