That was a great video and you taught about the belt tensioner tool. I'm replacing my alternator and serpentine belt. They were also suggesting I replace the tensioner as well. Is that necessary you think. 🤔

I used my same tensioner, I would only replace if necessary. No need to replace unless the old one is bad but couldn’t hurt if you decide to

Good job…..really not that difficult if you have any common sense at all. Just did alternator, belt tensioner and belt.
Repair shop wanted $900 for just the alternator…..bought all three parts from Rock Auto for $320.
don’t be fooled.
