This is the best, most instructive and funniest video I have ever seen in my life !!! How great, thank you! You motivated me to wash my beloved one. 🐻❤️
This I literally me with my boyfriend and I's child stuffed giraffe. It's our baby and he has a spicy attitude. He loves soups and salads, and is jealous of the time we took him to the zoo and fed the other giraffes some leaves 😂
I suggest to save on product by first giving teddy a pre soak and squish until the water stays clear, and then adding the soap and baking soda. I also find the original spot where they’ve been stuffed and stitch rip it open to remove the fluff. I’ll put the fluff in a garment bag and wash it in the washer. Hand wash the exterior like you did then allow fluff to dry by putting the bag over the heat vent over night and hanging the exterior or laying it to dry with the fluff. Slowly pull all the fluff so it’s really fluffy looking making it perfect to put back into the stuffy (this is weird to write using so many fluffy stuffy words lol) It comes out very fluffy again, especially good if the stuffy lost its shape over time and flattened it out.
This is so cute and it helped my anxiety about washing mine. I have so many and a couple are big and extremely fluffy (but now matted a bit) so I don’t wanna somehow ruin or make them worse than they are because of how special they are but I think I’ll try it on a smaller one later.
I have the same issue. I'm super scared of washing mine and ruining them. I'm basically dependent on them, so losing even one would do some serious damage to my emotional well being.
This video not only very cute but the proposed procedure is very effective. Our old polar teddy bear has returned to a pristine condition. The use of honey has bait is very effective in luring the bear to the sink 😅
i don't even know why i should bother making a youtube channel. this is clearly the greatest video of all time. Can't wait to wash my stuffies! ( we found a bunch lying in our basement and they REALLY need a good wash)
@@tomasandteddyhi! I have many bears that are 30+ years old. I have washed some of my favorites only 1 time , but I was scared to wash him again. If Little Bear fell apart, or lost fur, we would be devastated 😢. You really wash Teddy every year & he is OK? No changes? ❤🧸🐻✌️
Thank you! I have dolls since kindergarden and collected more over the years. I sleep with more than ten dolls and it felt so dusty so I searched how to clean them and i'm happy that I found a teddy bear expert who treat their dolls like humans! (i'm 13 now so you can imagine the amt of dust my dolls collected over the years)😍😍
Thanks for this. I knew not to put Teddy in the washing machine but wasn't sure how best to give him a bath. This is brilliant. So educational and absolutely hilarious 😂Ted is only a couple of years old so hopefully not that grubby but he does get lots of cuddles being my Emotional Support Bear. Thank you. Definitely subscribing! 🐻
I love the humor! 😄 I'm a little worried about submerging my Esther Bunny in water, because I'm worried she won't dry completely and the stuffing inside will mold or something. How can I be sure it will dry all the way through? She's about the same size as Teddy, but is more packed with stuffing.
If you can wait for a warm day, it would be best. I worried that teddy would not be dry enough. But a hot summer days are the best. We did try a dryer on some other stuffies too and as long as they're not made from a plastic-based material, you may be ok. Just monitor it often, especially for any burning smell. Best! T&T
I am watching this with Milo, my dog. He is now half persuaded to allow his best friend, Mr.Mouse to take a dip in the hand basin. Now, we have to talk Mr. Mouse that he might enjoy a little emersion.
Hi! If it isn't a particularly sunny day, how do you suggest I dry my stuffed animal? I'm really nervous of her stuffing getting moldy 😖 Thanks for the video!
I have a 4ft wolf, and it has Fur rather than fuzz. Do you, by chance, know if I should or shouldn't do the same procedure at a larger scale? Regardless, this video was helpful!
It's a really tough call. It really depends on the material. I've seen stuffies handling dryer OK. But some plastic-based materials may get damaged. Try it and maybe keep monitoring the stuffy - especially for any burning smell. Best of luck!
I refuse to wash my teddy in a washing machine like most tutorials say, I treat him like a baby, and you don't put your baby in the washing machine 😂😂 I'd rather hand wash him 🔥🧡
A lot of my bears need a wash. There's a few in particular. Fred, Softie, and Max. I don't think they've ever had a bath. Ever. Fred is the most concerning, as he's over 20 years old. Older than me.. And he also came from a school (from 1990 i'm guessing) so god knows what kids were throwing on him. 😂 Softie is my childhood bear, had her since i was born, and she's also never had a bath. Max however, i don't think he can have a bath... He was knitted, not stuffed. So if he had a bath, he would just uh... "unravel" i guess.
Has anyone tried this method? I want a few opinions before I do anything. Recently I ruined my comfort item by giving him a wash. I'm not sure if it's the detergent or if I put the dryer on too hot or something else entirely. But I don't want it to happen again. Any opinions and tips would be really helpful.
Hi EeveeKat. I was also scared that this would ruin Teddy too. But it worked out for us. There are definitely a lot of methods and supplies to consider. It really depends on the materials and how much stress it can handle. From our research, we'd recommend avoiding dryers, since the high temperature can melt some fabrics. To be safe, go safe - do your own research or perhaps consult some pros like the manufacturer or the teddy bear hospital: secaucusdollhospital.com or the teddy bear repair:www.teddybearrepair.com/contact/ See if they give you some tips concerning your specific comfort toy. Best, Daddy & Teddy
Production on this was far too high for what it was. Good info though. I have a teddy that's not seen a bath in 40 years... lets see how chocolaty he turns the water.
That's a fair opinion. I know we got carried away. The teddyologist is honestly just a little joke to make people laugh. Perhaps a new field we need :)
Amazing job so fresh Teddy I liked 😍❤️
Thank you! Babcia
Finally I see someone treat their dolls like a real human being. I care so so much about my dolls as if they're alive.
Thanks.
Thank you! They can come to life through us and often do a lot of incredible healing. Blessings!
crazy marios bros, super mario logan, super mario richie, sonic and friends, awesome mario bros, its alot of people
I’m happy that Teddy made a full recovery. God bless this doctor.
My daughter and I watched this video. We were cracking up. I love the way you were gentle with the teddy.
Thanks for your kind words. Yes, Teddy is a very special friend and an important member of my family.

