Great video!!! thank you. I am getting my GFX100SII as soon as available, already ordered it. I just fell in love with it when I reviewed it for my channel a couple of weeks ago.
I don’t know you guys, but for me this is a huge clip❤ I’m a noob in photography but it doesn’t push me away from admiring beautiful works of photographers. Thanks to Mr. OG, I can understand the difficult and obscure photographic theory by pizza slices😃 I don’t know this slice was already a professional term in photography or it’s just created by him, i really like it, it helps me very quickly capture the idea Mr. OG wanna share in this video, (maybe because I’m a foodie, I can get it by this word easier?😂) and I can simply understand what he wanna talk about in those pics shown here. Just very comfortable and pushing me forward to watch. I don’t know why, but many pics in this video, they make me starting to think of a story behind it, I mean, many pics here seem to have their own stories, I guess this is the greatness of this photographer Mr OG, I even felt sometimes unbelievable, and ask myself why you will think of stories from architectural photos? But I just can’t help, these pics are so story telling, and this is maybe the charm of photography. Thanks, sir, thanks for your guidance to a wonderful journey of photography here. Btw, can we get or see the photos that shown in this video somewhere? Maybe your website or.
Fun to see you at play! I look for patterns and abstract shapes in leafless branches and roof tiles. It’s nice to sneak those into a set of otherwise docu style family travel pics.
Really enjoy your work Omar! Thank you for your video's! Some people are making videos about UA-camrs and camera releases, but I have always appreciated how you do your videos (for the record!) I think you always strike a good balance of "art" and gear. Thank you 🙂
I liked the upside down photo. Made it look like something out of a futuristic city that is as tall as in the 5th element. If I were to shoot large format sensor, I would wanna try shooting somewhat wide angle with shallow depth of field. I’ve seen some shots like that, and it looks so dreamy.
Great shots, lots of really interesting shapes and patterns. I've been shooting slices of buildings for years and it's a lot of fun! I sometimes inject a layer of strangeness by rotating the image 90 deg or even better 180. It can give your brain pause as it tries to make sense of the unfamiliar world.
Omar, Hi from Australia. I only came across your UA-cam channel a few days ago… and I’m loving it! I love your enthusiasm and I am an iPhone photographer at present, but in support of the love of capturing photographs (drawing/writing with light), I will at sometime invest in a “proper” camera. The first camera I ever used was a Kodak Box Brownie that my mum had…many, many, many years ago…the one thing I learned using that style of camera was “composition” (I might add context too) is EVERYTHING. I love how you compose your photographs.
For some reason, that colored picture of the side of the building (the one you used warm tones(orange and green colors)) looks like a very expensive watch to me. Great picture, Omar!
So Fuji bought the RED internal raw License. I wonder when they will give us a firmware update with internal raw? They also need to add shutter angle to the GFX100 II
Very nice review and I love the slice concept (and your execution of it!). One nitpick comment, that 500mm lens is not a zoom lens, it’s a telephoto lens as it has fixed focal length.
I sliced you off this like. Hey? Great idea. I’ve been wracking my brain trying to come up with something for this year in Qatar. I think I might have found it.
Hi Omar! I'm visiting New York next month. Loved your work in this video, and some other great shots on the Manhattan skyline. Do you mind recommending a good spot for shooting the Manhattan skyline please? :)
Very nice images Omar ! But , my question is could you do and get almost the same results with the GFX50s ? How much of a image difference would there be ? Again , exceptional images !
Great Video Omar, I'm going to pre order this camera I think, I own the OG GFX 100 its an amazing camera but it weighs a ton, this new GFX is smaller and lighter with better features. I am kind of disappointed in the fact that Most if not all Fuji cameras are back ordered and it seems like a lottery to try to get one. Not sure when they are to arrive, I'm hearing mid June? not sure but am putting the order today. I am a total Fuji guy started with the XT-3 and been through many of the Fuji cameras. Looking forward to the new, smaller, lighter GFX. Thanks for the informative Video Omar. You're a funny dude and look like a true comedian! Rock on Brother !
I am convinced that the only reason to use 100mpx cameras is for fun. There are very little professional reasons to shoot 100mpx cameras. Good eyesight is good to have but not required :) I shoot 100 for some time now. It is amusing and fun.
Dope camera... Too expensive and actually been buying lower and lower megapixel cameras since I had the 60mp PhaseOne backs for my Mamiya Medium format bodies. 33 megapixel is just the sweet spot for me. But that is an amazing camera.
You're quite versatile with a camera. You could also be a physicist or cosmologist. Imagine applying your skill turning some graphs around until they match their desired data.
Sorry Omar, the Beatles beat ya to it with their red and blue album covers 🤣🤣 but you are better at it. Errrrrrr ummmm are the Beatles making a come back with your work?
Great video!!! thank you. I am getting my GFX100SII as soon as available, already ordered it. I just fell in love with it when I reviewed it for my channel a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks
More coffee!! Thanks
I don't shoot with either Fuji or Nikon camera, but it's always a joy to watch one of Omar's videos
Sony?
You never let me down. Another masterpiece. Thank you Omar.
Nice to see your "Slice" work! Now I want a medium-format cam!

