you can find the deleted scene where nala enters the cave where scar is and tries to convince him to change his ways and he does say "my have you grown" and sings to her about wanting her to rule by him and she does indeed give him a big smack on the face when he keeps getting closer to her face and refused to listen to her warnings to back off
I’m not sure about this but I’m pretty sure scar trying to find a heir and tried mating with Nala but actually scar has a child with Zira which is where Nuka comes from, But scar doesn’t think Nuka is good enough so he orders zira to go find another lion to mate with which she does but that lion ends up being a female which is vitani so scar orders zira to go kidnap another cub for scar and she does, And that’s how we get kovu.
I never thought of it as Nala leaving the Pride land I thought she was just searching for something to eat since they were basically starving at the Pride land. It makes sense now and if she told Simba that was the reason she left he would’ve have approached Scar a lot more aggressive than he did.

Even if it was implied that Scar liked Nala, she gave him a paw in the face and ran away. Judging by Nala's character, she would Never let Scar touch her! She's proud. And she was happy with Simba. If Scar could touch her, she would be sad. So this did not happen and she was faithful only to Simba, even though Scar dreamed of her
To say she was faithful to simba is odd. One, it took place before she found out he was alive, 2 she wouldn't be faithful to a dead man. But yeah she would never let him touch her
People complained that it would be too dark for a Disney movie. But if you look at the original version of Pinocchio were he hung himself, it was way worse. The scene of the Lion King would have explained how she ended in the exact place where the trio were.
From what I understand Nala left to look for outside help plus to get away from Scar because he said he needed a queen Nala was the only lioness that was now a young adult & unmated. The other lionesses were either too old or had cubs of their own Nala felt disgusted at the thought of being Scar's queen & mother to his cub so she needed to leave her home asap before Scar found out.
I actually theorize the reason Nala left was Vitani. Hear me out. Vitani has blue eyes. Other than Nala she is the ONLY lion with blue eyes. And we know blue eyes have to be recessive because Kiara got Simba’s eyes. So for Vitani to have blue both her parents had to carry recessive genes. Scar is the ONLY lion with green eyes so we can assume that too is recessive. We can see that Nuka doesn’t share his green eyes despite being fathered by him. My theory is Scar forced a cub on Nala and Nala, after seeing this little life she was now responsible for couldn’t bear for her new cub to have to grow up in a wasteland. So she left her with the only lioness who was still nursing- Zira. Zira was currently nursing Kovu, the cub Scar had stolen when his heir turned out weak. It would explain why Vitani seems to have particular hatred for Nala. Because Nala allowed her own cub to be outcast as one of Scar’s rather than admit to Simba what happened to her. But it explains as well why Nala was so invested in rehabilitation for Kovu. If it worked maybe she could make a case for her secret daughter who had also been just a cub. I feel like it’s a pretty solid theory
@@xBloodxFangx Yes I know. “Other than nala she’s the only lion with blue eyes.” Nala having blue eyes is integral to my point. Did you read my comment?
If Scar forcing himself on her was the real reason Nala left the Pridelands, Then it would be understandable both because Scar was being a creep and I have no doubt that Nala would rather live in exhile or even die than be married to a creepy tyrant like Scar. I mean for Nala being married to Scar would've been a fate even worse than death.
Scar wasn’t being a creep. He was being a LION who decided after all these years of being a bachelor that it was time to ‘settle down’ and create a heir for himself. Since we don’t see any other lion cubs in the pride besides Nala and Simba, the only thing left would have been the older lionesses, who are probably past their cub rearing days by now, while he has a fresh, YOUNG and available lioness like Nala he could chose from instead as his future Queen.

That’s why they had the song Shadowlands in it. The Madness of King Scar song also illustrates the fact that Nala was a devastating beauty as lionesses go, hence his lustful advances that forced her to flee the kingdom.
They should have left the scene in the movie where Scar tries to force Nala to become his queen and the lionesses defend Nala and being threatened by their uprising Nala accepts her banishment rather than submit to Scar. This adds that not only is the balance of predator and prey important but so is respect for the lionesses important to the pride.
while i agree and wish they would release a version with ths scene in, it is a childrens movie and i think the idea of SA might be too adult for children
In my head cannon I like to think Zira chased Nala out of the pride lands to prevent any competition for Scar. And Scar gave Zira that notch in her ear for doing such a thing behind his back.
