    Along with all this stuff, it’s mostly the environment, lack of modernization, no or little pollution, fresh mountain air, you cannot mimic that in the cities that most of us westerners live in…even if you are the exact same diet as them. Your environment has a large role to play in your overall health.

      I am 70 my husband 74. Only yesterday in a shop returning some things one of which was our employment status. When We said we as both retired 're assistant looked up in shock and asked if we retired early. I said I had infact worked on past retirement age while husband had taken early retirement aged 60.
      He blurted out how old are you both immediately apologising.
      I laughed and told him his shocked response was * no
      way I thought that you were in your 50's at most.
      He's not the first person to have this response.
      We have been married since our teens me 16 husband 19. He has never eaten a processed meal or fast food rather everything from bread to main meals biscuits,cakes are all home made from scratch. I've never drunk alcohol or smoked.
      Lifestyle is everything for health happiness and long life.
      When I stand beside school friends I must admit there is indeed a vast difference

    Nice video but really just repeats common sense. Anyones's doctor or parents will remid us of all of the things mentioned. The "8 secrets" are no secret at all. That being said, sometimes life gets bsy and we cannot always stay diligent, so maybe it's a good reminder to do what is best for our health.

    • @shelsie507
      @shelsie507 8 місяців тому

      But even tho it’s common sense and us western civilization people get it told a lot. We still don’t follow it. So if you think it’s a repeated video and you saw it all then there’s a sign to action instead of listening and not doing. And yes! I do. Which is how I am 30 and still look 17.

    First-No such people in north Pakistan, maybe further east in Himalayas. Further indigenous people there don’t have access to all those fruits and nuts described, some longevity in that community is due to holistic nature related lifestyle that is different from west

      @nvand5350 Рік тому +1

      Although the video is poorly researched (what you see in this video are Kalash people who are totally different from people of Hunza). Yes there are plenty of nuts and fruits grown in that region that are sold not only in Pakistan but abroad. The word 'Hunza People ' is incorrect. Hunza is the name of the region not the people. Kalash that were shown in the video drink wine, live a happy life and follow a pagan relegion. They sttled in Pakistan from Eurasia over 20,000 years ago long before Alexander set foot in that area and have nothing whatsoever to do with Alexander. That is a myth proven incorrect by DNA analysis.

Yes they are healthier because of everything that was mentioned, but.. they age and their life spans are not longer than a person who lives in the city. I have a lot of family there, and they develop the same health conditions as us in the city, which then requires them to come to the here for treatment

      First coined by researcher Dan Buettner, Blue Zones are areas that are home to some of the oldest - and healthiest - people in the world. According to Buettner, there are five places where you're more likely to find people in their 80s, 90s, and surpassing the 100 mark with ease. Here's a little about each and why they may hold the real secret to living as long as possible.

      The Greek island of Ikaria is home to fewer than 10,000 people, but they are a healthy bunch. According to Blue Zones, they are nearly entirely free of dementia and chronic diseases. Additionally, one in three residents here lives into their 90s. How? According to researchers, it comes down to their social-centric culture, activity levels and diet, and love for a good glass of wine. "They enjoy strong red wine, late-night domino games, and a relaxed pace of life that ignores clocks. Clean air, warm breezes, and rugged terrain draw them outdoors into an active lifestyle

    I remember reading years ago about how the Hunzas basically lied to the British that visited them about their age, therefore passing themselves off as older than they actually were. Apparently, they got away with it, since they had no birth certificates. Also, the Hunza women apparently had (maybe still have?) a high suicide rate.

    • @AI-ch3if
      @AI-ch3if Рік тому

      @@co9bra Looks like they are outliers. From Wikipedia: 'A widely repeated claim of remarkable longevity of the Hunza people[15] has been refuted as a longevity myth, citing a life expectancy of 53 years for men and 52 for women, although with a high standard deviation.[16] There is no evidence that Hunza life expectancy is significantly above the average of poor, isolated regions of Pakistan. Claims of health and long life were almost always based solely on the statements by the local mir (king). An author who had significant and sustained contact with Burusho people, John Clark, reported that they were overall unhealthy.[17]'

      Even now in other districts of GB especially in Baltistan which arent much modernized have dozen of people of both sex who are above hundred because they use the same natural food once Hunzais were supposed to use.
