  • In this vlog, I'm excited to introduce the newest camera in the Fujfilm lineup, the GFX 100SII, which joins the GFX world.
Rather than delving into a slew of technical specifications you can find elsewhere, I'd rather have an honest conversation about my experience with this new camera, particularly in the realm of landscape photography (and a few other genres).
I'm genuinely thrilled to showcase its capabilities alongside my beloved 50SII and share how it stacks up in real-world use.

Yeah, I have the GFX 50 S2. I'm probably a little bit like you. I do she professionally in a few different areas. I also have a Fuji XT5 which I do most of my wedding and portrait stuff with because the 50 just isn't reliable enough and I've been looking at the new camera and definitely want to get my hands on, I've got a Nikon D850 .... With a few lenses, which I'm going to sell. Once you've used a GFX, it's very hard to go back. The image quality even out of the 50 was just absolutely phenomenal. My jaw hit the floor when I started to see the images. I think this camera will be for me. It probably will be my last camera that I ever buy. I'm 54 but I cannot imagine ever needing more than 100 megapixels. The GFX line of cameras is just phenomenal but it is interesting. I have still kept my FujiFilm XT5 because I love a small camera sometimes just to go out and take photos.

Thank you for your video. I am looking at the GFX 100s11 for landscape. I have just one question for you: Do you have to focus stack for the landscape to get everything in focus?

No, not really. Sometimes you do if you have something really close in the foreground, but will probably say it's about 1:10 shots I focus stack

Hi Dibs, that GFX system looks amazing. I currently use the X-Series and love the Fuji system. I've recently switched to the XH bodies (I have both the XH2 and XH2s) and love them. I've considered moving to the GFX system but unfortunately the cost and lack of a high fps for Nature has put me off. I can understand anyone not requiring the fast fps using it because the quality of the files is stunning. I hope to return to the North Norfolk coast next year

Great to hear your journey with Fujifilm, the cameras you have are stunning to use too, I remember having go on the XH1 when it was getting released and was very impressed at its performance. Hopefully bump into you on the Norfolk coast one day if you make it back here.
