  • Cadillac's sedan lineup was in an awkward place last year. The ATS/CTS/CT6 were priced like the BMW 3/5/7 Series, yet they were smaller inside and didn't offer the "wow-factor" found in some of the German competition. For 2020 and 2021 Cadillac is going in a different direction with their new CT4 and CT5, the only sedans in the lineup. The CT4 is considerably less than the ATS and now targeted at the CLA, 2-Series and A3. This formula sounds insane, but strangely enough... It works....

I personally feel that Cadillac has lost its identity and is trying very hard to figure out its true purpose and reestablish its brand name once again. However, they need to figure out what they want to be, where they need to compete and what type of products to sell. Right now they are throwing everything but the products are nothing at the same time. No current product excites me at all that I would even consider buying. I wish them good luck.

The interior design. It needs help. Otherwise. Great chassis, great package overall. GM pay attention more to what Audi is doing. Hands down still the most handsome interior in the class. You don't need to make it hyper expensive either. But for a car with so much promise and substance. It is just a hair short. GM is on a roll. I think at this point. Make the interior a nicer place and I am in. Not just talking about the CT4 but all of the Cadillac line. They are better sure, but certainly not class leading. Cadillac is a name that says you have arrived. Not that well this is a rental and I wanted something nice.

I agree that supercruise is hands-off, where as Tesla isnt (but we all know that its for regulatory reasons, not for the lack of ability); I have driven Hyundais and Subarus with Lane keeping, and they ping-pong.
