Spoiler alert... I do briefly show the fix in an upcoming video, and you guessed it, welded a nut to the top of that leg! Had to find a ACME nut. They are pricey, but less expensive than replacing the entire landing gear!
Thank you! We took it on our first trip last week, and we were able to bring all of the machines, our luggage, spare parts, and plenty of tools! (Video coming soon) It was 20 hours round-trip! The trailer performed perfectly. We ended up breaking a SXS while we were out there, so we had to use tools, and got the machine fixed up and back out on the trails! None of this would have been possible without this trailer! Thank you so much for watching!
We're really excited to take it on some more trips. This trailer has really expanded our horizons, and we're looking into new places for 2025! Not to mention, riding in just one vehicle with all your buddies is much better than each person taking their own vehicle!
You can weld up/build up the stripped threads then tap it or weld in a captured nut to fix that landing gear.
I was wondering if that was going to end up being the solution.

@@3DayWeekend cool thing about rampover trailers is all the real estate under the ramps for tool boxes, water/fuel tanks etc...
tHanks for the video. Pretty cool how you are no longer limited .....you can haul everything and the kitchen sink.
