While the show seems to show Alucard as a bit juvenile, canonically, he's almost always been emotionally distant, pessimistic and pragmatic. He's not some angsty teen but a broken man who's mother was unjustly burned at the stake leaving him with a mistrust of humans and his own father. Alucard's always had it rough which explains his stoicism.
Well, he's only 20 years old here. He hasn't had the chance to fully digest what's happened to his family because his focus after his mother's death was to stop his father. Only after he achieved that goal did those emotions finally hit him.
Well, you have to remember that in the timeline of this show, he literally cannot be older than twenty. By SotN, he's over 300 years old, and a lot more mature.
In Symphony, not only is he still most likely haunted by his father’s death at his hands, but Trevor and Sypha are also dead. His seemingly depressed demeanor in that game makes sense.

If you're male, you'll know spreading your legs slightly causes your trousers to become taught. This means it will become much harder to hit your balls.
Tall, long blonde hair, golden eyes, can turn into a big dog, mad sword skills and daddy issues? Alucard and Sesshomaru have the same energy and you can't convince me otherwise.
Love her or hate her, Sypha always be spitting facts. Especially about Alucard being basically a teenager. -Starts long conversations about people he claims to hate and not care about which proves the opposite being true (aka Trevor) -Shits on them every chance he gets (Alucard flipping Trevor off on his way) -Acting anti-social around the two but missing them hard when alone (Alucard’s dolls) -Son rebelling against parental authority -Mama’s boy -The traits of people he really cares about rubbing off on him (“Oh my god… I’m becoming Belmont”)
Love all the Symphony of the night references that Season 2 had. Slobra and Gobra together, the Sega Saturn version of 'bloody tears', his sword acting like the sword summon, wolf transformation, the castle design... Three might have been the main influence but so great to see SOTN get the love it deserves
Logical theories which I thought of, 1. Dracula's cape is one of the reasons why people can't hear him moving, it absorbs the sound of his footsteps. 2. Alucard's life might just another repetition of Dracula himself, but half human. (Season 3 ending sort of gives it) 3. Alucard is way too mature for a teenager, which is impressive. 4. Dracula wanted to die to get back to his wife, but he didn't want his son to kill him and take the pain of it.
No. He had his legs slightly spread. It makes your trousers go taught making it MUCH harder to injure your balls. Also, Trevor didn't hit him very hard.
I still wanna know why when Trevor asked "did you hear that?" Alucard's mind went immediately to animals HUMPING IN THE UNDERGROWTH. XD Dammit Alucard, get your head out of the gutter! Also gotta love the fight scene with Alucard, Trevor, and Sypha storming the castle lol. Alucard transforming into a wolf and tearing Dracula's army to shreds is so badass! Gotta remind 'em that they're dealing with the son of Dracula! Even being only half-vampire Alucard is still easily stronger than most full-blooded vampires.
HeavyHandedDame I had that same thought whenever at least two of them were on the screen within ten seconds of each other Trevor and Sypha need to go home and comfort their boyfriend, dammit
What helps keep Alucard fresh is that he acts blasè about his clear issues instead of talking or referencing it all the time, and that his tone is always deadpan, which also belies that he is in fact a teenager. He certainly inherited his father’s relatively calm demeanor.
Alucard vs. Dracula, looking back at it, was probably a pretty big inspiration for the Omni Man vs. Invincible scene in Invincible, at least as far as adapting the scene for television was concerned, because I get the same kind of vibes of "standing up to your dad who is trying to conquer the earth, and getting your shit absolutely rocked, but still fighting and getting back up anyway because you care about humanity"
That's definitely gonna be in the best of Dracula. Like his whole monologue after he realizes he's in his son's childhood room is for sure gonna be in it
Why do Trevor and Alucard have *that* dynamic. Like, sometimes I’m waiting for them to kiss, and sometimes I’m waiting for one of them to kill the other
"Its the magical door of Death, Belmont." -- That bit of pep coated in sarcasm always gives me a chuckle Ok you got me @ 4:06 that made me burst with laughter at Alucard's face and the text
1. Didn’t have the time to mourn the death of his mother before being injured by his father for going against his revenge suicide agenda. 2. Chose to save humans despite: (a) his mother being killed by humans, and (b) him having to kill his father to put an end to the war. 3. Killed his father while he is in the state of remembering him as his son and feeling guilty for almost killing his only child. 4. Stopped the war but was left alone by his two friends because they wanted to go have an adventure. You’d think with all those books and knowledge around them, they’d have found a way to like seal or somehow protect the Belmont hold and Dracula’s keep with something. And then go in an adventure WITH ALUCARD instead of leaving him alone to get depressed by himself.
I wondered what Alucard meant when he referred to the Belmont Hold as a "tip", so I looked it up. Apparently in England, a tip was another word for a rubbish pit or a junkyard. So, he's basically calling Trevor's family trove a dump!
@3:13 “Well, I do have questions about Trevor ancestors. I discover an entire boxes of spells about… penises.“ “You’re certain it was one his ancestors? You didn’t find it under his childhood bed?” 🤣🤣💀
I love that Alucard and Dracula, when they're brawling don't focus alot on blocks or slips. Really only punches, which I wonder if that's because they're so physically strong they never really had a need to defend empty hand attacks.
6:16 I love how both Alucard and Sypha are all riled up and Trevor is just there, existing and silently screaming:"Lets get this shitfest over with already."
When Alucard was names off a list of Trevor's "misgivings", it almost sounded like he was giving Sypha reasons for her to dislike the poor hunter so she'd favor him more.

