(They got a power that make every descendent inherit the experience and power of their ancestor, which make every new Belmont stronger)

Alucard while toying with him was also getting impressed by Trevor. It was a decent way of showing how outmatched Trevor was yet extremely dangerous at the same time.

FACTS, Trevor was willing take Alucard down with him if it came down to it...
I wouldn't say he was outclassed in terms of the whip vs sword. But in the sword vs sword fight he was. Alucard's stable weapon has always been the sword so it makes sense that he would be better with it.

When Alucard did his shadow-teleport strike, and Trevor caught the blade with a counter, Alucard observed his movement in a split second. He knows Trevor is dangerous and a true blue Belmont. Few other humans can fight vampires hand-to-hand like that.

what does sakuga mean? ive seen it on some fighting amvs, but dont know the meaning
@@namekman01 Sakuga is a Japanese term used to denote the moment when the quality of production increases dramatically for a moment. In animation it shows when the animation seems to flow differently or in different frame rates like here when they begin to fight you can see the difference in the choreography and movement compared to before they fought and were just arguing. Usually this happens because a specific animator is given freedom to show how they would like something to move. This fight scene specificly was animated by Spencer Wan and Sam Deats, Spencer is the one who animated the cool animated opening for this show in the first season

@@namekman01 anime is notorious for using this, particularly Shonen series, you can look up specific animators like Yutaka Nakamura or Naotoshi Shida and you can tell how there animation differs from the rest of the show they worked on, think you'll get the full grasp on how to point out Sakuga
@@mjkhan9664 i was aware there are moments when the animation was better than usual, i just never knew that there was a name for it, even though, weirdly enough, i knew the name, just not that 'it was for it'
That "spinning" move by Alucard at 0:44 is what got me hooked on this show, easily watched this scene 5 times in a row

It's how you're supposed to do it. Historically. If you hold the sword in one hand, and no shield/parrying dagger in the other, you want it out of the way. Behind your back, on your hip, on your chest (or acting as a counterbalance, if you lounge with a thrusting sword).
It's a accurate style for one handed short sword. Givin it's a long sword but hey magic vampire Jesus has a magic sword that doesn't need two hands to balance.

Now i under Trevor fight style again. He is designed to keep and control the distance between demon, monster and vampire with his weapons.
I like how Trevor always took advantage of immotals' mindset. They jumped to conclusion that a human wouldn't put his life in danger to lure them in. He was completely outclassed by Alucard and Death, but in the end, he was still one step closer to victory. This dude fought like a Belmont and won like a drunkard.

I love how there are little tells that Alucard isn't really pushing. The swipe at Trevor's face followed by a withdrawal & another slash instead of pressing the advantage while Trevor was off balance, casually, turning his back & doing spin attacks, etc.
Meanwhile, every swipe trevor takes is aimed directly at Alucard and he presses every advantage he gets.
Yes! And the one hand behind back really shows he’s holding back even for audience who’re not watching too closely.
Alucard does take some.hits, and imy favorite part is when he really puts his back into pushing down the sword against Belmont

The vampire killer whip doesnt just obliterate night creatures, it has an even stronger effect on those directly related to Dracula, as part of it's curse.
The Vampire Killer's effect is severely diminished by Alucard's human side. Even though he's the son of Dracula, the whip just isn't that effective against him; not like Dracula...whom the whip is specifically empowered to destroy; along w/ any creatures/entities that side w/ him.

It’s worth noting that Trevor did this without any upgraded gear that he gets later on. If he wasn’t so drunk all the time I think he would’ve been a match for Dracula all on his own
When it’s looking like an apocalypse around you being just a little drunk helps take the edge off.

I really don't think so, the only reason Alucard could defeat Dracula was cuz he softened up. Dracula was more powerful than the three of them combined in their fight in season 2

Am i the only one who thinks that dracula was given injustice. His wife was killed, his son betrayed him, some morally questionable vampire hunter gets the girl, kills him and lives happily ever after. Even those church people did not get punished.

This is late but Dracula was a literal monster to humans for hundreds of thousands of years… he impaled people and let his generals do whatever they wanted in their own regions. Just because Dracula found love and decided to turn good for 3 months doesn’t mean humans should forget him killing their friends and family while having a smile on his face 💀

Even if you needed to cut this up more, these cuts are poorly placed; they're ruining the best moments of the fight. The flow of the initial insult trading at the beginning, Trevor's using a dagger to force Alucard into the air where he can't dodge his whip maneuver, Alucard catching and removing the whip from play to force Trevor into a swordfight, etc.

The only thing I had a problem with in this show is that it doesn’t explain vampire nature like if their undead or living evolved predator until season 4 and that they didn’t what type of evolution it was
That's not a problem, you don't need to know any of that. They're vampires, that's all you need to know. They do vampire shit like fly and drink blood.
Yeah, considering that enough bodily damage can kill a vampire, it was pretty clear they weren’t undead. Sure, decapitation or a stake through the heart tends to be the cleanest methods, but you rip their throat out, or cave in their skull, they’re not exactly getting back up again.

If Castlevania's vampires are anything like other media vampires, Alucard ought to have the reflex time to simply block a blow and then split Trevor in half before he can even pull his sword back. He really is just toying with him the whole time.
Trevor is a Belmont, idk but in the game Belmont are not ordinary human, I mean from Leon to Trevor they Belmont has no magic at all, they probably only has enhanced strength and incredible combat skill until Trevor married sypha, Trevor's descendants have magic power within them.

Alucard could easily have killed Trevor at at least two points, but he 1. batted him away and 2. laughed at something Trevor said instead of murdering him. Alucard was also basically dancing around Trevor's whip strikes without any signs of aggression. The only points where Alucard was really on the defensive were 1. Trevor's very first whip attack, and 2. when Trevor slammed him through the air with the whip.
As for the second comment. I didn't know Trevor killed Dracula, you could have started with that.

That is one of the few things that bother me in the series (i loved it). It is very common that when two main protagonist fights it must end in some kind of a draw. It strikes me as a bit of cowardice from the writer. I would love the fight if Alucard or Trevor won without discussion.
Eh, it's a fair compromise to say all party members are starting in relatively equal grounds while giving them each a moment to shine
More so than cowardice, to have one win either leads to the other one-upping them or to the narrative heavily shifting on someone's favor, so it's more like setting a standard for who they are

The Castlevania games been around since1987. I grew up playing them the story plot was awesome. The anime series is perfect however my only issue is that Simon is the most notable and strongest of the belmont family. I really wanted to see his timeline in the anime series what a disappointment to ne personally.
