NFS Most Wanted 2005 should have earned a spot on this list. Large map, although the customization wasn't as deep as Underground, the police pursuits were a major part of the game's story and fun factor. Hopefully it didn't spark any controversy, but who doesn't like speeding along at 200+ MPH in a Ford GT, or Lamborghini Murcielago? I recently played through it again just to get all of the Blacklist cars, because of their unique modifications.
Ur Afail that's my only beef with carbon and most wanted. Driving in expensive ass cars like Lambos and Porches and GT's, and the cops made it worse for me. I prefer NFSU and NFSU2
Sebastian Freshco They can be easier to counter if you somewhat know how they "operate". Worst place for a cop to be in is perpendicular and close to you. Nitrous straight towards them and you become a heatseeking rocket. Easy bounty :). Taking a few turns can also help, they aren't very good at turns.
i think underground 2 was even better, than most wanted, but i agree with blur, in my opinion one of the most underrated games, I think its one of the best modern local coop games
+Markus Haluska Yes, yes it was. I still remember the pure, unadulterated satisfaction of winning the 24hr Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit race and winning the formula racer.

Burnout 3 is my favorite, but mostly because that was the first video game I ever played, back when It came out in 2004 I was 3 years old. Even though it's old I still play it to this day. Paradise earns 2nd on my list, because it's very creative in having an open world burnout game. Revenge and Burnout 2 tie for 3rd. As the games are both very fun, the crash events weren't as exiting as burnout 3 with the multipliers and crashbreakers and stuff like that. I never have played the other ones though, and if I ever get a PS3 (because ps4 dosnt play PS3 / PS2 games) I will try to get Burnout Dominator, I have heard that one is really fun too :D
@@relevantflapper9271 No. F1 2012 and 2013 are actually quite similar, but in 2013 you had better handling (the one from 2012 was slow and understeery as hell), better graphics, scenarios, you could do championships in Grand Prix mode, career mode was SLIGHTLY better, and of course there was classic mode with classic cars and tracks. However, if the physics are better than I remember; maybe I'll pull out Midnight Club 3 in a couple days and try it out again. It's been quite awhile. I've got such a massive mountain of games in my house that I am years behind now with games I need to catch up on... Like, seriously; it would probably take me 2 years at least to finish all the games I own and haven't beaten yet thanks to life and newer games coming around that distract me.
The Raging Gamer Yeah... that doesn't cut it with the plethora of racing games out there for me. At the time I could see that giving it more of a pass as there weren't many open-world racing games at the time, but now there are plenty of them... and I'd rather play one that actually handles and plays well. Considering racing physics is one of the very few things in a racing game that actually have impact on the gameplay. That's like saying GTAIV without anything other than the open-world and the races, it would be a fine game simply for the open-world, yet the physics were absolutely HORRIBLE. But oh well... that's of course you're opinion, but certainly not going to be a reason I will try that game.
Paradise is cool but it don't pack the thrills in every race like Burnout 3. I just bought Burnout Revenge recently and its not as thrilling as 3 either
This is gonna sound weird but I think that Burnout Revenge should have replaced Paradise. The Soundtrack was incredible, the Crash breakers were legendary and cool to look at, and the huge urge to get 100% completion to unlock all the cool cars and........the Revenge Racer.
Krevin Grard Any reason in particular? Everyone always talks about Takedown but Revenge is pretty dope. Is Takedown more popular because it's genuinely better or is it because it was such a big thing when it launched?
Nah man, that's not weird. What's weird is people loving Paradise. I can't wrap my head around it! Burnout should always be played in closed tracks with plenty of big turns to drift and not a lot of obstacles to avoid. WHY is it a good idea to force me to look at the map at the edge of my vision (like a Midnight Club game) while I'm going insanely fast in a Burnout game?? That's bananas, that's what!
+pathe02 I dont understand why people are always saying mw 2005 was the best nfs. The cutomization of u2 was better, especially the performance tuning. Only thing that u2 didnt have is daytime racing, cops and supersportcars
ISAF_ЯдZoR Might be, but to me it wasn't about customization. It was about the plot, the cars, the perfect mix of racing, free roaming and pursuits. the challenges. The fact that you HAD to have some absolutely EPIC chases in order to progress in the blacklist which is one thing I missed in all the subsequent and previous NFS games. I loved the map design (I'm pretty sure I still know most of it by heart) and it was a great year for exotic cars (murcielago, SLR, gallardo, porsche carrera GT, etc). which made it so awesome. Just my two cents though

I agree. Need For Speed Most Wanted is really good! You got 4 DLC-packs that you can buy. I haven't played the 2005 version yet, but I know that it exists.