If you're male, you'll know spreading your legs slightly causes your trousers to become taught. This means it will become much harder to hit your balls.

Vampires appear to have extremely high blunt resistance, judging by how much Alucard and Dracula could punch the shit out of each other
Tall, long blonde hair, golden eyes, can turn into a big dog, mad sword skills and daddy issues? Alucard and Sesshomaru have the same energy and you can't convince me otherwise.
Omg you're so right I can see the similarities but sesshomaru had beautiful gray hair.
AbigailFantail #NZ no one really knows the og sesshomaru it was refreshing to see this comment
@@menenmae gotta love that silver hair🤤🥰
AbigailFantail #NZ yes he rocked it so well. He's drip is unmatched
I agree wholeheartedly with this statement.
Love her or hate her, Sypha always be spitting facts. Especially about Alucard being basically a teenager.
-Starts long conversations about people he claims to hate and not care about which proves the opposite being true (aka Trevor)
-Shits on them every chance he gets (Alucard flipping Trevor off on his way)
-Acting anti-social around the two but missing them hard when alone (Alucard’s dolls)
-Son rebelling against parental authority
-Mama’s boy
-The traits of people he really cares about rubbing off on him (“Oh my god… I’m becoming Belmont”)
Love all the Symphony of the night references that Season 2 had. Slobra and Gobra together, the Sega Saturn version of 'bloody tears', his sword acting like the sword summon, wolf transformation, the castle design... Three might have been the main influence but so great to see SOTN get the love it deserves
what happens when you play a remaster with some dodgy localisation lol Nothing to be sorry about dude :)
@The Void I thought they were called Bimmy and Jimmy?
Logical theories which I thought of,
1. Dracula's cape is one of the reasons why people can't hear him moving, it absorbs the sound of his footsteps.
2. Alucard's life might just another repetition of Dracula himself, but half human. (Season 3 ending sort of gives it)
3. Alucard is way too mature for a teenager, which is impressive.
4. Dracula wanted to die to get back to his wife, but he didn't want his son to kill him and take the pain of it.
The first point makes a whole lot of sense now that I think about it. Plus it might have a bit of sentience like Dr Strange's Cloak of Levitation.
Adrian had to mature, he forced himself to grow up.
He’s a vampire with a human conscience.
Alucard: But you know that "terok" means "of death", right?
Trevor: Shut up.
Alucard: (enjoying this) it's the magical door of death, Belmont!
If Bayonetta has taught me anything I believe it's Teloch not Terok
Alucard is a badass in whatever franchise he's a part of; 'nuff said.
Confirmed that he is immune to ball damage??
No. He had his legs slightly spread. It makes your trousers go taught making it MUCH harder to injure your balls. Also, Trevor didn't hit him very hard.
I bet he wouldn’t be immune if Dracula decided to kick his nuts
@@Calleseculo There's not a lot of people who WOULD be immune to any kind of strike to the crotch from Dracula.
Whenever I hear a weird random noise I immediately think "animals humping in the undergrowth." Alucard has ruined me.
I mean he is a teenager so...👀

