I've been using nxt 2.0 for 12+ years and its always my go to for a quick durable wax. Makes black paint pop like crazy for the ease of application. Usually get 4-6 months beading out of it too depending on the season. The best in its category imo

Been using it since 2007 when I won a 1st place b4 class got a full maguiaars detail kit at dubfest car show. Super shine. Use it on my bicycles also.

My 2016 F150 looks like new!
I've tried other products and nothing compares in an easy-to-use application setting. I've heard good things about Turtle Waxes Ceramic Wax. I've used Ice in the past, but still preferred NXT :)
For in bettwen washes, I apply Hydrid Ceramic Liquid Wax.
I live up north in Ontario Canada. I would recommend Formula 3000 as an undercoat. Fluid film is great as well.

I use fluid film back for my car here in VT. I've never understood people who buy a brand new car and don't immediately protect it. In snow states it's a must! My 2019 civic coupe ex-t still looks like new underneath. Fluid film black every fall. Might mix in some bar and chain oil into it next season too.

Great video man,just FYI, you should tape your trim on your bedliner and fender trims,it will save you the headache of getting the residue marks,but good video. Have you tried Butter wet wax from Chemical guys?

I used this a lot back when it first came out. I still have a little amount left. However its been sitting in a garage for like 15-17 years. Cold, then hot, plus all the moisture etc. Last time I tried to use it something was certainly not right lol. Honestly...I haven't seen it for sale around here for years and years now. Would like to get another bottle, plus a bottle of the original like you have. Ive been a Maguires fan since 2001. Badically the products I use. Really like their professional line.

I am a beginner in the paint detailing world quick question does it remove swirl marks because I have plenty on my car ?
No wax will “remove” swirls. It simply fills them in and makes them less visible. Regular waxing will continue to fill them in! Thanks for watching Morad!

Usually most waxes will leave white residue behind on plastic and rubber. So will this to an extent! Careful around your trim! Thanks for watching!

I would say it’s gotta sit on there for about 20 minutes. They say wax the whole car and the buff the whole car. It usually takes longer than 20 minutes to wax the whole thing if you’re taking your time. If you wax the whole car and then remove it will have gazed over by then! @@GarageGear dude I have to tell... yesterday I was doing some new researches about proper car washing and waxing and I noticed that a point was missing. It's related to decontamination. So i bought a meguiars final quik detailer and a clay bar mild 200gr. So my washing is still pending and will be in 3 steps :)

I’ve used NXT since it originally came out as well. Never gone back to traditional wax after how easy it is to remove the NXT.

Hi, it’s my first time using the the nxt generation wax paste and the results are incredible but I want to ask , when it’s time to put a new layer of wax, how I can remove the old layer of wax safely without hurting the car paint and clear coat?
I just reapply every season. I have seen guys wash their car with dawn soap before applying to remove the old wax.

I think Meg's Gold Class wax gives more of a deeper wet look gloss and NXT gives more of a cold mirror look. Maybe it's my imagination.
Perhaps! I’m pretty sure gold class is more of a carnuba wax which gives a deeper wet look. Downside is a short lifespan. Both great waxes! Thanks for watching

If you wash your car again do you need to put the product ?
It is safe to rewash your vehicle after you apply this wax. No need to reapply for about 5-6 months. This wax lasts a while. Thanks for checking out my channel Rickardo!

Used NXT 2.0 paste few years ago, really liked the finished wet look plus help with filling.
Bought the ultimate new improved formula paste wax. Not used yet but can be applied in sun. Probably why I may have picked it up.
Undecided but yes very close to call.

Ooooo... that’s a seriously loaded question lol!!!! That’s really a tough decision. A lot to consider here. The deep crystal wax lasts about 2-3 months and I have used that wax longer than the tech wax. The deep crystal wax also is a little powdery on removal. The tech wax lasts longer and is super easy to remove with no residue. So in those cases I think the tech wax wins. The deep crystal wax is just a flat out classic wax! Both have their minor differences and both do a great job. Thanks for still being an awesome fan of the channel SP! 👍
@@GarageGear What lured me to this channel was the red caruba wax video because I’ve got a Calvary Blue Taco lol. I bought it last year but didn’t apply it. Maybe I’ll just go get the Meguires now lol.
@@screaminpotato I would still give the deep crystal wax a shot. If you have it, why not use it. I would use it in the fall and winter months when the temps are cooler and the nxt wax in the spring and summer months when temps are higher because it will withstand the heat better. Give both a shot. They’re both great waxes!