Nice head canon! :D Makes sense, I could totally see Zira either overhearing Scar talking to Nala about becoming a Queen or hearing it from another lioness. Then becoming UNHINGED and doing whatever she could to have Scar all to herself. After chasing away Nala, Zira would either be caught outright by Scar or Scar was informed by a spying lioness or hyena. To add onto this further.. If Kovu's father isn't Scar, and Zira isn't Kovu's mother.. I could see Scar "punishing" Zira by refusing to mate with her after she chased away Nala. And mating with another lioness behind Zira's back, only to leave Kovu to Zira to raise. Maybe Kovu's biomom died in childbirth or a tragic "accident". (Probably caused by Zira, let's be real)
I like to think she was given the notch for allowing Nala to escape, but then I also have a headcannon that Zira only raised Vitani and she’s actually Nala’s cub by Scar. Given to Zira by Nala so that Nala could escape because Zira was just finishing up nursing Nuka

Poor Nala, I can see why she left. Plus, she’s way happier with Simba, and I’m glad her true lover was able to dethrone Scar & return The Pridelands to it’s former glory.
1. Nala was young. To Scar he needed a young lioness to have his cubs. In the 2019 remake Scar did go after Sarabi. He wanted Sarabi to love an adore him like she did with Mufasa. But Nala in a realistic way would make sense for Scar since she was young and healthy. Plus I think theres that trope of the villain going after the protagonist love interest that we see in media
@@the-nina-beans88actually Nala would not make sense at all. Scar killed his brother when Nala and Simba where just cubs. So you’re going to tell me Scar was going to wait months or some years for Nala to grow up? Why wait if could get together with another lioness and get cubs to secure his line. Not so fun fact: Disney actually released a reanimated deleted scene of Scar singing a song to Nala about something like being his queen. It was as disturbing as finding out that a goddess in Greek mythology married her uncle.
The movie edited version. Made it that food had gotten too scarce to find near the Prideland. So lionesses had to go further out to hunt. That's how they swapped the reason for Nala finding Simba.
My parents went to see the musical when it came to Houston. There is a big part of the story revolving over Scar and his infatuation of Nala. He wanted her to be his queen. They nixed that plotline in the movie because it was considered to mature for children.
Ironically The Lion King remake shows Nala sneaking and escaping from Pride Rock and it's one of the coolest added scenes that wasn't even in the original Lion King but I bet that's how Nala left Pride Rock in The Original Lion King.
there is a deleted scene that shows scar trying to make nala his queen and force her into carrying his cubs. it was deleted from the movie but used in the musical
One thing I was always confused about is why Scar was still around in the first place. To my understanding lion prides only have one adult male. Which also makes me wonder who Nala's father is.
Actually prides depending on their size can have up to 3-4 males. The males are usually always brothers, rare occassions just random males joined together as a stronger force. One male is always the primary leader meaning he gets first rights to all the females but on occassions the lesser males may as well if the primary is not around or resting elsewhere.
@@tiffking86he’s not the leader lol. He’s the dominate of the males and the females mate with the strongest male. The females run the pride, prides are matriarchal not patriarchal. Human men always assumed the males were the leaders because they mated. That’s an incredible inaccuracy based on human ego.
When you think about it theres only two male lions in the pride lands muphasa and scar which means nala must be the daughter of one of them so shes either simbas sister or cousin 🤔🤪
I think if Nala found Simba early they were going to have slim chances to defeat Scar, Simba was young and believed anything Scar was saying so there's a chance that he was gonna turn his back against Nala and join Scar and his evil ways without realising as Scar kept manipulating Simba. Not to forget, hadn't been for Nala, Pumba, Timon (along with his mom and Uncle) somehow Simba might have been defeated because he is weak and not rude so with Nala finding Simba during their older age it did finally Simba understood that Scar is a liar unlike when he was young, there was a time when Scar set him up to go to the Elephant 🐘 Graveyard but the following day he met with Scar who lied to him again and that caused for Mufasa to meet his death but now Simba understood everything and had visions of Scar killing Mufasa.
If you know how lions work irl, often females will leave the pride temporarily to get pregnant by a male to have him welcomed back to the pride, or to bring a new male. I'm not an expert and only have a video I saw where this actually did occur but it was with 2 males.
1. Nala is not Mufasa's cub so by exclusion, she is Scar's cub. 2. Lion mates with all lionesses of his pride. Cats arent bothered by things like blood relationships, they just mate. Any cat owner knows this (hence giving the litter away as soon they are old enough). 3. So if we need a romantic anthopomophing twist, let is be child rebelling against patent.
