What is your take on the ready position for serve return with a one hander? I've always started with my backhand grip, since I find it easier to transition to the forehand grip as needed. My backhand is weaker, so I like to get the grip done and out of the way. Does it really matter? Personal preference?

I think it all depends on your forehand grip. As someone who uses a eastern forehand and backhand, I like to use an "Aussie Grip," which is in between a eastern and a continental grip. Makes it really easy to switch to either forehand or backhand really easily. Worst case scenario, I'm blocking a huge, likely flat (if it's coming in that fast) back into the court to start the point.

Hi Jeff, it's ideal to centralize the forehand but if you know it's coming to your backhand and you can';t get around it, starting with the backhand grip is fine. Thanks for watching!

Can you extend the video for after the serve has been received and what should be the ready position during the rally. I see djokovic holding racket neck during the rally and grip during the serve.
