More of this old school way. I like the story behind the hunt. The hunt and the 30sec of the animal going down. Most of all I love the cook up and re cap of the hunt.
A part of me wishes I wasn't a solo hunter. There's something beautiful and magical about roaming for a harvest with someone you can joke with. Too often, a hunt becomes something we're forcing and, if we don't harvest any of nature's bounty, we feel a sense of failure from the experience. But with a friend, at least you can say you were spending time with someone, planning together, working together and even when you have nothing to show for the effort but time spent with someone, you've succeeded in fostering a bond with someone. And you can't call that experience a failure. And if you get a few laughs along the way, all the better.
Same thing in the workshop. I have friends who work as a team, and we solo guys often feel they have it better than those of us who work alone. I've had someone work in my shop from time to time. The energy is almost always better for it.
Just finished Steve's book, "MeatEater" after being an avid fan for years....pleasantly surprised to find new content and I gotta say...the cinematography and production value has skyrocketed!
Man I NEVER get tired of watching Steve and finally see the man behind Black Rifle coffee... such a well earned deer 🦌 hunt... that water joke was hilarious 😂... I really enjoy the butchering in field to cooking to plate... love the MEAT EATER CHANNEL... keep em coming
This may be my favorite episode. Having Evan on is refreshing. I'd like to thank both Steve and Evan. Both for different reasons. Steve for inspiration and Evan for everything from his service to our nation and for his service to us coffee drinkers. So, thanks guys.
Really impressed how the sound is produced 😊 There is NO sound from the outboard motor when Steve and Evan are talking while going full speed in the boat
Steve, you 2 are going to have to hook up and do another hunt. Very interesting and informative, with fun injected in. Thank you for bringing us along.
I really and truly think that these episodes should be closer to an hour long. Let’s be honest, not much is happening on television and most people either stream or watch on UA-cam. There’s no reason that this show can’t have a season of 45+ minute episodes. Pretty sure the footage is there, especially shrimping, cooking, gutting, etc.
SO glad meateater is back! One gripe I have though, I have no idea why Steve and them changed the intro. The old intro was so epic and couldn't have been more perfect. This new one is ok, but if it ain't broke don't fix it. Don't mess with a good thing ...
i dont think i could ever pull the trigger on an animal myself. but i appreciate other ppls passions. i saw rinella episode of meat eater with joe rogan and bryan and i cant stop watching now.
I really enjoyed this video. I am Tlingit Indian from southeast Alaska. My family lives in Hoonah and Juneau. I currently live in Ohio. I still have many cousins and relatives that still live there my uncle's and my Dad would go hunting for Blacktail deer when they weren't fishing. This is a part of my heritage and I really enjoyed this video.
Awesome I was stranded in my 89 4 runner with my parents way up in the wilderness in northern Utah and a group of black rifles very close acquaintances were passing through and helped us out
I can't quite remember where, either on their website or on youtube, but I think they have put together a video and article explaining what calibers and gear they use on certain species. very interesting stuff.
As an old bugger from New Zealand it is nice to view a video where the guy actually hunts, instead of driving to a bind and waiting for a deer to show up. there is a place for the other type of hunting but it is a very small ,place usually reserved for old guys with a lack of fitness and big beer guts.
Super interesting to hear a guy who went to war in the desert marvel at Steve's endurance and stamina but it also makes sense when you think about the life Steve has lead, that was just another week for him scrambling up over mountains. He's literally been doing this his entire life in some form.
Currently in the middle of Steve’s American Buffalo book, I plan to read his Meat Eater Adventure book next. I was never much of a reader nor am I a hunter but his writing has got me feeling excited to read in a way I have never felt before.
The opinions of Evan is funny. Thanks for keeping it real and not deleting it! The not drinking water thing that Steve did is relatable because I do the same thing probably with minor differences but for me it started because when I used to workout everyday I didn’t want to get used to drinking water because the more you drink the more you think you need to. Then eventually you just get bloated and heavy so I would rinse my mouth with water to get rid of that thick saliva from my mouth but I wouldn’t drink water until I know i was done running for the day
One of my life's fitness goals it to be able to hike like Steve does. I wish Meateater would do an episode of Steve vs. Cal vs. Janis doing a full, overall health test on a treadmill with all of the necessary equipment like you see professional athletes do. That would be super interesting and a fun competition of sorts. The overall health of the modern mountain man.
Glad you finally moved the episodes to UA-cam, the website just isn't as smooth for these if you can just sit down and watch the episode. Hopefully you can just release them all here in the next season.
Man I really enjoyed this one a notch above others. Reminds me so much of my buddy and I hunting late season. We slow walk in the rain or snow to keep warm and eventually cover enough ground to come up on a deer. Almost always the last day of our hunt. Sometimes the last day of the season. Doin awsome stuff meateater. Keep it up. One of a kind
So stoked to find a new Meateater episode 🤙 funny I always tick like before I watch it 👍 in 11 seasons never been let down hands-down best hunting series on the globe thanks team for bringing it to our TVs Steve you are a true legend mate 👌😎
Great to see Steve out hunting again and producing great video's , along with getting more Military into the enjoyment of hunting .so relaxing in the bush and being in nature and being attuned to all the sounds and smells around you is something everyone should experience. It can change your life and the way you think of the world around you. Congratulations on the deer beautiful buck .😊. God bless
I absolutely love watching your videos I really enjoyed watching Steve Rinella and many others that are part of the show very much respect for all of these hunters
From An Australian 🇦🇺To An American 🇺🇸 Thankyou Sir For Your Service 👍👍And By Gee Your A Top Guy And Would Make A Grand Hunting ,, Fishing And Camping Buddy 👍🦌🎣🏕👍
True hunting. Great video. I have just started watching people in Maryland hunting the Sika deer in their marshes. I gotta say, I think I'm in love. I'm too old to go up there now, but if I had heard about this 10 years ago...
Evan was cracking me up so bad. Definitely has that dry military humor. Love it
Evan sexually assaulted one of his employees
He hates you.