TheF22a Gran Turismo was there from the start. It's attention to detail in every vehicle and the passion they use to make it authentic makes it the best.
1. Mario Kart 8- Got it at launch, already have 27 hours on it. It's amazing. 2. Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed- Just like it a little less than #1. 3. Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity- Extremely underrated, idk, I just really like the concept of it all. 4. Jak X: Combat Racing- I'm a huge Jak and Daxter fan so this one is pretty much obligatory. 5. Midnight Club: Dub Edition Remix- My favorite "realistic" racing game.
That's amazing staying power for Transformed that two years after its release you like it just a little less than MK8. Do you think in 6 months when the novelty of MK8 wears off, you'll feel the same?
I'm actually offended that Midnight Club was not mentioned. At the time, ANYBODY could differentiate the quality between Midnight Club and Need for Speed. Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition had a better drive engine, more car selection, a MUCH larger field of customization and.. most importantly.. some of the greatest Soundtracks to ever grace a video game period. Not some cheesy euro techno bullshit in the background, but actual songs. Good ones. Poo on you WatchMojo, i thought you were better than this.
Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005) was the best of the Need for Speed Series by far, good balance of story, customization, races, police chases, and car selection, plus the challenge mode made it a bit ahead of its time, but still among the best racing games ever made.
+DragonDew12 my problem with underground 1 was no free roam or cops, underground 2 had no cops and some really dumb AI (I won the final race by about 2 minutes), and carbon was just most wanted at night with a new idea or two that didn't work for me as well as it could have. Compared to now, yes, graphics from 2005 won't necessarily hold up (carbon looks just as bad), but there's more to games than looks in my opinion. Not saying you're wrong, I just disagree
+DragonDew12 not by much, it's also newer than most wanted. It should look better than most wanted. Like I said, I just didn't enjoy carbon as much, it just felt too limited in comparison to most wanted
Forza horizon are utter shit. why? Paid dlc for returning cars, handling and physics are unrealistic as fuck, focusing only to graphics not gameplay, and many more
Finally some recognition to GRID, great game, you could activate or deactivate driving assists for a more or less arcade experience, really good graphics for a 10 yo game and a lot of different categories of competition.
Idk, I still believe the 2005 Need for Speed Most Wanted is the best entry in the series. While Underground 2 had a lot more customization, the cop chases, blacklist and overall feel of Most Wanted tips the balance.
DOOMILES Man I remember when I got Burnout 3, it was almost my birthday and my father decided to take me to a game store so that I could decide personally, we actually bought the game used. I wasn't expecting anything great, I was excited, but I don't know, hadn't heard of that game before, and boy did I loved every minute of it, one of my favorite games of the PS2.
I agree burnout is an AMZING series, but the ONLY reason i like paradise more, is because I found out about it before 3.(and i like open world games better.)
FUCK!! I suspected at least midnight club 3 or LA on the list must instead we got freaking Mario Cart. Also it's not even in the honorable mention. I'm bitterly disappointed!

my favorite racing games where burnout 3 takedown & flatout. those where also the only ones i have played when i was younger, but then shooters engulfed my gaming life.
Really? No Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition?! That was undoubtedly one of the best street racing game at its time, with the deepest car customization there ever was! Even Blur and Wipeout got honourable mentions but not Midnight Club... I'm disappointed.
I find the Midnight Club series to be more enjoyable then most games on here. And the fact that GT4 is #1 blows my mind. I haven't played the newer ones, but GT4 always seemed stiff, as if it no car wanted to do anything remotely car-like. To me, Most Wanted'05 seemed far superior to GT4 in anyway, and yes, I know one is a simulator and the other is an arcade-like game, but still. And, yes, I have played GT4. When I didn't have MC3, GTA San Andreas, or Need for Speed Prostreet, I played GT4.
Patrick Turner I had MC3: DUB Edition Remix, NFS Undergrond 2, GT3: A-Spec and GT4 all on PS2, yet still think GT4 is the best of them, it might be that it's just not your style, but I have no idea what you meant by "as if it no car wanted to do anything remotely car-like", because it has far more realistic physics than any NFS games up until today.
