I have oily skin sometimes combo, and I have been using the tatcha primer since mid last year. I bought the E.l.f primer a cpl weeks ago and I really really do love it! I think it's just as good as the tatcha. Especially for the price. 💙💙💙💙
@@neeneebrat I use it with all of my foundations fur example, Maybelline superstay, Make Revolution conceal& define foundation, Jouer essential high coverage, Revlon colorstay, Catrice Hd foundation, Mac Studio fix, and Beauty Blender foundation. I honestly try to only put a little bit and sometimes if I put too much or if I have a lot of moisturizer underneath that like a can pill up a little bit that's why the less you use the better like mostly in the T-Zone. I really hope that helps you but I really have found the elf one to be the closest thing to Tatcha I really like it

honestly the elf primer is one of my holy grails now it keeps my makeup looking so flawless and i usually get oily around my nose and it made a huge difference when i used it. definitely recommend it
For those who want a more mattifying effect with the elf, you could apply a very light layer of powder over it and then your liquid foundation

I held off buying the Tacha primer because of the price but then I caved and bought it like a month ago. I really like it! I have normal to dry except on my T-zone which is oily. So I just don't put the Tacha primer there and it defiantly helps keep everything in place all day long. Love this video!💖

I am always looking for a good primer. I am 58 and have visible pores. After watching your video, I decided to try one or both of them. Here is the interesting thing. The Tatcha primer is 0.7 oz/ 20 g. The ELF primer is 0.74 oz/21 g. The Tatcha primer might look bigger but you get more product with ELF. That makes the ELF primer a better buy.

The eyelash on the left (her right) is much longer, and doesn’t go all the way to the edge of her eye, unlike the other lash it goes all the way out. Pause at 4:40

I’ve been testing them both out and in my opinion I like the Tatcha much more. I feel the tatcha one blurs better & sinks in my dry skin better. After a week of using the Elf one I developed bumps on my face and I feel it sat on top of my skin. Everyone’s skin is different, apparently mine likes the expensive one 😩😩😩

Ulta finally had this in stock and I got my hands on the Elf Poreless Putty Primer. Thank you for the close up and showing me how to apply the primer to get the most out of it. I prefer a dewy look with full coverage. My goal this summer is to find a strong full coverage foundation but look dewy instead of matte. I wear enough during the winter. I cannot tell any difference with the primers. $52 is a lot for a primer. I hope the Elf primer works for me like it did for you.