Steve’s narrations are what makes the show. Love most of the other side series but the production on these can’t be beat!
More of this old school way.
I like the story behind the hunt. The hunt and the 30sec of the animal going down. Most of all I love the cook up and re cap of the hunt.
This is one of the best shows on any platform. Please never stop making this show Steve
Y'all are a cut above the rest! The filming, sound, editing is far superior to anything else. Steve is such a great embassdor to our sport.
Love this show... wish they had more episodes.
The rest of the season is free on the website. Not sure if they will be posted here in the coming weeks or not.

Weird way to tell everyone you're a solo hunter... We all do that... 😂
Same thing in the workshop. I have friends who work as a team, and we solo guys often feel they have it better than those of us who work alone. I've had someone work in my shop from time to time. The energy is almost always better for it.
well put
As another solo hunter I agree. All I got is my son once and a while. Where do you live mack, im in the high deserts of arizona.
I agree man. Hell I wish I just had a friend whether we went hunting or not 😂
Love seeing a hunting show in thick bush with two deer sightings in 5 days. Breath of fresh air really. That is hunting sometimes...
What a great hunt. But a big shout-out to the camera crew that is also able to keep up with these two wilderness athletes. Bravo!
What a pleasant surprise to sit down for lunch and find a brand new episode! Great, as usual!
Literally did the exact same thing
All of Season 11 has been available on their website for several months
This episode was on Netflix in the UK.
This is not brand new. This episode was released in 2022.
@bluesteel8376 My screen still says "1 day ago". It may have been available elsewhere, but it was released to UA-cam yesterday.
Love seeing new personalities hunting with SR, keep it fresh!
So much more work went into this video than what was presented to us. Well done guys.
Another great episode. The camaraderie cooking after the hunt was heartwarming. But you guys are tough!
Glad to see these back on UA-cam!
can't wait for season 12, keep up the great work.
The blacktail hunts always seem like the hardest and you may get nothing, but also the most rewarding. Great episode.
Perfect example of never giving up, meateater best show ever 👏
Awesome video! Thank you for your service sir. Thanks for taking us along on your hunt.
This may be my favorite episode. Having Evan on is refreshing. I'd like to thank both Steve and Evan. Both for different reasons. Steve for inspiration and Evan for everything from his service to our nation and for his service to us coffee drinkers. So, thanks guys.
I love the work before the harvest…. That’s when all the stories and talk tales come out… it’s the stories later
Anything with Steve rocks!
Thank you, Thank You for showing the shot fired on the buck. Always a big thanks to the unseen hero, "The Cameraman." 👍👍
I really and truly think that these episodes should be closer to an hour long. Let’s be honest, not much is happening on television and most people either stream or watch on UA-cam. Congratulations Evan. Certainly had to work for that one. I think it’s what makes the best hunts. Meat Eater is just Fantastic. 👍👍
I love when they go to the cabin it’s the best.
These guys are another breed! My kind of breed! When things are easy we are easy, when things get tough we get tougher!
Thank you for your service Evan.

