I bought a 2021 CT4-V awd 3 months ago and I am really surprise on how good it is overall, I came from 5 AMGs and 2 Porsches and I really have to say GM has done a great job to compete with the euros, thanks for the awesome review too!
I have a CT6 from its last year of production. I was sad to see it discontinued. While I'm not into providing a luxurious backseat for my teenaged kids, I do like having plenty of room back there since they're getting tall.
That you had such high accolades for a Cadillac is jaw dropping since I've never heard you say anything good about Cadillac. This CT4-V must be damn good! A great, thoroughly detailed review. You put it through its paces. You convinced me that this is better value than a 330i so if the assembly lines can crank these out, I'lll buyt one.
I’d really like to see that “Buckle Up to Drive” feature standard in all new cars. It’s a really good idea, and I hope that feature will also help to prevent more deaths.
Micah and Evie clearly pointed out some of the odd quirks of the car. If Cadillac can address these issues that would help in 'adjusting' to the 'as tested' price. This would be a good candidate for being a non plug in hybrid...2.0L turbo + electric system.
Hmm. I always thought the CT4 was a dull looking car, but it sure looks good in this blue color. I especially like how the C-pillar/rear window sweep into the trunk lid. I'm not a fan of the interior, and the engine/exhaust noise, which would drive me crazy! As always, thank you Muzio Family for another honest car review.
Think the CT4 is a step up from the ATS but not sure about this 2.7 engine. I think the CT5 V6 may sound better and handle just as well. Great review, informative but also fun (except when the kiddo is not feeling well!).
This is on my list along w 330i and Volvo S60. The interior looks a bit too much like a Chevy car and wish they would put in the Escalade interior/infotainment so it’s distinguishable from other gms. Overall, great looks and for the cost it’s a great deal.
What stinks is that in so many ways this would be a really good option for me to consider vs. German offerings. Nice chassis and steering, ventillated seats unlike the BMWs, awesome Supercruise, and less expensive. But it's just some of those details that really bug me and would "force" me to spend $55,000 on a german sports sedan. The things that stand out to me are the small screen, lack of interior materials up to my standards, button instead of sensor on the door handle, baffling drivemode selector, lack of LED turn signals, and the intense list of things that aren;t stabdard and are not optioned together well. I also would have a tough time choosing between rear drive with the full magneride suspension and LSD vs AWD given that I live in NY.
@@Brian-jv8iy You're absolutely correct. Based on what I've read, Cadillac's supercruise is better for specifically high speed highway cruising then the BMW drivers assistant proffesional or the MB drivers assistance package, but for lower speed and smaller highways, the German's are better. And there are other reasons i would rather have an A Class then a CT4. I've just always been a German car guy. That being said, in the US, you can not get ventillated seats on a 228i GC, M235i GC, 330i, or M340i unfortunately.
I actually enjoy some of Cadillac's heritage "nod" styling. I thought one of their best vertical fin taillight designs was the SRX from 2010-2016. Although, virtually everything else about the vehicle was hideous to my eye!
I ran the configurator for the Blackwing with manual, and could not find cruise control at all? Also, many other features could not be had in the 6 speed. Also, even though its called Blackwing the big black trunk lid spoiler seems only available in a very expensive package for carbon fiber bits. I have a tripod with carbon fiber and for lugging around all day in the woods that makes sense, but for looks its not worth it. I would rather have paint protection film.
Couldn't they have made the trunk at least a couple of cubic feet bigger, by extending the rear one foot longer? I have a BMW coupe and its 12 cuft. and that is a 2 door with a longer straight 6 cylinder, longer hood.
I would go Genesis G70 3.3TT over this Chevy. The interior on the CT4 is so cheap and dull looking. Bare minimum effect was put into this and its apparent everywhere
I'm confused. Is this a second review of the 2022 Honda Civic in Cadillac clothing, or was this CT4-V dressed as a Civic in the last review. GM-Honda working together or mocking each other?
Civic doesn't compete w/ CT4v - no, because it's better - in 8 years the Civic will also be worth more - btw, what cheap scratched up plastic on the Cad
I am just spitballing here but I m guessing that if you are buying a car, you won’t be sitting behind yourself as you drive it. That sitting behind yourself test in car reviews are the stupidest of all car review tests on earth, because that’s actually not possible with the laws of existence in this dimension of the multiverse. You will never actually do that.
To clarify, the "sitting behind yourself' test is simply a way to demonstrate rear seat leg room with the front seat in a typical position. Multiverse not necessary.
@@MicahMuzioThe fact that you even take the time to reply to that response shows the level of dedication you have to your viewers … Thank you for the video and also for defying the laws of the multiverse !

