@@doylesean9933 most of the time envious will be better unless you are in a niche situation where you can't proc it or teammates need ads to proc their things.
Envious especially since its really good for mag dumping unlike recon I also have a barrel and mag that lessen my reload speed substantially so envious helps lessen that issue@@doylesean9933

I haven't had a chance to run with heavy GLs yet, because I've mostly been either trying out pvp or running meme loadouts through Glassway... lol! But I hadn't considered how the change to Heavy GL's damage profile would buff Explosive Light. I have several that I like to use, and it's cool that got a stealth buff.
I read a post on reddit earlier today with someone claiming that their testing found that Anarchy compared reasonably to Dragon's Breath in solo content. They were clear that it wasn't "better" but it was comparable. The sense I get is that it was similar to how you are comparing Heavy Wave Frame GLs to "normal" Heavy GLs. Competitive, but not better.
I know you focus mostly on group speed run dps strats, so I'm not surprised you're brushing past Anarchy in that context, but I'm curious if that comparison seems reasonable to you, given what you know?
I used to run Anarchy a lot back in the day when it was op, but as you said ,that era relied A LOT on special weapon DPS cycles. And those cycles paired perfectly with Anarchy's DOT damage profile. Can you imagine a scenario where it would be helpful that isn't hyper-niche?
I'm still going to take it out and mess around with it. There were some Dregs in the Cosmodrome yesterday talking shit about my new skateboard, and it hurt my feelings a lot. I lost like hours of sleep over it. So this morning I determined that the best course of action would be to staple some Anarchy grenades to it and go run those fuckers down.

I’ve noticed that with the rocket reserve changes, ammo bricks have been giving me more ammo than usual. With scav and double reserves, I’m now getting 3 ammo from a finder and 4-5 from a normal brick. I know in the past there have been weird mechanics with how much rocket ammo you get based on reserves, so it seems like the reserve buff has also improved the ammo economy (I may be totally wrong, and just misremembering how much ammo dropped pre-patch)
Also, hullabaloo could be great if we ever get a boss with multiple segments, like a spider tank or aksis from d1. Since it’s limited time, it’s not a horrible idea to hang on to a damage roll in case we get a boss like that before the gun comes back around.

We are so back with my goat 4/5 adept cataphrac, even if I don’t have mini frags I can run spikes and put an adept mag and switch back to boss spect and get 8 in the mag and theoretically have 24 rounds to go🙏

Dragoncult Sickle could now be the highest theoretical dps sword in the game considering it has two damage perks and almost the dps of other frames. In some niche scenarios (because of assassin’s blade requiring a kill) it could be a viable option, although total damage without relentless strikes might be low enough where it’s still ruled out.
Across entire reserves nah but for a short time sure I guess
Impact damage on anarchy was upped but the tic and explosion damage was not

Has anyone tested full court with the grenade launcher changes?
IIRC it buffs the explosive damage of grenade launchers so it should be stronger than before for the same reason as explosive light.
You're correct that it should be slightly better now, but it still seems like a really bad perk compared to what we have now. BnS way more reliable and Cascade Point burst is absurd

Would you ever consider adding a Berserker Grapple Melee spam dps value? Even if you just rip a solo Ir Yut VOD as an example (since those seems to be a good test example). It may not be as accurate but it would at least show a ballpark of what optimal dps looks like for it.

You run Spike + Adept Mag or mag swap and then swap before damage

Nah Bipod is explicitly for when you are doing rotations favoring total damage, but now that HGLs are the kings of total damage, it's irrelevant for DPS

How good is (cloudstrike)+(arc cascade/ALH GL) now?
My rotation with div is: 10 cloudstrike shots, reload then cancel the animation to swap for the cascade GL, empty the 6 shots then return to the sniper.
I assume you don't mean Div, but Cloudstrike is just okay imo for DPS

Didn't heavy impact rockets get a dmg change too? Where it now does more AoE and less impact dmg, so I'm curious how explosive light indirectly buffs them much like heavy GLs as discussed
Explosive Light buffs both impact and detonation on rockets, so no change there. It's detonation-only on GLs which is where the weirdness is from
Given how close adaptive GLs and waveframes are in terms of DPS, wouldnt heavy waves be the better all round GL? Like u can use them for potent ad clear and pretty good DPS