I was rolling in laughter when he said, "OK Teddy, hold your breath." 😄🤣HAHAHAHA!
Thanky you!! I'm passing on the teddy bear I was given as a baby to my newborn son! This was a very informative video.

You are really a very lovable man.....your family is lucky to have you....😊
I'm so honored to hear that. Just hoping to be the light for others.

Did you wash them?
This healed my inner child 🥺🥺 what a lovely video
Very nice allot of love and thoughts are put into making this video. I can relate how much you love your teddy 🐻
Oh yeah. He helps me heal to this very day and brings peace and fun to our family every day.

This was a pleasant surprise to and very helpful for a task that I am not looking forward to doing. This wholesome video makes it easier.
This is the best video about cleaning your stuffed animals. I have a snoopy last night I notice how grey he is. I may try this.
Much appreciated!
This is beyond awesome thanks for your help 💜💜🤗
My daughter threw up on her teddy bear and we watched this video together. She loved it 😂😂
Loved this video. So funny, creative, and informative too. I think children would enjoy this video too.
This has made my day happier! Thank you for this instructive and amusing video
That made my day. That's what we're here for. Best!
This is the cutest thing i have ever seen. Couldn’t hit the subscribe button fast enough! ❤️
Wow, so happy you enjoyed it. Thanks for your support.

Is the backside of the fur leather? If it is I definitely would not wash it. Consult with a furrier.
Yay , Teddy !
This is genius! How do you only have 233 subscribers? That is criminal! 😍🧸🥰
I loved this video very much then.
Adorable I used this x
As an ambassador from the United States of Abearica, Barrington would like to let you know he will be soon getting his first bath.
To dry it what should I do if I live in a cold place? Would a dryer work?

Will this help my buggy has less matted fur?
It's a bath, not a shower. Great video, by the way. 😂
LOL several times
Is there a worry for the insides?
Lol good effort

I put mine in a garment bag on a gentle cycle & let him air dry
Wont it damage the cotton inside?
very useful and funny thank you so much
Thank you!
i like this video❤
A wasimd machine messes up the cotton inside, and makes it uncuddly
Paula like it
I’ve just loved this video! It was just wat I was looking for ❤❤❤❤
That just made our day! Thnx
All of my bears love to eat honey, smoked trout, dipping dots, blueberries. 🐻🐻❤️❤️🧸🧸

Lol! New sub!
How do you wash a bigger teddy bear😔😔 my teddy is bigger and much harder i guess. I really need to clean him but he's to big😭
Sorry for the late response. How about using your bath tub and then sun-dry the bear outside? Hope it works.
Can i not use baking soda?
Omgg love thissssss
Fun

Does your wife know you make these videos !
Haha, yes, her and my daughter are my biggest supporters. Thanks for asking. We try really hard to do what we really enjoy doing.

Thanks for your note, John. We're just having fun while trying to be helpful and yes, we get often carried away.
This could have been shown in 2 minutes without all the extra bad jokes. Sorry you lost me a Teddyologist.
