@@HydeKills I can see how it can be confusing. In my opinion, UA-cam should have never removed the Dislikes from public view. People are free to click the dislike button, and I will see them, but this comment counter is the only way for people to see dislikes publicly (besides seeing negative comments of course).
People who say its pay to win and people who say its dying are both either trolls, or idiots. It is neither of those things. I might consider it much closer to pay to play with a very extended free trial, but not pay to win.
In the time stamps tap 0:00 as a time stamp and it should make your video into chapters! Great video tho you have some potential, keep making gameplay content and guides
I just had a thought, [SQ] can E.O. be played using joysticks? I thought there was cargo hauling and salvage occupations, that you didn't list (or I didn't see listed)? ;-)
Again, a tutorial that starts with a game already set up with an UI populated with all kinds of grafic windows and menus. I am playing Alpha with FREE acount, and mine does NOT open with all that. Mine did not start that way, but my capsule was already in space and there was only Aura AI on screen with me. Where in the H did those windows come from, and what is that round thing in the bottom middle of your screen? Yes you guys are seasoned gamers and do not realize that some of us are REAL beginners to a large and complicated game such as this. We need to take small and slow steps to get the hang of things. Start with screen setup and how to activate and change settings, design your HUD, find menus, where is the Overview Settings window, ect. But anyway, thanks for providing your video. Good Day.
I have since received help from support and needed to clear my cache to fix a bug. I have now been playing for 6 weeks or more and enjoying the game. Forgive my frustrations, as this game can be overwelming for part-time gamers like me. Now I think I'm hooked. My chores are falling behind and the wife is a little upset with the time I'm spending on "that stupid game" she says. ;-)
Fortunately, there are amazing mining guides out there already from other creators - I try to make videos/tutorials of introductory topics that are often overlooked or aren't easily found in the existing community. I'm sure you'll find a higher, better quality mining guide out there than one I can produce. :)
I am aware you probably didn`t want to "bloat" the video more than it`s current 27 minutes (I mean covering even small new game fragment of eve is something enormous in effort >and time< when to be put in video, I am sure) but when you were showing the t1 security mission you should have right there and than put a segment where you fit a ship (because wtf was that guns and DPS on mining craft explanation anyway) and than shown the mission through and through with added in the beginning Captions "If you don`t want to see 1 more t1 eve mission skip >this amount of time ahead
Good points - I was trying to fit all the most basic necessary info into a short a video as possible, and it's definitely difficult with Eve! This video is intended for someone who just got into Eve and felt completely lost within the first hour or so. This was meant to button up any of those holes in the introductory game experience.
