Sadly the audio is distorted throughout the video. However, we did not use the Schuberth communication system to record the audio. The distortion is coming from an external microphone I placed inside the helmet.

@@lockieoz1 I don't think the system has that capability. Maybe you could record through the system if you use some kind of external Bluetooth recording device - or your mobile phone.
How does this compare to the AGV sport modular? I'd like a helmet that can be opened. I ride street with a 600cc sportbike mostly relaxed but with the occasional hard acceleration and faster speed.

Thanks Patrick. The parts of the visor not covered by the Pinlock do indeed still fog up, although this will be the same with almost any helmet when riding in weather conditions like in this video. The static you are hearing is from my dodgy microphone, not from the helmet or the helmet's comm system.
My C4 has the pinlock now fitted but it still mists up from the centre upwards in damp conditions. I am gutted as I spent 600 pounds. Is the C4 pro better for misting up.
How damp are your riding conditions? If you have an original Pinlock lens fitted and it presses tightly against the visor, then you shouldn't really have this problem. Try opening your front vent or adjusting your Pinlock lens.

Not a great video, for sure. Plus, you are not even wearing the helmet the proper way. I have the helmet as well and if i can see your mouth, you are wearing it too tilted to the front. Maybe this makes it more noisy.
What would you like to see improve on future videos? The helmet is sitting perfectly fine on my head, I assure you. The reason you can see my mouth is due to the large visor - the width and height are substantial.
@@FortaMoto totally agree it is sitting as it should, the visor is huge, the depth of the chin bar is not as deep as say the neotec 2 which is a very different field of view
Did you listen to this video before you published it to youtube? "Takes away a lot of the distortion whole you are talking"? is what was said. Perhaps not :-( The "distortion" to the audio throughout whole of the recording is NOT a good testimony SC1 comms system. Other than that this helmet looks like it is worth checking out.
That audio is not coming from the comms system. You can't pair the comms system with an action camera. Its from an external mike attached to the camera.

The AGV performs better at high speed, and it's lighter too. The C4 Pro is definitely more comfortable and quiet though.

They went with the pinlock120 for the C4pro, instead of their own version

I personally ride with the Shoei Neotec II, but the Schuberth C4 Pro is definitely a good helmet as well.

It’s fitting exactly as it should, maybe you are fitting yours incorrectly

Danny is right, we did not use the SC1 system. We have a mic placed in the front of the helmet.