He is an alien and he absorbed water through the pours of his skin😂 I was beginning to think you were going to change the name to shrimp eater😂
Probably a frog
can't wait for season 12, keep up the great work.. Love seeing new personalities hunting with SR, keep it fresh!.
Really like the dry, low key sense of humor on Evan. Hope to see him more.
Man what a wet place but what a beautiful place too. Thank you Steve and team.
Awesome I was stranded in my 89 4 runner with my parents way up in the wilderness in northern Utah and a group of black rifles very close acquaintances were passing through and helped us out
I definitely recognized the ol cabin right away. Breathtaking scenery.
I just got pumped when I seen Steve on the thumbnail
I would really like to see MeatEater give details on the rifle, caliber, optics etc that the guests on the show use!
I have always been curious of the firearms they have in these episodes as well!
I can't quite remember where, either on their website or on youtube, but I think they have put together a video and article explaining what calibers and gear they use on certain species. very interesting stuff.
This is what makes hunting the challenge and has the draw it has!
Finally, good old meateater episode :)
Came out like 8 months ago, lol
As an old bugger from New Zealand it is nice to view a video where the guy actually hunts, instead of driving to a bind and waiting for a deer to show up. there is a place for the other type of hunting but it is a very small ,place usually reserved for old guys with a lack of fitness and big beer guts.

We need more! Love this show! Been following it for years!
I was shocked to find a new video. THANK U!

Awesome episode! My uncle passed away a week ago and used to be an avid fisherman, and he too was a Green Beret.
That’s a compliment when spf soilder says I hope he slows a little bit lol Evan and his crew are awesome great hunt
Finally they put Steven on an episode, its good to seem on
Evan Hafer is one bad dude.
Glad you finally moved the episodes to UA-cam, the website just isn't as smooth for these if you can just sit down and watch the episode. Hopefully you can just release them all here in the next season.
I imagine they will release them 8-12 months delayed like season 11. The point of having them free on the website is to drive traffic.
Finally an episode with my man Steve
Every video on this channel isnt a meateater episode like this thats why he isnt in them all
One of my favorite episodes by far. Congratulations
Best hunting series out there
I hope that season 11 being on youtube means that season 12 is about to come out on the website
Probably not for awhile yet
@@D_Boone they finished filming a month or so ago, so it'll be sooner than you think
Outstanding TV show which I will watch any time

Awesome episode. I like the hell out of Evan and BRC’s content & coffee, plus your slice of heaven in SE Alaska. Great job guys.
Aaaaand we’re back ladies and gentlemen! 🦌 🐠
So stoked to find a new Meateater episode 🤙 funny I always tick like before I watch it 👍 in 11 seasons never been let down hands-down best hunting series on the globe thanks team for bringing it to our TVs Steve you are a true legend mate 👌😎
I think going on a hunt with you Steve would make my bucket list....
Steve’s a camel, “haven’t topped this off in a few days”😂😂
Great to see Steve out hunting again and producing great video's , along with getting more Military into the enjoyment of hunting .so relaxing in the bush and being in nature and being attuned to all the sounds and smells around you is something everyone should experience. Thank you for your service and your coffee 🙏 it wakes my ass up early in the morning 🌅
Who ever makes these videos give them a raise!
No better feeling than getting that tag on the last day of the season
Alaska is on my bucket list.
So happy to have a new episode!
I absolutely love watching your videos I really enjoyed watching Steve Rinella and many others that are part of the show very much respect for all of these hunters

Thank you so much for changing the intro music!
From An Australian 🇦🇺To An American 🇺🇸 Thankyou Sir For Your Service 👍👍And By Gee Your A Top Guy And Would Make A Grand Hunting ,, Fishing And Camping Buddy 👍🦌🎣🏕👍
Certainly enjoy every episode you guys do. Thank you.
True hunting. Great video. I have just started watching people in Maryland hunting the Sika deer in their marshes. I gotta say, I think I'm in love. I'm too old to go up there now, but if I had heard about this 10 years ago...
I always love it when he comes back to home...

Welcome back to you tube brother, glad to see you back, love meat eater and you changed the intro
Always a good day to see a new Steve video. Fantastic episode!
All of season 11 is on the Meateater web page. It came out in December 2022
Awesome episode in the most crazy mythic beautiful place.... legendary
Thanks for your service, sir. God bless
Nice to see you Steve. Awaited your return
If you hear Steven's voice in the opening you know it will be a great video.
❤ love every episode. Though I do wish the episodes were longer or maybe with some bonus shots at the end. Behind the scenes or something.
Well boys
That coffee rub has me very intrigued 👍👍
Great experience fantastic hunt
Love it
Water and rattling. I'll keep that in mind for the up and coming rut this year
Evan harping Steve about hydration was hilarious- good advice of course, but hilarious nonetheless
That turned in to the best surf n turf... Wish I was there
Welcome back Steven.
these two in this episode specially Evan cracked me up..
Thanks, Steve.
Anything with Steve rocks!. We need more! Love this show! Been following it for years!.
Yesssss Steve is back
So what does it take to have Evan Hafer come on a hunt to make coffee for us? Must really give you the fuel for the day
Steve asking if he got a hit after Evan perfectly dropped that buck had me laughing 😂
They were only a few feet apart, but Steve may not have had a view of the buck at the moment.
