This video is well over 2 years old. 2 years ago I was easily averaging $40 an hour. Now I make $30 an hour in LA, and that’s with bonuses included and using both Uber and Lyft. The rates have been almost cut in half and it’s way more drivers now, which makes it slower for business, but you can still make a nice chunk

Hello there! I ve been out of the country last 12 years. My driver licence expired 10 years ago. I am coming back to state and my old driver licence clean and 12 years of driving experience in the past. Am I eligiable for uber drive after renew my driver licence? Or do I need 1 year after renew my driver licence. Thank you 🙏
Don't come back to Cali to drive Uber full-time, part time yes they need lot of drivers, they get you up and running asap, but can deactivate asap too

In the Uber app you have uber eats and uberx options. Because of covid Uber removed the ride share feature
So am I able to add rideshare anymore or would I need to reapply?
no more rideshare for now they will add it in the app along with ubereats and uberx options if they decide to add it again. I don’t miss rideshare it was a pain sometimes, I rather just give rides per account.
I would call Uber support and they should help you with the switch.

You have to drive 10 miles alway to pick up a riders for 19 dollars no way. Stop driving and support strike new drivers

Hi I already drive for Uberx with a 2008 prius (Orange county CA) . I want to change my car and move onto the next category like uber comfort or uber suv so that I drive less for more money. (Because I drive full time about 200 to 300 miles a day 5 days a week and it is tiring). Any suggestions?
I found UberX is the best sometimes I will get comfort calls but mostly uberX. I made few days ago $50 an hour doing Uberx. Made $315 for 6.5 hours.
Its a good time yes and the mornings Uber has surging prices in certain areas with shortage of drivers. Right this minute im taking a lunch break and made $50 for 1.5 hours of driving. $200 in about 6-8 hours. I have made $50 hour last week. $320 in 6.5 hours of driving. Great day!

@@MarcMancuso8 I drive for uberX in Seattle full time. Work like 8-10 hours and We got paid like $1.33/mile _ 0.55 cent/ minute. I make 350 sometimes 400 on weekends. And I heard uber drivers in Seattle got paid the most across all states. but I’m trying to move to LA cause I got tired of the cold, gloomy and nonstop rains lol. I wonder if I can make 300 a day? Your suggestion will be helpful, thanks.

@@Westcoast-qu6cl That’s awesome! Last week i made $320 for 6.5 hours which is close to $50 an hour. Other times close to $40 an hour. in LA is a great time too to drive the fairs are higher then normal from a shortage of drivers. I drive about 4-6 hours usually but if i drove for 8-10 hours i could see earning about $300-400.
Lol they have bonuses going on because of the shitty news about them going around...its not a bonus, its Paying there drivers back from underpaying them for years....look it up people!!
Ac nd it's not 40 per hour when u factor in future car maintenance, gas, and many other expenses...

@@MarcMancuso8 so you're telling me that me as a nurse making $26 an hour is less than uber? I've watched a lot of uber driver reviews and none of them showed up to be the wage you're suggesting. I havent driven uber myself yet but it just seems the odds are stocked against your claim.
It seems like you got $43 based off of promotions/bonuses(as you mention yourselves in the video, hence my saying it isnt very consistent.) that are available to new drivers or are very inconsistent limited time offers. Please tell me if I'm wrong.
@@surviver5738 Yes if you put in the hours. I take snapshots of each ride and my total earnings. Seeing is believing. Image are worth 1000 words.
@@surviver5738 Nurses work long hours but if you drive as many hours as a nurse you could pull in $300 day for 10 hours of work. Pretty consistently i make net $120 for 4 - 4.5 hours.
