One of the main reasons i love old tube amps (and solid state) is because you can fix them on a component level. If an amp with built in digital effects or features like USB recording or something breaks down good luck fixing it. If you're lucky just remove it from circuit and keep the core amp working. But some modern "all tube" amps are actually hybrid designs and a lot of companies (cough cough blackstar) won't provide schematics so good luck fixing them on your own
