I just realized in the Federalist and Syndicalist videos, they say "not long ago" while our Unionist says "a long time ago". It really sums up how different Sawyer is as a character as opposed to his Federalist and Syndicalist counterparts: he doesn't fight happily. He recognizes the other person as not as a capitalist pig, but as another human being. Yet he fights because it is a necessity. The small details really tell you something.

Angry for living in shitty homes, payed few dollars and working in a dangerous factory/mine, while the capitalist live a luxurious life on their back. But they would fight also for a better world, a world where nobody would be discriminated for their sex, color of the skin or economic status. Where workplace would be ruled by the workers, and all those wealth produced by thise would be collected for them. Yeah, there wouldn't be millionaires (maybe some famous painter or book writer, but really less than today usa) but there wouldn't be ghettos full of poverty and criminals, everybody would have access to good pubblic schools and also to a good pubblic healthcare. Also a unionist would fight for a better world, a world where the american dream would come true. I don't know well Huey Long though, but i think it would be something like usa + some social welfare. I think it would be a good america, but some problems, like racial segregation, gender discrimination and economic discrimination would be present, or maybe bigger than in today USA. For my point of view, the federalist are the worst. They fight for a old order, an order which is proven to be ineffective to bring wellbeing to all americans, but only for few. They rally around a tyran and warlord which wouldn't probably bring pre-ACW democracy back.

I personally support the Feds and can sympathize to the AUS on a few levels absolutely despise the CSA and would fight for the opportunity of Freedom and choice in my nation. The CSA fight for something shown to be ineffective and AUS wants to rebuild the America. The feds are forced into their position because of the rebels who need to be put down.

For me it's unlikely somebody would even accept them taking over as a majority of longists were in it for long, not for the silver league.
The AUS I feel is the most sympathetic. For all of their faults, they realize that the other Americans aren't bad people, or even people with bad views, they're just different in how they fix the system. That's why I always play reconstruction Long. Fix what's bad, but allow the rest to come back to the fold. We're all Americans, aren't we?

AUS is close to fascism but they're not really a revived Confederacy. Huey Long is documented to be a believer in racial equality. At least when it came to African Americans and White Americans.

My favorite part in the video was when he said "you see son, just cuz we fighting them, don't mean their bad people." This is so true, even today it is true that just because we are fighting them, that does not make them bad people, I just wishes more people could realise that and stop hating each other.

This is my favorite one yet I love how he acknowledges that the men fighting on the other side are not necessarily evil and that he doesn't have all the answers but he knows what he is seeing is wrong. Traditionally I have played with MacArthur's forces but this is an encouragement to do an AUS run through. Excellent Art, Writing, and Music. My hat is off to you.
The man talking is the only amongst the three characters in these vids speaking from the heart and not due to lofty ideas removed from reality . Not some vain chick on her period, not some hotblooded youngster loyal to a history he hasn't experienced.Just a father adhering to the teachings of his father and passing down his own . He is also the only one that goes to fight with a heavy heart ,refraining from completely dehumanizing the enemy soldiers . AUS is the only choice indeed .
I love all of these. Each faction has such a badass way of viewing the war and the other factions, I love each of the leaders, and the artwork is amazing.
Other than the drop in quality towards the end, I loved it. I’ve seen some comments saying negative about how the voice is too stereotypical, or the story goes on too long, but I enjoyed it. It adds depth, because this isn’t some speech, this is meant to be a letter to his son, perhaps the only thing his son will have of him in a word where perhaps he is ruled by Syndicalists, or another faction. It gives a realistic feel to it and I loved the ending, and the tying of the story to the situation. Perfection
Honest to fucking god, nothing makes me jump around a political compass than Kaiserreich 'Where you are a CITIZEN under the CONSTITUTION' 'Down with the Kaiser, BREAK THE CHAINS!' 'Down with the traitors, up with the stars!' The buildup to those killing one-liners is just p e r f e c t.
The Second ACW Series of World of Kaiserreich is some of the most well-thought out story writing I have seen, even though they're short the characters are deeply engaging and have genuinely legitimate reasons to fight. Guys @Kaiser Cat Cinema, you've created a lore here that could easily become one of the best TV series out there, I could definitely see this as a Man In The High Castle-style series. You've even already got the beginnings of interesting characters (The various characters representing the US factions, the Loyalist Commando, even Smiling Jack Malone as the humourous foil). You've even got the main plot points, the Second ACW and the war to Retake Britain, to boot. Anyways I know it probably won't happen, but you guys did an amazing job taking a simple conversion mod, and making a wholly engaging alt-history universe that FINALLY broke the obsession with the whole "What if the NAZIS won? DUN DUN DUNNN". Keep up the great work guys, and speaking as a Canadian: GOD SAVE THE KING! One other thing, I looked up the music source you listed but I was hoping to find that melancholy piano piece that played before the AUS theme, any chance you could point me in the right direction?