Best racing games ever made: 1. Forza Horizon 2 2. Forza Motorsport 4 3. Forza Motorsport 5 4. Forza Horizon 5. Forza Motorsport 3 6. Need For Speed Underground 2 7. Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005) 8. GRID Autosport 9. Dirt 3 10. Midnight Club L.A. ______________ 11. Need For Speed Carbon 12. Need For Speed Underground 13. PGR 4 14. Forza Motorsport 2 15. PGR 3 16. Grid 17. Fuel 18. Dirt 2 19. F1 2013 20. F1 2012 21. Blur 22. Burnout Paradise 23. Dirt 24. Dirt Showdown 25. Race Driver 3
Seriously no midnight club 3 dub edition? That was one of the best racing games in my opinion... ssx shouldn't be on the list and dirt should have been on the list.
It may have been but a snowboarding game isn't a racing game... And if you wreck you lose in most racing games... Like driveclub if you hit a car or a wall you're pretty much screwed...
+Austin Lingle It's a race to the finish line, it's a racing game. Wether you drive, fly, run, skate, snowboard, ski, swim, drive a boat, etc, it's a racing game.
I disagree with that since ssx also gave you points from doing tricks so it wasn't all about racing... I had ssx 3 tricky that is no where near a racing game lmao...
To an extent. Sometimes you just wanna chill out & whip around the track in a GT-R, not worry about lap times or fuel conservation or any of that shit.
Sounds liek forza hoizon. Yes those can be fun. But the hardcore gameplay value of a racing sim is unbeatable. Yes, people play to have fun, but playing it gives you a close feeling to a real car on a track.
Aleck Heiner On the list? Yes, but number 1? No. As a guy who played all of the titles I have to say that it only tops the NFSU2 entry for the simple reason that despite both being arcade physics games, NFS feels sluggish while MC feels flowy and mental, especially on the third installment with it's mix of DNB and Rock soundtrack as well as Dancehall and Hip-hop sounds that are more calm and can help you concentrate. I'd go really focused on an exotic when "Like Glue" from Sean Paul played, but crashed a lot and had more agressive driving when "Pain" from Jimmy Eat World or "Little Sister" from Queens Of The Stone Age would play
The third one dissapointed me on the PSP, The lack of visual damage made it hard to know when the car was about to break down. At least the rest looked good.
Here's how it should go... 1. Gran Turismo 4 (GT 5 and 6 are both half-baked and suck) 2. Forza 4 3. Need For Speed: Underground 2 4. Midnight Club (Which ever one, they're all good) 5-10 All the other bullshit games on their list with the exception of SSX, it shouldn't even be on the list.
Split/Second is way overlooked and underrated. Unfortunately it was released within a week of Blur, and Blur got far more press inches. People chose one or the other, and chose Blur. I had both. Blur is good but Split/Second easily equal to it.
I have followed Need For Speed since the first game in 1994, and I have to disagree on NFSU2 being a great game, for a number of reasons: - NO COPS! - Rubberband AI - Most of the visual customization looks hideous (ugly aero parts, stereo systems, neon, spinnaz) and yet you're forced to buy all of this stuff to progress further in the game. It was fine back when 2F2F was a hot movie, but not anymore - The amount of product placement is ridiculous. Burger Kings, Best Buys, and whatnot are all over the game map. And worst of all is that the Cingular logo is part of your HUD. - The characters are all annoying or forgettable. Now it does have some surprisingly deep customization when it comes to tuning, and the physics engine is pretty good too I think. Both of those things are very important, so good job on that at least. However, I enjoyed the next game in the series a whole lot more (Need For Speed Most Wanted). It had less visual customization and tuning but the gameplay was a whole lot more fun with cops being around.
Brian Griffin If I did, I'd definitely enjoy it a lot more. That's my main problem with the game, which is why I'm a much bigger fan of NFSMW. I would also like it if visual customization were optional. The game may have lots of customization options, but I struggle to make a good looking car when you have to buy those ugly high-star kits to get a good enough visual rating to progress in the game. The lower-star kits look a lot better, since they're simpler and more streamlined.