There's something special about ct4/V...might be the industries best kept secret..just as the beloved Chevy SS/G8
Evie’s reaction to the car getting too close is SO relatable. I have a stress ball in the car for those moments 😂
Great review Micah ! Evies input is always a plus.
We’ve got to get to 100k; I want to see that van!

nice to include the family on the video.

From behind it look´s like a Jaguar XJ... This Cadillac look really nice.
Love the color! The instrument cluster is so old school. It doesn’t seem fancier the a regular Chevy.
Good point
Seemed that Micah enjoyed driving the CT4. I hope it is a success for Cadillac. What about offering a naturally aspirated LS V8?

Cool video.. Micah doing and saying Micah things lol

The lines in the rear of the CT4 V remind me of an envelope. But i still love it because yanno...horsepower.
Uh oh! I used to get carsick in the mountains too!
Crisp and luxurious vehicular!
Love the Stephen Stills lyrics throw-in!
Awesome review thank you!

Ya so annoying you can’t get the magneride with the awd
It's crazy how GM is still so bad at packaging
Agreed…though the CT5-V addresses much of those issues that plagued the CTS.
Hi love your channel
As long as they insist on the 'heritage' vertical tail lamps, they'll continue to struggle with the rear end designs.

Very luxurious love the design nice interior

i love both
Looking forward to your next flight. 🚁
It's amazing what the car can do. And it's a manual
I’m pretty sure this is the first video in history, that isn’t a Norman Greenbaum related video, where Spirit in the Sky has been referenced.
Great review, hope they sell a bunch, but not for me.
Couldn't they have made the trunk at least a couple of cubic feet bigger, by extending the rear one foot longer?
I have a BMW coupe and its 12 cuft. and that is a 2 door with a longer straight 6 cylinder, longer hood.
It's because of the alpha structure the beams allow stiffness so they had to cut the trunk space.
That 2.7 turbo motor GM said was made for trucks
When you get to 100k subs make sure you review a Ford or Mercedes white van
"he's the guy who you don't have fantasies about" OooOf. LMAO!
High 5's to all of the Muzios'. 🤚🏻
Can you do the ct5 v next? :)
Hope Little Evie's all better. Evie's not looking so great at first either. And Micah has allergies. Thanks for keeping it real Muzios!
🌞👍👍
I'll take the ATS-V
5% of us will understand the lyrics, the other 95% will google them. I think it's time we stop :)
Excellent review 🥞🥞🥞🥞🥞🥞🥞
CT4 Competes with the Bmw 3 series Audi A4
CT4-V Competes with The Bmw m340i Audi S4

CT4-V or Acura TLX?
Man, almost $50K and no digital gauge

Poor baby. I was wondering how she was able to deal with the curves and then 🤢.
A very long standing question on my part. Why do sneezes come in pairs? Why more than one? Why not three? Why not four?
No one said bless you when he sneezed That's very disappointing.
Ooooh…the 2.7L four banger that Chevy can’t give away in its Silverado pickups. Mos def a luxury car power plant. And it’s loud for a luxo car.
Both are europen car brands killer
Wow that’s your wife well done sir cute wife hot car 👍👍👍.

Poor thing. Looked uncomfortable throughout in the video. Definitely not family friendly if it’s getting your daughter carsick.
