We hope this video sheds some light on beautiful Carson City.
Carson's a great place to be.
So much close around, no matter what your interests are.
Open spaces, fresh air, sunshine, snow and so much to do.....I enjoyed it... And a great efficient DMV.
#1: *Weather*
IF IT ISN'T RAINING
AND IT ISN'T SNOWING
THEN THE *WIND* IS BLOWING!
Just like my home in Wyoming!
I live in Gardnerville, off the famous Mottsville Ln, Have a business in Carson City for the past 20 years, It’s for retired people mostly, its quiet and gorgeous scenery, Not made for teens or young adults, but a great place to raise children. 👍
You're not wrong at all. The clientele that are moving to CC or Nor.Nev are like minded folks and are over the taxes and politics CA has been placing on them.
I’m a young adult I absolutely love it there! I can’t wait to live there. I’m outdoors guy anyways so far I love the quiet and less people.
Informative videos guys 👏 Im retiring next year and Carson city is top 3 on my list of cities to retire to. If you don't mind, can you elaborate more about the wind. Is it only during certain months? Is it windy all day or at certain times of the day only? Which months are more windy and which months are less windy. And when you say windy, are you talking about a breeze or stronger? Thanks guys keep up the great content that keeps the viewers tuned in 👍
It is a great city to retire in!!! The wind is definitely a breeze with higher gusts at times. The higher gusts are not something you deal with on a daily basis, but being in a valley it will occur on occasion.
I was born 1966 The old Carson Tahoe hospital, and raised in Carson City, Nevada. My home address was 2420 Lewis. I planted the tree on the side of the house.
We can't stand gruesome Newsom!
Same!!!!
Can you commute well to Reno for work in the winter? Difficult I assume?
Commuting to Reno during the Winter isn't really ever an issue. There may be a couple storms a year that would delay the commute, but nothing like Tahoe snow.
Bold move gentlemen. Many of those cons were pros for me. Good production quality of the video.
You just mentioned the five pros of living in Carson City.
Nailed it!!
What about the DMV?
Typically, Carson City's DMV is a breeze. I'd still recommend setting up an appointment prior to heading there.
1. Pretty much true (they just have bars and casinos.. I want rollercoasters and stuff like that available anytime, not occasionally/eventually).
2. I don't know if that's much of a factor, that's something more political and personal/subjective.
3. Meh, I don't really think about the number of schools. I mean, it is a small city, so I think it just makes sense. Idk I never thought about this point.
4. (I have no say in this)
5. I know there's people who don't like (crazy) weathers, so that can be a con to them. I'll give it that.
But
I still stand my case that Carson City is boring. Personally, anyway.
Any Jr College or Adult Ed? Wineries? I have a lot of interests :D Senior Communities? I am thinking about relocating from Bay Area (I do blame Gavin) and have been considering renting for a few months. Just to see... Do you have recommendations on prop mgmt companies with small short term rentals?
Hey Julie, please reach out to us directly. We’d love to chat about everything you mentioned above.
yay famous ppl cae to my town :333
I'm from the bay area, ca and thinking about moving to Carson city. I would say the economy and politics pushed me out so i like that carson city is more conservative. Hoping to visit this summer
Give us a shout when you head out this way. We'd love to help!!
I'm sorry but Californian's face a lot of bullying and discrimination here. I was denied housing , harassed by police, and struggled with bigoted coworkers . We are leaving
@angelialeal8832 We just went there for Labor Day weekend and everyone we met (locals) there was very nice to us even after we told them we were from the Bay Area.
@@angelialeal8832The natives welcome me from open arms. However I was able to be openly conservative and was accepted for that. I’ve meet a lot of ex cali people too that told me to come by. These guys and all the realtors are always ready to help me.
Please stay in the gay area
Lol 60k people small town. 50k in western Australia is considered a city
yeah,yeah......yeah,yeah. heard enough, yeah
Great comment John.
Why did you list conservative a con? Have you been to Frisco or Sac where I currently live? NUFF said!
Definitely agree with you and not a con in our eyes. Just pointing out some facts.
As someone who is moving from CA to NV to escape big govt, point no 2 shouldnt be in this video.
Which one was point #2?
Bigoted and behind the times.
Interesting
I agree completely. It is the type of community where the law enforcement views the public as the "enemy".
@@douglasdowns4846 so basically any police department that’s in any metropolitan area of 2024…😂😂
the “guys” choice of words….we are women who have money and want real estate. Being called “guys”…..we don’t call you guys “girls”. Just an FYI. Saying it with love.
Thank you.
Who the hell cares?
😂😂🤡 You definitely don't belong in carson city with that kind of fragility ... Sweetheart 😂😂