I know. Especially midnight club 3, it had a way better customization options and a lot more cars, and even bikes. It's really annoying how midnight club gets no credit
Do video games really even need a story? I mean, stories can be great and all, but why can't people just play video games for the fun of it? Don't we play video games to have fun in the first place?
Actually , i preffered F-zero X over GX because i felt it was way harder , and mainly because of X cup , that was the SHIT! Randomly generated mostly HARDCORE tracks. Those were the days.
This list could have been divided into 2 further videos which i would suggest as Top 10 Track Racing Games Top 10 Street Racing Games That or another top 10 racing games in general would do there's so many more racing games out there you could cover
Street Racing Syndicate (2004) was the best one I've ever played. Although it took me almost 2 years to open the final stage of Nitro Xtreme. Last time I played it from nostalgia 3 weeks ago, I was done within 8 days.
split second velocity was a really good game, it was highly underrated mostly just because it was a Disney title, but even so it was one of my most favourite racing games ever, if you don't know what I’m talking about then you should go see for yourself
yeah I know, that's because it didn't do to well because modern warfare 2 came out a couple of months before it and kids were still going crazy over that :(
You understand they aren't comparing the games right? They have chosen these games because they are different in their own way, not because they are comparable
Gran Turismo 4 deserved to be number 1. It's a modern classic basically. Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed would have been decent if it weren't for one thing: Sonic.
The original Need For Speed was amazing when it came out. She didn't age well compared to what's out now but it was fun as hell. Looked so "real" compared to others
MrGamer I like it because ofthe soundtrack, MW sounds like noisy trash to me (i know thats subjective af), also MW is an orange bloomy blurry mess while Underground is night with bright lights and neon glow. And in underground you can drive in a rainy night while listening to riders of the storm. that was the best.
the UG2 is out there because the game feel it gives (yet i find hot pursuit and the run has the best game feel of them all. hot pursuit for the zonda and the run for the M3) UG2 is much much larger then most wanted.
Yeah, burnout paradise has great crash physics, but it has a gigantic variety of cars, multiple DLC car packs(including hot rods, motorcycles, trucks, police cars, famous movie cars, and great looking cars), 2 locations, and the game would take forever to complete. The game has so many different kinds of events, so many locations for races to take place. The soundtrack is amazing, especially the main song, Guns n' Roses-Paradise City. The online system was set up pretty well, the host creates a game and waits for people to join, he can either choose to free roam with the other players or start events for everyone to compete in. This game has so much for a game coming out in 2008.
Where the Midnight Club franchise
The franchise was the best when I was growing up I hope they remaster the games

This is gonna sound weird but I think that Burnout Revenge should have replaced Paradise. The Soundtrack was incredible, the Crash breakers were legendary and cool to look at, and the huge urge to get 100% completion to unlock all the cool cars and........the Revenge Racer.
Derp
TheMahvelPlaya Burnout 3 takedown
Burnout 3: Takedown is the best :D
If I don't see TDU and NFS Most Wanted 2005 I will not be happy AT ALL
+pathe02 I am not happy AT ALL
+pathe02 I dont understand why people are always saying mw 2005 was the best nfs.
Just my two cents though
same
YO BROTHERS!! GO HERE--> facebook.com/CSR-Racing-Resources-Generator-868178136629167/?pidid=097c079f-9379-44ff-88e8-8013a4b8395d FOR THE CSR Racing CHEAT THAT WORKS! IM USING IT :) Top 10 Racing Games
nfs most wanted should be number 1
Most Wanted (2005) that is.
fuck yes, or underground
the new most wanted is bullshit.
I agree. Need For Speed Most Wanted is really good! You got 4 DLC-packs that you can buy. I haven't played the 2005 version yet, but I know that it exists.
i think the same
CTR(Crash Team Racing) should have been in the top 5 and not just an honorable mention for the list
It taught mariokart how to walk
Really glad to see Sonic Transformed on here - most fun I've had with a game of any genre in a long time.
Gran Turismo is the best series devoted to racing. Hands down.
Have you even tried Forza
GT4 was yes.
GT5 or GT6... ehh... not so much. F4 and F5 are way better
TheF22a HAH... nope!
TheF22a have you even tried grand turismo?
TheF22a Gran Turismo was there from the start. It's attention to detail in every vehicle and the passion they use to make it authentic makes it the best.
Gran Turismo the king of kings.
