    I just want to say how much i love this series. Having a beginner learning from a pro, asking questions and getting advice as they go is just great. Ive watched all these videos and have goten great tips even though ive detailed my own cars for 25 years...youre never too old to learn as ive never had to use a compound until a year or two ago when i first came across this series. Great work mates!

    Thumbs up from Germany! I learnt such a lot from this series in the past few weeks...I have been using Meguiar's products in the 90s and early 2000s and I have just begun to put some more time into care care and detailing again. I was quite confused by the many different products on the market but the Meguiar's UK videos and also the short tutorials by Meguiar's Germany brought back my confidence that I chose the right brand. Thanks so much!

    Just a question when waxing is it always necessary to clay bar just unsure if give it a really good was then apply wax ??

    • @soontirfel9219
      @soontirfel9219 Рік тому +1

      That really depends on the type of protection you're looking for. Ideally, if you're going to clay bar your vehicle, you would want to follow it up with a compound/polish and then wax the vehicle. If your paint is in great condition and little to no settlement build up exist, it is not necessary to clay bar before applying wax.

    • @soontirfel9219

      Spray wax should not be applied to a waxed vehicle on the same day. However, if a week has gone by and maybe it rained or weather conditions were not favorable, a spray wax can be added after a wash to MAINTAIN the protection of the wax.

    Is it necessary to clay bar before, or is just a normal wash and dry alright ? 🧼

      @soontirfel9219 Рік тому

      We only have the one bay but you can apply to come if you email dmasterman@meguiars.com with pictures of your car and a list of the show and shine events you go to and enter.

    Suggest a spray that can be used after wax for mild cleaning, maintenance of shine and gloss and should protect the wax too.

    Would you recommend this product on a white car?

      All of our waxes are for every colour however I'd give our new 3 in 1 wax a try! It removes light scratches and swirls at the same time as polishing and leaving a layer of protection.

      Absolutely! A pound coin sized amount should easily cover half the bonnet

    Why not ceramic? What is the difference between wax and ceramic?

    • @meguiarsuk
      @meguiarsuk  5 років тому +1

      The ceramic wax needs to be applied to a wet car. As we were in the bay having compounded and polished the car we went for the conventional wax approach. Detailing 101 on Hybrid Ceramic Wax is out next week!

    Would it be best to apply the Fast Finish paint sealant first, then the Ultimate Liquid Wax?
    And where does the new Hybrid Ceramic Wax fit into the overall process? Maintenance purposes? Or is this the ultimate Ultimate sealant/wax application?
    Great vids by the way! Love watching these.
