you gotta have a crazy large battery to do high speed delivery for more than 2 hours. My doordash bike for many years was a predator 212cc 4 stroke engine on a fat tyre bicycle because i could stop anywhere and fill it up in a minute, used to get 50-60 miles out of a half gallon fuel tank when riding fast. Now that i have moved to a smaller town with slightly stricter laws i just do it on a diy 52v 2000w bike with dual 20ah batteries.
@@ramborambokitchenkitchen6357 yea I currently have two batteries in parallel equaling up to 72v 80ah. I’ve always thought those diy gas bike conversions were awesome! I just stayed away from them cause I’ve been told they need a lot of maintenance.
@ the 4 stroke ones were pretty reliable for the most part, my first one lasted 20000 miles which was just under 2 years of near daily use. Second engine is on 25k miles and still runs. It’s the 40 dollar 50cc 2 strokes that everyone uses which are the ones that need constant maintenance and often arrive broken in brand new condition. On my bike it was the actual bicycle parts that needed all the maintenance not so much the engine.

Most E-bikes are still built for short urban excursions and there's always be someone the buyer might want that isn't there or something wanted different. there's a lot of bikes that can't be modified and still look good.
Not bad. But ditch the e-bike for a chinese gy6 moped. I average $30-$35 an hour on my moped. And I average $50 plus an hour when using my hayabusa. If you learn how to rebuild the gy6 motors, it becomes way cheaper than the price of your e-bike. $5 gas gets me around $170-$220. Benefit of the moped is you're not standing for hours on end.