Sike
Where's Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing??
lol
This made me lol
Lol
It's The Worst Racing game ever
It's amazing because it's so shit
Two words: Most. Wanted.
Crash Bandicoot racing is my childhood through and through
Andre Mojekwu Me too ^^
where is midnight club 3
Crash Gamer im with you im mad at wacth mojo for not adding that game
Ikr
my favorite on the list is burnout Paradise
I know right!!
Crash Gamer they never played it
Gt4 as number 1.... YES :D
Mario Kart was number one, but it got hit by a blue shell...
lol
GRAN TURISMO 4 FTW
Also, had best menu music all time xD
Totally
and the "Yello - Oh Yeah" when you fail a special track
I agree
+HammerCat I thought it was when you failed a driving test
Fuck,I tought the graphic were bad ass till i realized we are in 2016 and theres a huge graphic differenceXD
GT4 is still my favorite racing game of all time
Ocular Cavity is this a joke or smth
GT4 is my favourite racing game of all time to,because i like realistic game
ummm gta isnt really a racing game it just features online racing
Ocular Cavity Same, that or rallisport challenge 2
GunScott HDgaming Use your fucking eyes properly..
Agree with one and five, great games
That's amazing staying power for Transformed that two years after its release you like it just a little less than MK8. Do you think in 6 months when the novelty of MK8 wears off, you'll feel the same?
I love Midnight Club, but the "rubberband racing" that allowed people behind you to catch up or people ahead of you to slow down really ruined it.
Nintendo fanboy alert haha
Only one of them was a Nintendo game....
Grand turismo im gonna let you finish. But Mario Kart has the greatest racing game of all time.
haha I see what you did there!
I preferred NFS Underground over any of the Midnight Club games. I feel like Rockstar took arcadey-ness to a whole new level with that franchise.
scrambliedeggs have u even played midnigth club 3:dub edition, its remake or LA?
@@LimeJ0SH have u even heard of a different opinion
Midnight club not on the list is a crime
No its not
CTR was such a great game
Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005) was the best of the Need for Speed Series by far, good balance of story, customization, races, police chases, and car selection, plus the challenge mode made it a bit ahead of its time, but still among the best racing games ever made.
nahh carbon underground 1 and 2 were better most wanted was alright but the graphics sucked balls it was so bad.
+Falconsfan90 carbon has better grapichs than mw
+DragonDew12 not by much, it's also newer than most wanted. It should look better than most wanted. Like I said, I just didn't enjoy carbon as much, it just felt too limited in comparison to most wanted
Agreed
Forza Horizon has to be one of the best racing games i have played so far.
Forza horizon are utter shit. why? Paid dlc for returning cars, handling and physics are unrealistic as fuck, focusing only to graphics not gameplay, and many more
Thanks for shitting on my doorstep. Most people didn't like it but I did.
King James I wish forza were on pc, so good game...
I second this. Forza Horizon is great.
worst Forza game out of them all
Finally some recognition to GRID, great game, you could activate or deactivate driving assists for a more or less arcade experience, really good graphics for a 10 yo game and a lot of different categories of competition.
Idk, I still believe the 2005 Need for Speed Most Wanted is the best entry in the series. While Underground 2 had a lot more customization, the cop chases, blacklist and overall feel of Most Wanted tips the balance.
Not to mention the fun that came with the cop chases, especially since the AI made some funny decisions sometimes.
if most wanted and UG2 was combined it would be epic
Ryan Page Stop teasing me, I would love to play such a game. o.o
borntodie297 so would i it would be epic
You are right. I do agree with you. I thought so too that the 2005 NFS: MW was the best out of all the need for speed games.
Alright, an honorable mention for CTR, I'll take it
Nobody else remember 'Road Rash'? That was great : )
playstation 1 days!!
Awesome to see some love for Sonic Transformed. Awesome track design, item balance, and fanservice up the wazoo.
GT? All of the cars' engines sounds like the sound of my vacuum cleaner
Still better than your crap
Funky Mountain7:5 toxic?
What the hell is toxic
Funky Mountain7:5 tilted? salty?
it was 2004 everything sounded the same
Burnout 3: Takedown was the best Burnout, hands down.
Ricky Turrietta Yeah. Paradise was a good game, but no other crash game can beat Burnout 3.
