Can't believe your blessing us with two reviews this week..you guys are the best!!
It's like Christmas, but with two Santa Clause's.
You guys are honestly the best movie reviewers on UA-cam. I'd say you guys even surpass Red Letter Media when it comes to movie commentary. You two work really well off each other, whether it's making jokes or arguing about a difference in opinion like with Sign review. You guys are able to deliver or popular, good, niche, or straight up awful movies, and you're never shamelessing trying to get views with reviewing specific movies that are popular at the moment, and you guys are even humble enough to not even say "press that subscribe button", you guys just know we will because of the good quality of your guys content. Keep it up, the videos are great

I watched all of these a year ago, and when I realized you guys were going through all of them, I knew I was in for some entertaining shit with the reviews. And you aren’t disappointing, thanks for the laughs. Just wait until the next one…
this series is really descending quickly in quality, besides of the monsters concept there is nothing interesting about it, you have to give credit to Gary and Iain for going through this movies and make an entertaining review out of this
Yeah anyone who hasn't ever watched this series I would only say watch the first film because the sequels are fucking awful
No no lol - it’s great cos the fading quality of the series is when these two gentlemen get even funnier. .A bit of a rant I wish I could articulate better - but lately (the last 2 years or so) there are lots of certain types of channels that are just lazy and they get so much attention - I don’t want to say what specifically, but suffice to say it’s 90% the work of others, 10% “WHAAAAT WOWWWWWWW ‘1thumbnail.. So this refreshing for lack of a better word. Plus, these guys are unique -their passion for film is obvious. Turn on the cam, and there’s it is - they’re friends, it’s natural and and it’s honest and interesting.. Seriously - been binging these reviews and you see it from the start - it just gets better, doesn’t it? Earned.

Brendan Hughes was in two other early 90's horror films. To die for, where he plays Vlad Tepes. Return to Horror High, where he plays an investigator or an actor... I'm not really sure. It's been awhile.
Harker looks like a Star Trek: Discovery era Klingon.

First the kill chants from the previous episode… now Ian’s roar followed by Iains. Honestly it started the moment I saw the boom mic.. they’re gonna see that and OH ok they noticed it and again? Really this… three times? My fiancée is in the shower and she knows. “Off the shelf?” It’s interesting I’m typing Yes here cos I’m laughing so hard I’m unable to say it, but her laughing in the shower and telling me to pause it and wait till she gets out… I love this channel. Edit: We both hear “roar” in the end …fight (bite) sequence. There’s a roar, and then he says “roar”. Oh man…
Bruce Payne, now there's a sign of quality if I've ever seen one.
A certain degree of quality, yes, but a sign nonetheless.

Loving these reviews guys, I've heard the quality really peaks at part 7 though
You have to love that hammering scene ... the nail goes absolutely nowhere and the actor holds up the piece of wood ... badly. Also, it would have taken years for them to get the damn church done if THAT was their speed.
Super weird his revolver "jammed" since they don't have a physical safety or any real way to have a mechanical failure. Either it was magic or the Sheriff forgot to load his gun...

Interesting point - a wolf; like most predatory creatures that feed off innards, will go for the stomach first. So the ribcage being exposed does point to a "wolf" kill. As opposed to another potentially identifying type of mark it could be. Harker was very likely not concerned with hiding the bodies because it pointed to X new drifter guy - the superstitious rubes would have naturally suspected Mr they call me the wander, I'm just passin' through. If it's a wolf kill, with suspicions already mounted upon Ian, Harker has leverage with the town (against the argument of his kidnapping by the kindly two we're supposed to root for) that Ian is in fact, dangerous. Since many will know by attending the show, the problem Ian's facing. It's not quite masterful, but it's not exactly as short sighted as some might think.
Now Bruce Payne has played a Warlock, a Vampire, a Werewolf (In a movie with Mario Peebles, and the Patsy Kensit) and a Lich (if anyone even saw the second D&D movie)
He's basicallly a walking Beastiary. Hell give him a spot in Fantastic Creatures and Where To Find them. He could play the lot at once. You might get more of an audience.
Love your reviews - how did the Howling franchise turn into this type of rubbish when the first one goes down as a werewolf classic. It's mind boggling.
Although the series is pretty bad it was a blast hearing both of your thoughts throughout.
After seein' the review I would say I love that you guys suffer for us watching these movies so we don't have to.

I actually bought a DVD double feature with Howling V-The Rebirth and Howling VI-The Freaks years ago!....not a bad movie,but I like 5 a lot better!
Anybody notice the cover is similar to the lost boys scene.
Oh no....another The Howling...? You are the best, Iain and Gary! what is this? Is this a movie? LOL
Not that it helps the quality of the film or anything but that boom mic would not be showing if the movie was matted correctly to 1:85-1 widescreen like in the cinemas (or indeed most dvd and bluray releases). This happened to many movies back in the VHS days when they often released cheap films in open matte format like this. So, not a mistake on the filmmakers part but instead a mistake by the distributer when making the VHS release and not panning and scanning the film for release (sometimes later re-transferred to dvd etc.)
I must admit, that along with part 2, this one is a really guilty pleasure of mine. They're the only ones I own apart from the original. It's just batshit crazy, and great fun - especially after a few vodkas!
I've known people who say this is their favourite of the series. What does that say about me? I wonder

I recently watch all 10 of the Hellraiser reviews. That's another series of films that just nose dived into shit. Can't wait for your review on the upcoming one!

Yeah, I've heard many say Howling VI is an improvement and uhh...well...if YOU think so, good for you. But for me, nah. I'm not seeing it. One slightly good thing I will say is the character Iain, only just because he shares the same name of an awesome guy we all know 😁I don't know how you guys do it, but man, sitting through these awful Howling sequels has to be a tough endure lol It's almost over boys, we're almost there lol Still a good review!

I remember being a kid and walking into Blockbuster Video and seeing this movie on the shelf. I remember how good the first one was and thought this would be epic! Wow, was I wrong 😑

This entire series is awful in my opinion. The first one was even disappointing to me as I saw it for the first time not long ago. It did not live up to the reputation IMO.

There is no worse movie in the Howling series than Howling 7. Howling 2-6 cannot hold a candle to how terrible it is.