What I saw was not nice because those weren't nice times either. The economic crisis that weakened our country allowed the formation of all kinds of radical and authoritarian groups. One time I reported about a bombing where 13 people died in the explotion of a bank. People with families that cried over the lost of their love ones and got their livehoods destroyed. The responsibles? A terrorist group tied to the Syndicialists, that in the name of equality, want to subdue the liberty of the country to impose an autoritharian dictatorship like the ones in Britain and France. Then, there was the lynching of a young black man accused of having ties to the Combined Syndicates. It was beaten to death and hanged from a tree like a criminal. Who were these time? Members of the Minute Men of Huey Long that with the excuse of defending the nation from Wall Street and Syndicalism they terrorize people based on their race, religion or political beliefs. Then the day where all exploded happened. I was reporting for a California's newspaper in DC when I heard the announcement of McCarthur. In the name of democracy, he disolved the Congress and gave himself extraordinary powers to rule the Nation. The members of the Congress that couldn't stand with McCarthur's violation of our democracy, flee to the California and formed a new goverment to protect the Constitution. And then, the spark detonates and the radical factions started to take the opportunity to seize power. McCarthur, Reed, Long. There all one and the same. All take away the freedom of the people with the excuse of a greater good. All of them are supported by foreign nations that want to see America in ruins to reshape it to their own image. Olson, might not be a Messiah or have the ability to save America from tearing itself apart, but he is an honest man that wants to defend democracy from the thugs that wan't to destroy it We don't have a ambitous goal like liberating the world or make America great again. Hell, we don't know if we can save America in his broken state. But we'll defend ourselves of anyone that wants to take away our freedom, the principles in which this country was founded. I'm not an ambitious or violent man but I cannot stand seeing these vultures taking advantage of the suffering of the American to acommplish their own desires. The Syndicalists, the Federalists, the American Union State. They think that they can crush the will of the people for their megalomaniac aims. But the people of the Pacific won't fold to the demands of totalitarism. @@KidIsildur I get where you are coming from but no matter who is in charge of the CSA they either exile or execute those who don't agree with them so i have to ask if you think that is really breaking the chains or taking your chains off and putting them on someone else. This is my favorite one yet I love how he acknowledges that the men fighting on the other side are not necessarily evil and that he doesn't have all the answers but he knows what he is seeing is wrong. Traditionally I have played with MacArthur's forces but this is an encouragement to do an AUS run through. Excellent Art, Writing, and Music. My hat is off to you.

I love all of these. Each faction has such a badass way of viewing the war and the other factions, I love each of the leaders, and the artwork is amazing.
I would gladly support an independent game created by you guys based on this timeline
Other than the drop in quality towards the end, I loved it. I’ve seen some comments saying negative about how the voice is too stereotypical, or the story goes on too long, but I enjoyed it. It adds depth, because this isn’t some speech, this is meant to be a letter to his son, perhaps the only thing his son will have of him in a word where perhaps he is ruled by Syndicalists, or another faction. It gives a realistic feel to it and I loved the ending, and the tying of the story to the situation. Perfection
This is coming closer and closer to home by the day.