***** I had it on PS2 a long time ago. About 2 years ago I got it for xbox to relive the memories... Just with a different controller.
THANK YOU! Atleast somebody knows what the HELL their talking about!
I'm bitterly disappointed!
u suspected midnight club 3? in a video of 2014? think twise before you say something stupid
+mark van den berg Stupid? But you can't spell Twice? 😂😂
+Lucas Richards i am so sorry 😯
+Edgar Chiprez To be honest, midnight club 3 isn't that good.
+Lucas Richards right😂😂😂
When i heard "number one, grand turismo 4" my heart just slowed down and memories made me feelingsad of these old times.
My top 10:
10. Big Riggs Over the Road Racing
9. Big Riggs Over the Road Racing
8. Big Riggs Over the Road Racing

6. Big Riggs Over the Road Racing
5. Big Riggs Over the Road Racing
4. Big Riggs Over the Road Racing
3. DreamWorks Kartz (Because shrek is in it)
2. Big Riggs Over the Road Racing
And.....
1. Big Riggs Over the Road Racing
These games are legendary racing games that are handcrafted from god
my favorite racing games where burnout 3 takedown & flatout. those where also the only ones i have played when i was younger, but then shooters engulfed my gaming life.
OMFG FLATOUT YES
Burnout 3 takedown is probably my favorite game of all time
I loved that game on ps2, it was the only game I actually got around to finish
Same here. That and NFS U2
yeahh, that game was fun
Really? No Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition?! That was undoubtedly one of the best street racing game at its time, with the deepest car customization there ever was! Even Blur and Wipeout got honourable mentions but not Midnight Club... I'm disappointed.
Wipeout > Midnight club
was good that game
One of the best racing games ever.
club 3 I remember fixin up my 69 charger into a 70 superbird and then go see Oscar so I could sell it ahhh the good ol days
3:29 I thought that was the person's voice lowered and him putting on an accent XD but it was Jeremy Clarkson! Lol
What I meant was that oversteer and understeer were more apparent in the other games then GT4. That was me, though, a while ago.
Best racing games ever made:
1. Forza Horizon 2
2. Forza Motorsport 4
3. Forza Motorsport 5
4. Forza Horizon
5. Forza Motorsport 3
6. Need For Speed Underground 2
7. Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005)
8. GRID Autosport
9. Dirt 3
10. Midnight Club L.A.
______________
11. Need For Speed Carbon
12. Need For Speed Underground
13. PGR 4
14. Forza Motorsport 2
15. PGR 3
16. Grid
17. Fuel
18. Dirt 2
19. F1 2013
20. F1 2012
21. Blur
22. Burnout Paradise
23. Dirt
24. Dirt Showdown
25. Race Driver 3
You have a shitty opinion
Please post your list, David.
***** Nah, I was just joking with you
Forza Horizon 2 is the racing game ever made though in my opinion, absolute amazing. Can't stop playing it.
*cough* fanboy *cough*
Seriously no midnight club 3 dub edition? That was one of the best racing games in my opinion... ssx shouldn't be on the list and dirt should have been on the list.
SSX was better than dirt..that was one of the top selling ps2 games of the year when it came out
It may have been but a snowboarding game isn't a racing game... And if you wreck you lose in most racing games... Like driveclub if you hit a car or a wall you're pretty much screwed...
yeaaaaa
+Austin Lingle It's a race to the finish line, it's a racing game.
Wether you drive, fly, run, skate, snowboard, ski, swim, drive a boat, etc, it's a racing game.
I disagree with that since ssx also gave you points from doing tricks so it wasn't all about racing... I had ssx 3 tricky that is no where near a racing game lmao...
I LOVE GT4! Grew up with that game :'D
Racing Simulators > Racing games.
Yes, people play to have fun, but playing it gives you a close feeling to a real car on a track.
iRacing enough said.
Mark Mejia Racing Simulators are so boring. There are no fun. If you play a game, it is to make things you can not do in real life
Valdoy2866™ Like you're saying F1 is boring. It needs some cops, Nitro, and what else? Mario Kart Blue Shell i suppose?
M-....
Midnight Club...?
:(
Yes just yes midnight club should be number 1
Aleck Heiner
On the list?
Aleck Heiner XD midnight club? #1? hahaha no
It deserves a chance. It made me awe at it one day the first time I saw it on my cousin's PSP.
