I'm in my 60's, and I've owned 28 cars over the years. I've bought a couple of cars off eBay and I follow BAT. Within my group of car guys there have been a good number of cars bought online. Some were great, others were not. That this car sold for just above reserve means it was priced correctly. This was neither a stock restoration nor a custom chassis pro touring. It is a nice car with a color change and a few bits out of place, and it sold for a fair price and will likely make a nice cruise night car.
I list on marketplace First line of add States, First person to show up with cash in the amount i am asking gets the car. There is no other price listed except the price you see here If my price isn't what you would pay. Move along. I do not need to sell this vehicle.
BAT sales reps will typically try talking you into selling w/o a reserve so they can get paid no matter the outcome. Unless you have something that is really in demand, you are taking a big risk selling at no reserve. Conversely, a ready buyer can occasionally land a heck of a deal on a no reserve auction. In most cases, there is no advantage to selling a vehicle without a reserve, too much risk.
Not a fan of bat . They don’t want sellers to have a reserve . It’s all about putting money in their pockets and playing by their rules. Not a fan of bat.
I don't care what anybody says... The 8s just don't look right orange. I know they didn't come from the factory that way. But every 8 I see just doesn't look right ANY orange!!!

I am a Pontiac man, and that GTO is ghetto
$22,500 is a good deal, most GTOs sell for $50,000-$60,000 now
@@CharleB-sabres yep, this one was not in tiptop shape by any means, but I think the new owner got a good deal
A good driver, in this market (falling), not a bad price but definitely market.
This was interesting. I didn't know bring a trailer was branding as higher tier sales. I thought it was just another Craigslist or EBAY type deal.
@@upchuckchops yep, it’s way more structured

@@briangoodman5260 yep, and that’s what we told the rep. I was concerned they wouldn’t let us move forward with a. Reserve at first.
Did you get much more then the reserve?
@@MichaelWagner-o3i not much
It sold for 22.500 with the wrong taillights and horrible chevy orange paint color that looks hideous.

Agreed the color looks bad and the work even on camera looks bad. I would not buy a car from blue grass garage after his description of that turd.
