WX958 powder coat machine Last for sure Update

I've had my wx958 for a year and am just now hooking it up for myself to use because my son does powder coating for a side business. My hoses are misplumbed too. Thanks for the clarification I'll plumb mine correctly now and start using it for mostly small parts and let his pro-gun alone.

I picked up a slightly different/newer model. Did you ground the machine(via the wire on the back) to an earth ground, Like a copper rod in the ground, or to the booth/rack you are spraying on? My unit worked for the air test and then stopped pushing air to the gun.

@@endeavortrikes so just to clarify, when it is plugged into the wall, that ground is sufficient for the machine and the small cable with the alligator clip off of the back goes to the part being coated? If there is no point on the part to ground to do you ground to the rack itself?
Not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand the machine.