The third one dissapointed me on the PSP, The lack of visual damage made it hard to know when the car was about to break down. At least the rest looked good.
The best in my opinion:
-Dethkarz
-Mario Kart (multiplayer only)
-Need for Speed Underground 2
-Flatout 2
- Midtown Madness (lol)
Fer Shred flatout 2 my childhood!
the scout reborn
who didn't love the superfast batman car
Fer Shred I LOVED THAT CAR! i always on multiplayer forced batmobile and checked out the results! EVERYONE DNF XD
FlatOut1, Colin McRae 04 and Burnout3. My childhood.
Street legal racing redline, need for speed underground 2 and bootleg platformers for PC, my childhood
No big rigs over the road racing?
GOD i loved Crash Team racing,
Same, that game is so much fun!
+KingreX32 me 2
+KingreX32 Still good to get the old PS1 one just to play CTR
me 2 bruh!!!
Here's how it should go...
1. Gran Turismo 4 (GT 5 and 6 are both half-baked and suck)
2. Forza 4
3. Need For Speed: Underground 2
4. Midnight Club (Which ever one, they're all good)
5-10 All the other bullshit games on their list with the exception of SSX, it shouldn't even be on the list.
Yep, this list is bang on.
Where is blur?
What about burnout? Burnout 3, revenge, and paradise are all really good racing games.
Funky I vote forza horizon 2 as one, need for speed hot pursuit original as two, and grand turismo 4 as 3
Now thats a good list
where is split second? split second in a nutshell is if Michael Bay made a racing game.
Ya split second is fun
split second. yeeesssss
Split/Second is way overlooked and underrated. Unfortunately it was released within a week of Blur, and Blur got far more press inches. People chose one or the other, and chose Blur. I had both. Blur is good but Split/Second easily equal to it.
Forgot about split second. Awesome game but its to bad the sequel was cancelled. I think i might go play some split second now.
Awesome game but to bad Disney shut Down the sequel
Ridge Racer Type 4 should be on here atleast as a honorable mention
Yeah, because ridge racer 6 and ridge racer 7 it's the best game ever
Need for Speed Underground 2 was so much fun!
i agree!! great game, awsome game!!!
I have followed Need For Speed since the first game in 1994, and I have to disagree on NFSU2 being a great game, for a number of reasons:
- NO COPS!
- Rubberband AI
- Most of the visual customization looks hideous (ugly aero parts, stereo systems, neon, spinnaz) and yet you're forced to buy all of this stuff to progress further in the game. It was fine back when 2F2F was a hot movie, but not anymore
- The amount of product placement is ridiculous.
NailStrafer Yeah I agree but what if NFSU2 had cops in the game? Would you like it much better?
Brian Griffin If I did, I'd definitely enjoy it a lot more. That's my main problem with the game, which is why I'm a much bigger fan of NFSMW.
I would also like it if visual customization were optional. The game may have lots of customization options, but I struggle to make a good looking car when you have to buy those ugly high-star kits to get a good enough visual rating to progress in the game. The lower-star kits look a lot better, since they're simpler and more streamlined.
Midnight club shouldve atleast been on the honorable mentions. It couldve beat nfs too, midnight is the real best street racing game.
how did they fricking miss this??? especially part 2? should of been ranked, fuck honorable mention
I know. Especially midnight club 3, it had a way better customization options and a lot more cars, and even bikes. It's really annoying how midnight club gets no credit
Need for Speed Most Wanted is the best NFS game in my opinion:D
agree
I agree with both of y'all......
Need for speed most wanted was the best, with an actual story that made sense unlike 99% of the other racing games where you just race for nothing
Rafael Samardzic If you are looking for storylines in racing games, you should not be playing racing games.
Ultraguy87 Lol 😂
Do video games really even need a story? I mean, stories can be great and all, but why can't people just play video games for the fun of it? Don't we play video games to have fun in the first place?
Story is what makes you motivated to play the game, you have reason why you should win races. You need to download nfs most wanted 2005.
@@stressedrex *cough * the last of us *cough*
Road Rash was always a favorite of mine
Got to #9 , FUCK IT , F-zero's on the list , all i needed from this video. Finally some recognition for F-zero.