This man should be a character in a Kaiserreich TV show.
The Second ACW Series of World of Kaiserreich is some of the most well-thought out story writing I have seen, even though they're short the characters are deeply engaging and have genuinely legitimate reasons to fight. Guys @Kaiser Cat Cinema, you've created a lore here that could easily become one of the best TV series out there, I could definitely see this as a Man In The High Castle-style series. You've even already got the beginnings of interesting characters (The various characters representing the US factions, the Loyalist Commando, even Smiling Jack Malone as the humourous foil). You've even got the main plot points, the Second ACW and the war to Retake Britain, to boot.
Anyways I know it probably won't happen, but you guys did an amazing job taking a simple conversion mod, and making a wholly engaging alt-history universe that FINALLY broke the obsession with the whole "What if the NAZIS won? DUN DUN DUNNN". Keep up the great work guys, and speaking as a Canadian: GOD SAVE THE KING!

I hope there is gonna be a part 4 with the Pacific States. I personally imagine something like this:
"I never was a man of big ambitions. A good meal, a warm bed, maybe a nice book were enough for me to have a happy life. I'm from a realtively wealthy family, but I decided that I needed to make a contribution to society some how so I became a journalist to inform people of what the things that were hidden from them. What I saw was not nice because those weren't nice times either. The economic crisis that weakened our country allowed the formation of all kinds of radical and authoritarian groups. One time I reported about a bombing where 13 people died in the explotion of a bank. People with families that cried over the lost of their love ones and got their livehoods destroyed. The responsibles? A terrorist group tied to the Syndicialists, that in the name of equality, want to subdue the liberty of the country to impose an autoritharian dictatorship like the ones in Britain and France. Then, there was the lynching of a young black man accused of having ties to the Combined Syndicates. It was beaten to death and hanged from a tree like a criminal. Who were these time? Members of the Minute Men of Huey Long that with the excuse of defending the nation from Wall Street and Syndicalism they terrorize people based on their race, religion or political beliefs. Then the day where all exploded happened. I was reporting for a California's newspaper in DC when I heard the announcement of McCarthur. In the name of democracy, he disolved the Congress and gave himself extraordinary powers to rule the Nation. The members of the Congress that couldn't stand with McCarthur's violation of our democracy, flee to the California and formed a new goverment to protect the Constitution. And then, the spark detonates and the radical factions started to take the opportunity to seize power. McCarthur, Reed, Long. There all one and the same. All take away the freedom of the people with the excuse of a greater good. All of them are supported by foreign nations that want to see America in ruins to reshape it to their own image. Olson, might not be a Messiah or have the ability to save America from tearing itself apart, but he is an honest man that wants to defend democracy from the thugs that wan't to destroy it We don't have a ambitous goal like liberating the world or make America great again. Hell, we don't know if we can save America in his broken state. But we'll defend ourselves of anyone that wants to take away our freedom, the principles in which this country was founded. I'm not an ambitious or violent man but I cannot stand seeing these vultures taking advantage of the suffering of the American to acommplish their own desires. The Syndicalists, the Federalists, the American Union State. They think that they can crush the will of the people for their megalomaniac aims. But the people of the Pacific won't fold to the demands of totalitarism. They can call us "reactionaries", "traitors", "useful idiots", but we'll defend the legacy of the Founding Fathers to the very end. I'm not very good at handling at weapons but I will fight against totalitarism untill my last breath if it's necesary. And if we have to separate from the other States forever, then it shall be: nations are temporary, but ideals live forever. Long live to the Pacific States of America"

I honestely wonder if they should have asked HOI IV writers to write a better plot of the movie, the plot of "Civil War" was basically "President is Bad, Journalist is good, anyone has a free-for-all" .....what kind of lazy-ass writer they got? Even the Tv-movie of the "Second American Civil War" of 1997 is way better than that
The whole civil war seems kinda tragic, especially when you play the USA video next to this one. People are fighting for their ideals and basically everyone wants the same thing: to do what's best for their country and it's people