I just realized that Sypha is like that one nanny/babysitter that has to endure a constant quarrel between a child and an angry teenager..
my gosh, the english voice acting gives me the feeling that they are just whispering! XD
I wouldn’t say it was terrible but I totally agree, they sound like they were mumbling and whispering most of the time

It's adorable how Trevor and Alucard bicker like siblings trying one up each other all the time. It's an incredibly believable love hate relationship
8:21 Alucard out here spitting facts.
"Its the magical door of death, Belmont..."
Alucard is classy, yet cheeky. I loved this version of him XD
Ok so but high key he and Trevor have so much chemistry (who was the one talking about and aggravating Trevor so much, again?).
Bruh, when Trevor and Alucard had there first fight and Alucard grabbed him at the end, the only thought running through my head was "Now kiss! Mwah😗!

0:52 Sypha was so done with those two. 🤣
What helps keep Alucard fresh is that he acts blasè about his clear issues instead of talking or referencing it all the time, and that his tone is always deadpan, which also belies that he is in fact a teenager. He certainly inherited his father’s relatively calm demeanor.
THIS is the Alucard I know and love. I hope he finds himself again. They hurt him so much in Season 3. 😔
Sypha was just a mom DONE with her children's crap ALL of season 2 xD and I love her so much for it
0:14 will always be my favorite cut
No “I’m killing our boy, Lisa..”? Shameful. Unless that would be a best of Dracula clip.
That's definitely gonna be in the best of Dracula. Like his whole monologue after he realizes he's in his son's childhood room is for sure gonna be in it

Doggo of death
Jaimer Gamer best doggo. Floofy fur, and boopable snoot.
Why do Trevor and Alucard have *that* dynamic. Like, sometimes I’m waiting for them to kiss, and sometimes I’m waiting for one of them to kill the other
2:13
I love this scene
Sypha trying to impress Alucard that she has lots of ancient magic knowledge and Alucard finding every way to taunt Trevor.
"Its the magical door of Death, Belmont." -- That bit of pep coated in sarcasm always gives me a chuckle
Ok you got me @ 4:06 that made me burst with laughter at Alucard's face and the text
the scene in alucards bedroom killed me.
There is no best of Alucard for season 3 because all that happened was he got screwed over metaphorically and literally :(
"Alucard are you for this" "No, but let's put and end to this"
Me right before a test 😂
The GOAT had to come back and save season 5 and Richter. Defeated that vampire lady as if she was nothing but a fly on the wall.
I love these characters. Breaking them up for season 3 was a mistake.
That face literally was "I beg your pardon!?"
Poor Alucard. Trevor and Sypha need to come back and/or take him with them. Don't leave him alone anymore :(
Or sleep for next centuries until SOTN.
@@martmandred9182 yes it would be kinder if they let him sleep after the Dracula fight
When Alucard turns into a wolf he looks a lot with Kiba from Wolf's Rain
True!!
Omg
I wondered what Alucard meant when he referred to the Belmont Hold as a "tip", so I looked it up. Apparently in England, a tip was another word for a rubbish pit or a junkyard. So, he's basically calling Trevor's family trove a dump!
@3:13
“Well, I do have questions about Trevor ancestors. I discover an entire boxes of spells about… penises.“
“You’re certain it was one his ancestors? You didn’t find it under his childhood bed?”
🤣🤣💀
I love that Alucard and Dracula, when they're brawling don't focus alot on blocks or slips. Really only punches, which I wonder if that's because they're so physically strong they never really had a need to defend empty hand attacks.
6:16 I love how both Alucard and Sypha are all riled up and Trevor is just there, existing and silently screaming:"Lets get this shitfest over with already."
He sounds like Markiplier doing world's quietest lets play
Of what game? SotN? ;)
"Come on, Belmont! Time to choose! You're either the last son of a warrior dynasty or a lucky drunk! Which is it?!"

My reaction to Alucard's nutshot: "Vampire's got nards!"
How else do you think Adrian exists.
The fight scenes are amazing
When Alucard was names off a list of Trevor's "misgivings", it almost sounded like he was giving Sypha reasons for her to dislike the poor hunter so she'd favor him more.
