gpu power is good but what is the over all system/laptop draw from the wall socket when gaming please Hubwood. Yes looking forward to AMD next Gpu review.👍👍
In some games the gpu utilization is not at 100% which means a bottleneck probably the 12 cpu cores are draining the energy from the gpu. I have seen benchmarks for the 880m have similar performance to the 890m because it only has 8 cpu cores which means the gpu has more energy to work with.
Btw for the minecraft java benchmark you should use a optimization modpack like simply optimized. I use it on my mini pc with a 6900hx and 680m graphics, and with 20 chunks + high settings I get around 230 fps at 1440p with it.
@@Hubwood Do you think it is a worthy investment to buy a mini pc with this GPU? I have a 3080 and I think of using it as an external card, but not very sure.
I bought the 680m in the form of a ryzen 7 7735hs a year and a half ago and was astonished with how powerful built in graphics were getting then, and in such a short time it’s already gotten so much better, tech is evolving extremely fast now, alarmingly you could say even
@@Hubwood nice, 20w results are looking good but at 30w the difference is not that big. If it's going to be in a new generation of handhelds the selling point will be efficiency

Neither did any of the x elites released in india. Thats why Im planning not to wait and settle with the ultra 7 which is good enough for 99% ppl.

Bro, please include fps of these games at high settings too, i would definitely like to see what happens when we play single player games like assassin's creed, cyberpunk etc on high settings on these apu.
Yeah I'd love to test all these games in all of their settings :D But it almost takes me a week to make a video like this already :) Downloading and installing the games (I can't use external drives for all of them, many have to be freshly installed for every system) getting them to run as intended, fix issues if issues appear, find settings that make sense, benchmarking them, then recording 10-15 minutes of gameplay, after recording them I write the 5 pages of script for the video, then I record myself reading the script, then I edit the final video with choosing scenes, adding FPS and 1% lows, upload it and adjust the UA-cam Details, Keywords, Time Stamps etc. For a Video like that this already takes about 40 (forty!) hours. As I'm doing that BESIDEs having a full time job and family... I just can't do it for every setting. I hope you understand :/
Force the game to use just the first 8 threads Latency between the CCD with Zen 5 and the CCD with Zen 5c is huge destroying the 1% lows And Windows love to spread the load between all cores making it worse By doing this you force the load in one CCD (the good one) and it don't need to wait for the other CCD
I actually did this (Not for this video, but beforehand). It seemed as this would only be the case for when I was using it at 17W or Lower. For 45W and above there was no difference in AVG or 1% Low FPS.
It doesnt have to. I was just using the highest possible TDP. Can also be run with for example 10, 16, 20, 30, 45W etc. With great performance at lower wattages.
with pc you cant keep waiting for another release, buy what best atm you decide to buy, for now 8700g is the best buy that and upgrade next/2 yrs to 990m vega

