my grandma and mama were smashing our burgers long long ago---as a matter of fact I think way back then almost every cook flattened out their burgers so they were very thin----perhaps then it was in order to get more burgers for your buck cause you could feed more people if you made thin thin burgers---and who didnt love the crunch of the meat mmmmmm that is one of the many meals I miss that mama and grandma made when I was growing up-----oh to have them still here with us cooking all their great meals and making their delicious desserts.....you and your family sure know how to have fun together and love on one another in your own special ways