I totally agree people dont know how great of a racing game F-Zero really is.. all of them not just GX
Actually , i preffered F-zero X over GX because i felt it was way harder , and mainly because of X cup , that was the SHIT! Randomly generated mostly HARDCORE tracks. Those were the days.
And #1.... Sugar rush! From wreck it Ralph!
They should've made that he movie tie in game that would've been awesome.
5- Forza Motorsport 4 (best simulation game)
4- NFS: Carbon
3- Burnout Revenge (it's much much better than Paradise)
2- NFS: Most Wanted
1- NFS: Underground 2
top 10 jeremy clarkson moments
This list could have been divided into 2 further videos which i would suggest as
Top 10 Track Racing Games
Top 10 Street Racing Games
That or another top 10 racing games in general would do there's so many more racing games out there you could cover
What Flatout 2 or Flatout: Ultimate Carnage didn't even get a honorable mention.
Apart from the titles I haven't played, this is my list! Good job.
I still like Crash Team Racing more than Mario Cart
No love for Split/Second? That game was amazing! WAAAAAAAAY better than Blur..Didn't even get an honorable mention. I'm disappointed WatchMojo..
I agree with you bro, its amazing game, but maybe SS didnt release when this vedio made it?
Sean Zhu s/s was around for 4 years before this was made, so WatchMojo doesn't know anything about the best racing games :P
Only Mario kart
RustedRedwood55 wow, then they really no tastes about racing game.
how dare you say that Mario kart 7 is the best of the Mario kart series. double dash is OBVIOUSLY supreme
+Baeboardz Amen to that.
Yaaaaassss its obviously Double Dash vs DS not 7 vs 64
Street Racing Syndicate (2004) was the best one I've ever played. Although it took me almost 2 years to open the final stage of Nitro Xtreme. Last time I played it from nostalgia 3 weeks ago, I was done within 8 days.
split second velocity was a really good game, it was highly underrated mostly just because it was a Disney title, but even so it was one of my most favourite racing games ever, if you don't know what I’m talking about then you should go see for yourself
i hear you everytime i go to ikea and i see the PS3 box there i know what will be doin when my parents are shopping
i loveeed that game...was so sad when I heard it was going on to be a 2nd game
but it is underrated like kingdom hearts in holland
poor test drive unlimited
Lol that game wasn't that good
Josh Lance at least you dont drive around a track all the fucking time which gets boring you have whole island
Nikola Andonovski I was about to post the same thing. Both TDU and TDU2 are two of my all time favorite games. I wish they would get more recognition.
Nikola Andonovski so tru
+Josh Lance what do you mean ???
Split/second deserved an honourable mention.
That game was awesome *_*
A little hidden gem that was overshadowed by bigger games.
LUCCARDI Guess what? Disney canceled the 2nd game -_-
yeah I know, that's because it didn't do to well because modern warfare 2 came out a couple of months before it and kids were still going crazy over that :(
I remember when I first played this game 3:10 it was AWESOME
A Midnight Club game comes to mind.
This is a stupid list. You can't compare sims like Gran Turismo, Forza and Grid, to games like F-Zero, Need for Speed or Mario Kart...
Butters Stotch Grid a simulation? :'D
Killerkarpfen1990 well the original one at least is sort of sim and an arcade TBH
A mix yes like GT and Forza. It bugs me though when people call the console games a sim. A true sim is different.
You understand they aren't comparing the games right? They have chosen these games because they are different in their own way, not because they are comparable
Butters Stotch GT and Forza are not sims
GTR 2 FIA GT Racing, Asseto Corso, Iracing, Rfactor 1&2, Richard Burns Rally are simulators
Looked so "real" compared to others
underground isn't nearly good as Most wanted
It's your opinion, don't say that like it's a fact
i like underground 2 the most
it's true
underground is better, the story is worse but it is better, theres just somthin about it
MrGamer I like it because ofthe soundtrack, MW sounds like noisy trash to me (i know thats subjective af), also MW is an orange bloomy blurry mess while Underground is night with bright lights and neon glow.
And in underground you can drive in a rainy night while listening to riders of the storm. that was the best.
I think need for speed most wanted '05 should be up there ( although there was underground 2 in there )
So true
the UG2 is out there because the game feel it gives (yet i find hot pursuit and the run has the best game feel of them all. hot pursuit for the zonda and the run for the M3) UG2 is much much larger then most wanted.
I prefer most wanted in NFS series
