I tried this recipe and modified it over time.. I have removed cinnamon. I used few jaggery shavings instead of 3/4th cup sugar to retain the sweetness from banana. I used 1tbsp of oil instead of half cup I used wheat flour entirely over plain flour. It still is delicious and moreover very healthy 😊❤️
Well I made the original. Loved it. Second time , substituted sugar with jaggery powder and used 1 cup whole wheat and half cup refined flour. Came out even better. Can't thank enough for this recipe.🙏
Thank you so much! I failed miserably making banana bread twice this weekend for the first time - I promised myself I would keep trying until I got it right! I didn't have cinnamon, vanilla extract or baking soda, so I simply used a cap full of pure maple syrup and an extra 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder. I used coconut oil in the batter and greased my pan with extra virgin olive oil before filling the pan with aluminum foil. :) At 40 minutes, the banana bread was finished! I let it cook for another 7 minutes just because and the texture was perfect! I still need to work on the dark brown color at the top, but honestly, once I removed it from the pan (after it cooled for about 5-7 minutes) flipped it over and sliced the first piece, it tasted so good, I don't care what color it is as long as it is cooked all the way through! Added the same proportion of items.. and it turned out to be Excellent..... a tip though from my experience is that- add a little Less sugar than prescribed as banana has its own sweetness which multiplies with added sugar..... Butttt at the end it all depends on how you like your cake. :)

I tried it. I followed exact procedure. Baked for 40 mints , but found it requires more time for baking. So kept more 10 mints but than too it doesnt baked from bottom.
