Tysm!!!! The screen went black before a game started. I tried everything. But i did what you said about holding the button down for 10 secs, then waiting and trying it again. It worked!! Can't thank you enough. I was freaking out!! Only had it a week now.
BRO TYYY I got scared i just got my quest 3 in today and i set it up i was playing mixed reality and it went black and i was scared like i just got it i am waiting for my bobo sr pro head strap and AMVR interface so hopefully it can fix the problem
Quest 3 has 18W, not 16W power adapter. Using more powerful can't damage Quest. Quest drains as much power as it needs. We don't known why some Quests burned their charging port, but it happened also on original charger.
dude thank you so much. my quest got dropped recently so I thought it was broken because I kept getting black screen. I have a 3rd party silicone face cover so I think that's the issue. I guess I'll cut out the part thats covering the sensor. I was about to factory reset my quest, glad I didn't

Useless pointless help. Stupid thing wont stay shut down. I hold for 10seconds and the pos reboots showing the meta logo an straight to backlit black screen

The reason why mine is stuck on screen black is because I was charging it to much I put it on the charger right now if it does not work imma sell it and get my money back

OMGGG THANK YOUUUUUUUUU!! I just put a silicone cover over the interface and that's EXACTLY what the problem was!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

My quest 3 failed in less than a month. Hardware failure. Factory reset did nothing. Camera or sensor failure.

The light on my oculus the indicates the charge is green and theres no sound coming from the head set an im just very confused

mine keep turning black when i have my headset on after like 20 seconds its starts blinking and then turn black
