I really enjoyed this video, seeing places I will never visit. I like how calm it was and showing us skid row.The people in charge seem to spend more on the trees than the people in need.
Man, I wish I could do bike deliveries in my town...but pretty much all I have seen are a few scooters vs the usual cars....at least you are able to do it in your town:)
Lol skid row 😂 no actually not bad compared to the tents that were out there before , I guess they cleaned up a little bit. 11:11 are angel numbers. You’re being protected in your travels 😊
you should reach out and post how your securing the food so it does not spill, this is the constant challenge for bike delivery with food, but I don't think putting the food on your back is a long term solution, (not with orders that can weigh up to 6lbs sometimes)
That was just rude of them to sideline him like that. I once went to the drive thru to pickup a combo meal for someone, they made me come in, had me wait 20 minutes all because I was doordash.
Considering how long you waited for that 1st starbucks order, I wouldn't have accepted the second one for $1.50. You risk the 1st customer giving you a bad rating for taking too long.
Hey man. Just checked your video out. Do you have a hard time picking up orders in DTLA area? Are people more likely to accept drivers as opposed people on bikes? I just started Uber eats on a bike and I’ve been noticing a lack of orders. Any info is appreciated, thank you!
As a guy from the Netherlands, it still feels weird to see the lack of bike paths in the US. I'd be annoyed if someone biked past me on the sidewalk, cause I wouldn't expect to have to watch out for anyone at that velocity. Also felt weird that you had to take the bike into all the restaurants and buildings, but I totally get not wanting to leave your bike out on the streets, especially if there are no bicycle racks to cpark them in, and chain them to.
Heyyy I just started delivering by any chance would you be up to do deliveres with me I just started haven’t gotten any deliveries in one day but I need some assistance to get orders :/
My brother locked his bike outside once and they stole his wheels lol I’m Santa Monica. He thought it would be fine, happened after his shift at work lol
Do you ever wish you had the ability to use a electric bike that would let you go further without pedaling, (like say 75 miles and do 6 to 8 hour shifts ? ) It is being done out there the problem is due to the bike's heavier weight, you really have to decide if it's worth taking it into buildings where some steps are involved, (you can do it because they have a ''walk mode'') but most of the time I just see the guys leave it outside the apartment complex or buildings when the're only gone for a few minutes anyway, You can find this type of bike for as low as 1700.00 with a 60 AMP battery and dual suspension, which might with the right extra straps and enhancements make it possible for the food to stay off your back all day and left on the rear rack while delivering and be a smooth enough ride in the back, the food and drink's won't spill. P.S. I know your strong and all, but don't you get tired of carrying the food on your back? (I think I would)
I bet in nicer buildings and frankly more profitable area's to work in West LA, Century City, Santa Monica, Brentwood Hills, Pacific Palisades, etc... your not allowed to bring a bike indoors, I bet security in those buildings like you often see with full time ''door persons '' in Manhattan, NY guard what's allowed and now allowed in, (tires bring dirt and maybe mud ) there are a handful of unique solutions for this with some Ebikes that lock the pedals with NFC cards or password assisted apps, but finding the right type that works food delivery would be a real challenge''
Well it’s downtown la. People know it would be gone by the time you came back even if it’s locked so the workers let it slide since there’s kinda no choice.
This is why i dont like doordash ro uber eats, By the time my stuff gets to me, its either frozen or melted. rather go get it myslef lol. people have become so lazy

lol, Starbucks needs to do better paying attrition to their Uber orders, but nice video 👍 I miss living in La so this triggered some good memories. xx
Also, yes, a revue mirror is a great idea for your bike 👍
that seemed like a long way to go for the taco el gavilan place especially in those rough areas from where you were in dtla!!

You're lucky to get approved for bike doordash. Are you in the US? I've been on a waiting list to get on doordash for awhile now..

weather looking very nice ,I think difficult to make money in there in LA

There are two jugglers in Goiania, Brazil who do intersection performances.

It actually doesn’t work like that. I’m a courier myself and the customer just sees that you’re waiting for them to make their order
Can I know what bag you are using for your deliveries ? I'm thinking of delivering on my e-bike soon !
I posted a link to the Delivery Bag I use in the product description box
"Love is..." That's the word.
I love you video man! But i have one question do you pay taxes if yes , how much ?????
15.3% is the usual for self-employed
could watch these videos for hours
You should check out the downtown New York delivery ones, (freaking dangerous work at times I feel for these guys getting it done to get by )

Stay safe bro and make that money
Great video!! which bag are you using and how do you secure it to your bike?
I just posted a link to the Delivery Bag I use in the product description.. I use it as a backpack so I don't attach it to my bike.
how much can u earn in a week, normally?
Are you on a regular bike or electric bicycle
I have both, but in this video its a regular bike

Don't leave your bike alone ever! In LA.

Heyyy I just started delivering by any chance would you be up to do deliveres with me I just started haven’t gotten any deliveries in one day but I need some assistance to get orders :/
How do you take care of your bike when you can't bring it inside?
I have 2 locks stored in my front bag, plus an alarm & hidden GPS. I have yet to lock my bike outside since I started doing this gig though.
@@BikerLA Nice.
@@BikerLA Do take care of your bike man. Unfortunately I learned the hard way which is why I resorted to using a kick scooter instead.

So your mileage stuff, it's just how far or close the business is from you, right? Then you find out how far away the order is going later, right?
The mileage shown is the 'total distance' --to the restaurant which is usually very closeby, and then to the drop off destination..
@@BikerLA ok thanks for the quick reply and clarification:)
Man, get exercise and get paid for it.

Do you think it’s worth using a metro bike?