Scar forcing Nala to be her queen may have been the dumbest idea for him to do because they aren't even close to being the same age because scar is possibly 38-48 years old while Nala ain't even that old plus if he did that then that's saying scar would have been cheating on his real wife because if we see in the second lion king movie scars wife was that crazy old lady lion that had a bunch of children and scars wife died by falling in water and drowning in it at the end of the movie.
this guy talks so much without actually saying anything my god. I heard like 3 or 4 times "but why did she leave?" until he actually started explaining
In the sequel, Vitani asks Nala in a very mocking tone "Where's your pretty daughter, Nala?" She could've been referring to Kiara or herself, it's very possible Scar forced Nala to give him a cub before she left to find help for her family, and she gives Scar a newborn lioness, Vitani
No, in the deleted scene, we see Nala leave the same day Scar takes an interest in her, as she shows zero interest in him and the other lionesses defend her from him, so he exiles her. Vitani looks nothing like Nala; not to mention that her eyes are violet, not blue. Also makes 0 sense age-wise since Kovu, Vitani, and Kiara seemed to be close in age in TLK2. If Vitani was Nala's cub, born with a different dad before Kiara, Vitani would be a teenager by the time Kiara grows to be the same size/age as Kovu because you'd have to factor in gestational time during pregnancy too.
I’m not sure about this and if it’s true or not but I’m pretty sure scar trying to find a heir and tried mating with Nala but actually scar has a child with Zira which is where Nuka comes from, But scar doesn’t think Nuka is good enough so he orders zira to go find another lion to mate with which she does but that lion ends up being a female which is vitani so scar orders zira to go kidnap another cub for scar and she does, And that’s how we get kovu.

Plus, she’s way happier with Simba, and I’m glad her true lover was able to dethrone Scar & return The Pridelands to it’s former glory.
5:40 in the real version of 2019 Scar wanted Sarabi for his Queen. When she refused, Scar said, the hynianas would from now on eat before the lions.
Why Nala? Why not go after one of the older lionesses?
Because Nala was picked as the betrothed to the prince. That would have likely been because she was the strongest or best bred of her generation.
Cuz no one (except Zira) liked him
@@the-nina-beans88actually Nala would not make sense at all. Scar killed his brother when Nala and Simba where just cubs. So you’re going to tell me Scar was going to wait months or some years for Nala to grow up? Why wait if could get together with another lioness and get cubs to secure his line.
Because the Lion king is based off Hamlet Scar going after Sarabi makes sense
@@moondivine2288 It’s possible he was trying to groom Nala. None of the other lionesses would've been interested in him, but maybe he thought that if he groomed her, she would be interested back.
Are there seriously people who still think Simba and Nala are related? Didn’t Lion Guard already confirm that they aren’t. At this point it feels like you people want them to be related.
Honestly concidering how Taka (Thats Scars real name) Was treated by his Parents and his family its no wonder he became a psychopath..
Ignored, unloved, never good enougth and abused..
There was a fan theory about Nala being Vitani's mother as well, I believe it 100% :)
Makes it even worse when you realize that Nala was Scar's neice. And Simba and Nala are half siblings
...This 8 minute video could'v taken like, 5 seconds. "Scar destroyed the pridelands and there was gonna have to be cubs at some point."
I really can't believe you used fanart on your cover image. Fanart you're making money off of someone else's content. At the very least credit Nairon Dragon for their art instead of taking advantage of it.
She literally stated it was cause there was no food
keep crying about it
Thanks for saying something! ❤ yes Credit the Artist !!!!!!
Once you post something on the internet it’s no longer yours
I mentioned nothing about the theory he had. @@RagingLegionette
Also Scar never said he is the heir to the throne. He said it’s with a heavy heart that he takes over as king.
you can’t tell me simba didn’t overhunt bugs as he matured
Yes Nala needed him they grew up together and played for short time😊
Not so fun fact: Disney actually released a reanimated deleted scene of Scar singing a song to Nala about something like being his queen. It was as disturbing as finding out that a goddess in Greek mythology married her uncle.
After the part about the many generations of Lions sort of being like guardians of the animal kingdom, made me think about Aslan from Narnia.
