We lived in Reno for 7 years and no doubt lake tahoe is beautiful but I think for transparency you should not imply that accessing the lake is so convenient and easy. As you know if you are not at Sand Harbor for instance by 8am in the summer the parking is full for most likely rest of daylight hours. Learned this quickly after driving from south Reno for 40 minutes at 9:30 am just to have to go back home with my kids. Way overcrowded and such........
Good morning! I definitely agree, but access the lake from Minden is very different than accessing it from Reno. I do address that exact thing in a couple of my earlier videos. Sand Harbor is a whole different situation than many of the other beaches on the lake. Sorry you had such a bad experience!

Hi! It's never been an issue for me. There are numerous ski resorts in the area and various ways to get to them. I would say that some of the parking lots fill up quickly so getting there early seems to help.

Jen whats the drive like on weekend to ski resorts. Wondering if traffic is like SLC to the ski resorts.