im interesting know equal 890m gpu perfomance to?
GTX 1650 Desktop and Mobile
All the games should be run in 1080p and upscaled to 4k these days.
Brother please may you do a 720p ultra video
Any release driver update from AMD?
How does it compare to the 780m in a 7940hs?
ua-cam.com/video/v5eJvR-l01k/v-deo.html
gpu power is good but what is the over all system/laptop draw from the wall socket when gaming please Hubwood. Yes looking forward to AMD next Gpu review.👍👍
Will add that in the review
In some games the gpu utilization is not at 100% which means a bottleneck probably the 12 cpu cores are draining the energy from the gpu. I have seen benchmarks for the 880m have similar performance to the 890m because it only has 8 cpu cores which means the gpu has more energy to work with.
That happens on lower wattages. Not so much on highest TDP. You can also work around that using process lasso.
Btw for the minecraft java benchmark you should use a optimization modpack like simply optimized. I use it on my mini pc with a 6900hx and 680m graphics, and with 20 chunks + high settings I get around 230 fps at 1440p with it.
Thx for the tip. Takes long to install?
@@Hubwood No, It is easy to install👍
i wonder what kind of fps you could achieve with installing windows 11 ltsc or g lite
Can you try 16GB vs 32GB on some games and also mhz differences?
Don't think these are available with 16GB. Also the tam was soldered on that laptop... So no. I can't 😅😭
@@Hubwood Do you think it is a worthy investment to buy a mini pc with this GPU? I have a 3080 and I think of using it as an external card, but not very sure.
Please test EAFC 25 in your next video. Thanks.
Noted...
iGPUs getting close to legendary GTX 1070 performance
whats the pricing for the laptop? is it the same as last year or more expensive?
1479€ and probably around 1300$. Lots of configurations available...
How are you getting these performances? I bought vivobook s16 with 32gb and have nowhere near this.
The new one with the Ryzen ai 9 HX 370?
@@Hubwood yeah, that one. Only with 32gbs and 16 inch display.
@@doda01 honestly didn't do anything special... Make sure all updates are installed via the myasus app...
@@Hubwood everything is installed, I put the maximum performance. Maybe it is the faulty device, although it works very fast
@@doda01 what are your fire strike and time spy results?
I bought the 680m in the form of a ryzen 7 7735hs a year and a half ago and was astonished with how powerful built in graphics were getting then, and in such a short time it’s already gotten so much better, tech is evolving extremely fast now, alarmingly you could say even
Could you test with Fallout 4 please?
Can you test it with fluid motion frames 2?
AMD is really killing it in low power APUs, Nvidia might be king with discrete GPUs, but AMD APUs are something else in low power.
Came here just I wanted to tell u I just played 3 hours of Witcher 3 with Zenbook S16 2k Medium Balanced FSR 30fps Lock im really really surprised rn
What about Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 for emulation?
It can run of course the know emulators just as good as any modern Desktop high end CPU.
@@Hubwood I meant the iGPU for stuff like PS3, Xbox360, Wii U or Switch
@@LockeLeon these 4 systems will work fine.
I wonder how this performs at 27-30w. If its better than 780m, then we might see a second generation of handeld PCs
Check out my video where I compare it to the 780m
@@Hubwood nice, 20w results are looking good but at 30w the difference is not that big. If it's going to be in a new generation of handhelds the selling point will be efficiency
Is this igpu coming to desktop APUs?
Maybe.
Can you do a video about the gpd win max 2 (2024)
Can you do Destiny 2?
Finally i let my 8700g to my mobo but with my 3070
Next time in Minecraft try shaders and try walking around to get a better idea of 1% Lows. Turning up render distance isn’t really stressing the gpu it’s cpu dependant. So the shaders would stretch the gpu to the limit
Do I have to install them? Have a guide?
Could u compare it against the ultra 7?
Lol the Ultra 7 is simply garbage there is nothing to compare between them. Even the AMD 365 is better.
@@mariussm7797 thats what u say when u just watch one persons benchmarks...I'm about to upload my recording on the same games in some time to start my yt channel. It will be on the galaxy book 4 pro with 40w tdp. Be sure to have a look at it. I'll ping u in the comments when done
Ultra 7 got clapped hard from 365 hx
@@princehariz7859 I saw a video where the 370 scored about 60 fps while the ultra 7 scored 40 fps which is not a huge difference in experience at all. Might be on paper but trust me. The Only differenece is from 30 to 60 and 60 to 90/120. The only thing I liked about the hx 370 was that this performance was at half the power which is amazing. But that 20 fps difference is not a major aspect to make a decision. The reason Im even asking for a comparison is bcos the hx has not released in India and there are no signs of it releasing either. Neither did any of the x elites released in india. Thats why Im planning not to wait and settle with the ultra 7 which is good enough for 99% ppl.
What about noise level ?
Du könntest Minecraft Java mit der Distant Horizons Mod und Iris Shaders ausprobieren.
I really hope someone can compare this laptop with to the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 / 7i. It's the only slim laptop with preview gen Ryzen 7 8845HS + RTX 3050 6gb. In this way we can see which is the best for gaming since they are on the same category of price.
If gaming is really important you want that Dedicated GPU. Still.
@@Hubwood yes. I don't care about how efficient it is. HX 370 is still overpriced right now.
Nah for integrated gpu it’s crazy 💀
when it is launched in india
I honestly have no idea... Sorry!
Bro, please include fps of these games at high settings too, i would definitely like to see what happens when we play single player games like assassin's creed, cyberpunk etc on high settings on these apu.
Yeah I'd love to test all these games in all of their settings :D But it almost takes me a week to make a video like this already :)
Downloading and installing the games (I can't use external drives for all of them, many have to be freshly installed for every system) getting them to run as intended, fix issues if issues appear, find settings that make sense, benchmarking them, then recording 10-15 minutes of gameplay, after recording them I write the 5 pages of script for the video, then I record myself reading the script, then I edit the final video with choosing scenes, adding FPS and 1% lows, upload it and adjust the UA-cam Details, Keywords, Time Stamps etc. For a Video like that this already takes about 40 (forty!) hours. As I'm doing that BESIDEs having a full time job and family... I just can't do it for every setting. I hope you understand :/
@@Hubwood ok bro, i understand 🫂
@@Hubwood no hurry. Take your time.
More powerful than my Legion Y540 with i7-9750H and GTX 1650 💀
🙈 probably yes
Force the game to use just the first 8 threads
Latency between the CCD with Zen 5 and the CCD with Zen 5c is huge destroying the 1% lows
And Windows love to spread the load between all cores making it worse
By doing this you force the load in one CCD (the good one) and it don't need to wait for the other CCD
I actually did this (Not for this video, but beforehand). It seemed as this would only be the case for when I was using it at 17W or Lower.
For 45W and above there was no difference in AVG or 1% Low FPS.
Looks like it draws a lot of power though.
It doesnt have to. I was just using the highest possible TDP. Can also be run with for example 10, 16, 20, 30, 45W etc. With great performance at lower wattages.
can you test minecraft java with shaders
Do they need to be installed? Is there a guide?
@@Hubwood yes it needs to be installed there are lots of guides the easiest way is to use prism launcher it Will make everything much easier for you
what about far cry 5/6?
They are the far cry versions between far cry 4 and 7. (And also primal and Far cry New Dawn)
@@Hubwood 🗿
@@simulping4371 and beside that they are perfectly playable on this chip 😅
Aw, no rocket league? wanted to compare with lunar lake:)
780M vs 4060 mobile please
Good igpu
Flight simulator cpu/gpu usage is way too low compared to what it should be.
Now try it with 4k, with 30 FPS sweet-spot
Igpu are increasing in performance and also in cost I think. 😅
I totally agree, probably will have to wait till next gen comes out so I can get one on clearance sale.
Yeah, I think we can expect the 40CU Beast everyone is waiting for expect to be quite expensive ;)

Imagen that. How toxic does the DotA community have to be so that he doesn't dare to play himself?
Haha I bet it is
But that's not the reason. I don't know how to play Dota 2, so I didn't want to spoil other people's fun/game . 😅 And my gameplay would be horrible to watch 😬