Oh my goodness yes i just realized that its lining everything thank you
The movie edited version. Made it that food had gotten too scarce to find near the Prideland. So lionesses had to go further out to hunt. That's how they swapped the reason for Nala finding Simba.
she left not only to find food she also left in hope to find help . in the Book it explains it alot more then the movie.
I wish they could’ve had Zira in Lion king 1 or lion guard where they can have meet.
I mean the only possible way Simba and Nala could have known each other as children is if they were related....
My parents went to see the musical when it came to Houston. There is a big part of the story revolving over Scar and his infatuation of Nala. He wanted her to be his queen. They nixed that plotline in the movie because it was considered to mature for children.
The drama is getting juicy and juicer. 😮
In the video you say Simba was gone for a short time when in fact he was gone for a long time as he left as a cub and returned as a young adult
Ironically The Lion King remake shows Nala sneaking and escaping from Pride Rock and it's one of the coolest added scenes that wasn't even in the original Lion King but I bet that's how Nala left Pride Rock in The Original Lion King.
He hit on her!!! No surprise there
there is a deleted scene that shows scar trying to make nala his queen and force her into carrying his cubs. it was deleted from the movie but used in the musical
That explains a lot i seen someone said that vatani was her daughter and it makes sense because nala has blue eyes and Vitani has electric blue eyes
It’s not really messed up, it’s pretty much the truth of what would have happened.
She probably left because she knew she needed Simba if she would be able to retake the Pridelands.
When you think about it theres only two male lions in the pride lands muphasa and scar which means nala must be the daughter of one of them so shes either simbas sister or cousin 🤔🤪
Video starts at 4:20 your welcome.
Be being completely oblivious that the lion king had back story lore with the “lion guard ” untill now
I think if Nala found Simba early they were going to have slim chances to defeat Scar, Simba was young and believed anything Scar was saying so there's a chance that he was gonna turn his back against Nala and join Scar and his evil ways without realising as Scar kept manipulating Simba.
The deleted scene was wild
She went to search for food it was stated in the lion king Scar over hunted
I always assumed she waited because she was a cub. How far would she have gotten then?
Answer @ 4:30
She told simba she left to find food cuz no more is in pride rock
I find that the lions having human eyebrows to be very strange and honestly creepy
If you know how lions work irl, often females will leave the pride temporarily to get pregnant by a male to have him welcomed back to the pride, or to bring a new male. I'm not an expert and only have a video I saw where this actually did occur but it was with 2 males.
Dang. This would've been cool to see
The male lion mates the lionesses. That's not disgusting, just nature!
The age gap between Nala and Scar is probably why he calls it disgusting
@@TheCheese_Lover What age gap? Male lions live 8-10 years, females up to 16.
Alternate Title: Reasons why the new Mufasa movie makes 0 sense
He repeated himself quite alot lol
The Lion King is an adaptation of Hamlet
this guy talks so much without actually saying anything my god. I heard like 3 or 4 times "but why did she leave?" until he actually started explaining
That's messed up
It's still weird that Simba and Nala made out even thought they are cousins. Nala and Scar is the only lions with green eyes.
Nala got blue eyes
Scar is very creepy
scar sounds like a dictator
1:12 you would see a hidden mickey mouse ln one of the brown bugs
I know this is completely irrelevant i am saying but i feel like i have to
Yay I was the 100 person to give a like
Dont tell me is the music video The Madness of king Scar
But in the movie they said she left to look for food.
So you basically repeat the whole video from a month ago just add the information I wrote in comments without any thank you or mention that I told you that. Lame. 2 days after my comment you make this video...
Sad life
I mean there is a fan made animation of this scene and they brought it into the Lion King Play i believe
An old man like you is talking about lion king 😂
Was there a video where he talked about Brittany and naira possibly being related????????? Please answer me
Some thing should stay forgotten
Wow, this turned real repeat very quickly. It’s understandable why it was deleted and quite frankly. I wish I never clicked on this video.
Just by the title I guessed the theory
Scar Kelly really about that life
See Nala didn't leave she traveled farther out to hunt because there was no food. She just happened upon simba by accident.😅
love the name
If I Giant Bluewhale was Right Next To Pride Rock There Would Be Plenty of Food.
Ok, I've scrolled through the comments and before the vieo even get started I know where this is headed. I-I just can't do this. I have cats at home and I've seen things I wish I could unsee. I'm out. It's to much for me. I'll give the video a like though. But i'd rather keep what little of my childhood I have left