Not a bug, you just start on backup mag and then swap to spec
If by "envious bug" you mean it can proc multiple times and keep overflowing, there was TWID mentioning that change like 6 months ago I think.
Initially we weren't sure if it was intended so I left it out of the sheet

How’s wendigo doing? Didn’t see it in the list anywhere and adept wendigo is kinda my only decent gl. 1 pattern off on koracsis (how tf you spell that lol) and I’m not getting cataphract. We need some more BaS gls added.
Your options are 1. suck it up and grind a BnS Cataphract 2. Surrounded 3. Cascade Point. Wendigo only has Cascade Point out of those, otherwise you're stuck with Frenzy which is just worse than all of those. You could try Explosive Light if your goal is to use it on minibosses such as champions, but I think you'd run out the perk way too quickly on it if you tried to use it on a proper boss.

Its nice that anarchy is back to where it was but its a very clear example of power creep. Anarchy is almost exactly where it was in season 14. I think it might be 5% more damage now but whatever. I think the biggest thing that has made it not meta for general play (not speed runs or end endgame) is that exotic primaries and special weapons have gotten so good its hard to justify using anarchy and taking up that exotic slot. But it is nice having it back and not feel terrible about using it.
Double slug and div were both pretty heavily nerfed. Anarchy had more reserves back then as well which made it good for non-boss content. The usage rate of the weapon was insane because of breach and clear and they over- nerfed it in response.
@@tristanwright9572 Anarchy was the best heavy in the game for years, artifact mods had nothing to do with it. The real thing is we have actual good heavy weapons now--look at the perk pools on some old rocket launchers compared to now.
I think Anarchy probably has a use case in GMs for trapping doors and whatnot, but there just isn't a legendary special DPS option that keeps up with current heavy DPS (as it probably should be), even with Anarchy as a potent swap weapon to bridge the gap.

cataphract with scatter signal blade barrage and shards of galanor for two supers or star eaters since you can stack strand surge or would it be better to use cata with merciless, or just use cataphract on its own
If you know how to Galanor swap that's always going to be a good idea during long phases, but both options are fine
If you 2 had a god roll cataphract but the only difference is one has spike nades and the other has augmented drum, which one would you keep? Augmented drum one also gives you more reserves right? Please don't tell me augmented drum is better to keep if you could only have one because i deleted one that was perfect because i got the spike nades one :(
augmented.... you get 3 more ammo in mag with envious and can clear out the reserves in a single reload

@@jekyde832 right now (going by lightgg) there are solar, stasis, and strand surges for hypernet current. Use Semiotician.
@@jekyde832 all rockets have 25% surge this season if you have Overload Rockets turned on in the artifact. also, there are usually multiple activity surges. for instance strand is very common, so you can craft Semiotician

I haven't tested either without reserves but I'm sure you can find that fairly easily

weird channel to complain about PVP changes as this is a PVE channel + Igneous needed hit (but in the aim assist, not in the TTK)
@@life-destiny1196 I mean I play both both pve and pvp. Kinda weird to assume I only play one or the other, but igneous requires 3 headshots now, and can't 2 head 1 body anymore (a good roll does require trials/endgame. Should be a lil stronger IMO)

Heavy GLs are not breech loaded btw. All special GLs including Wave Frames are breech-loaded. (Breech means from the rear)
Heavy GLs are drum loaded

How do we feel about making all caster frames base have their respective DMG verb to their affinity in the heavy attack for instance arc would chain lightning (cause jolts a little to strong to give) solar would scorch, strand would unravel ect along with a small AOE affect, I’ve always felt like caster frames should be “casting” their heavy attack in their respective elements, is this too strong or does this fit the power fantasy of throwing elemental “cast” of DMG?
I don't think Bungie would do that as it's not really in line with their weapon design philosophy but I'd like some sort of splash at least
I’ve been thinking and Ik you said this doesn’t align with bungie’s design philosophy but here is each caster frame sword as I imagined it just incase a bungie dev happens to skim over this (the size of the AOE will be based on heavy attack energy) :SOLAR, can scorch and ignite to stun unstoppables / ARC can use chain lightning or possibly a weaker version of jolt to stun overloads / VOID can use destabilizing to stun anti-barrier / STRAND can use unravel to stun anti barrier / STASIS can use slow and freeze to stun overloads and unstoppable, this would make caster swords more of a tool that can be used to work on champs that everyone can have access too no matter the subclass or artifacts mod that ISNT a exotic weapon with intrinsics
