Several months late to the party but I love me some DD snark for effective procrastination... You said the 2nd turkey is giving lost in the Sahara vibes. I disagree because I did get lost in the Sahara once, ran almost out of water, climbed a dune, still couldn't see our camp, tried to calm myself down by sitting down and running sand through my hands and got hold of a bone. First it looked like a human finger (my fate sealed) but it turned out to be a chicken or pigeon bone and the thing is, that bone didn't look half as dry as Josh's 2nd garbage can fried turkey.

My dad has been deep frying the turkey for as long as I can remember and it's always so good and moist. I can say the best turkey I ever had was his. 😅

I have never had a deep fried turkey. I just know it's at risk of drying out, even deep fried

@@terrylynnlavoie776 apparently the brine Josh soaked the birds in can help keep them moist. As will injecting the meat with butter or a marinade.