Might make a video about this hot topic lol

I love your take on this Omar! It’s such a cool expanding of this concept. It’s also been quite inspirational. Thank you.
I would take pictures of my cats...
That's excactly what I did with the GFX100s and the 110mm f/2. No shame, no regrets!
Samsies
Nothing wrong with that, cats are fantastic models.
I would get Gerald Undone's approval first
If you'd like blurry photos of cats sure
I thoroughly enjoyed your work and the valuable insights you shared, Omar! I appreciate your videos. Thank you!
Love the slices.
Great series and very interesting project you are working on!
wow... 🤩 Great video Omar. Go ahead with this great quality. Pure fun and enjoyment to watch

Great ideas, Omar. I need a project like this.
Very interesting. A great idea to work with the higher mp cameras
AMAZING architecture pictures! What a quality and sharpnes! My compliments! Wolf

Love the slice concept! I've been doing that with cars.

I don’t own a Fujifilm camera anymore but still watch Omar’s videos ❤

Great images Omar! Thanks.
You slice so nice Omar! Love from South Africa 🇿🇦
looks like a great project!

They have a couple tilt-shift coming for GFX.
I would carry on with my street photography in my home city of London, and as many other cities as possible. Love your videos, Omar.
Where did you get the awesome image on the back of your laptop? I assume it is some sort of sticker or decal?
Love this project. So cool.
Excellent project - most inspiring🙏🙏🙏, superb photos❤
I sliced you off this like. Hey?

Thank you for the review. I am drooling. I think the best I can do is to rent one unless I hit the lottery.
Very nice images Omar !

Love the prints? Do you print on some sort of a board?
Styrene board back
Do you have all the photos posted somewhere?
Would be fun to play with the 100mps'.
I would take that exact setup and see how much insane feather detail I could get on some ordinary city birds
Slices, slices, so many slices 🙂
I'd take arm's length selfies in terrible light, then photos of my dinner because Instagram is the Holy Grail for photographers
Which is better Fujifilm GFX 100S II vs x2d?
That is beautiful, please teach us :o
You are so creative and talented......and funny as h*ll.
How did you like the camera?
no slice of pizza ? and to think I gave you a thumbs up... of course I'm only 5:11 in... oops 7:50... got the pizza in...
Bravo. We need more contents about photography rather than sharpness.
I just failed my eye exam. Do I need 100 mega pixels?

Literally just finished another video of yours on Sony a7c lol
Dope camera... Too expensive and actually been buying lower and lower megapixel cameras since I had the 60mp PhaseOne backs for my Mamiya Medium format bodies. 33 megapixel is just the sweet spot for me. But that is an amazing camera.
I own the gfx 100ii and it blows away my Nikon z8 for portraits
You're quite versatile with a camera. You could also be a physicist or cosmologist. Imagine applying your skill turning some graphs around until they match their desired data.
That lens is bigger than you, Omar!!
Hi Omar. When you put a photo up on the screen, please can you move the pointer off to the side. it's a bit annoying in the middle. Thank you Omar.
Sorry Omar, the Beatles beat ya to it with their red and blue album covers 🤣🤣 but you are better at it. Errrrrrr ummmm are the Beatles making a come back with your work?
Who is Oscar?
You remind me of the mummy actor in your thumbnail😅
Omar, not just a pretty face! lol those are def. hangable
That’s not a zoom lens.
are you actually going to talk about the camera
Another paid review then?
Not paid. And cameras were loaners.
