Based on the amount of smoke that comes out of her oven when she makes bacon... Maybe the crock pot is safer? Lol might explain why they deep fry turkey 🤔

For some reason Americans have acted like RANCH is everything. I won’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. Use it as a Salas dressing and let it go. Some people have now caught on that you can make your own cream of chicken soup and cream of mushroom soup. I’m not sure the pic of Alicia’s chicken is cooked. Her meal is offensive and I would not feed my family that garbage.
I like ranch. But maybe not to the levels I've seen on social media. Love me a ranch dip, though 👌

I’m with your husband. God did intend mashed potatoes to go with gravy. The ranch seems to be the problem. I know of no person in the USA who cooks or eats this. I have a huge family and never of such a think. I am a food snob and I agree about taco soup. It’s was a horrible thought. You definitely have more courage than I do to attempt and eat an Alicia recipe. ❤️❤️❤️
Haha he REALLY loves mashed potatoes and gravy. And I feel you on the snob part. It's part of why I decided to go with the best case scenario recipe. And even THAT was not there for him, haha. 🫶
As a Dutchie I heavily agree, having 'stampot', mashed potatoes and a vedgie with a good gravy is a staple here, perfect combo. 👌

Lol Mr CE is a very kind patient man and an incredible father. He doesn't verbally abuse me or demand things from me. I mean, he could try... but he'd get an earful if he was actually an asshole. He wasn't demanding I make tacos. We were discussing another recipe of Alicia's I made that he hated. He was saying he would prefer tacos instead of the soupy variant. Because he didn't like that either.

Ok here is a much better ranch chicken recipe… panko bread crumbs dry ranch shedded parm cheese mix that together coat chicken is butter then in dry mixture (I use the thin cut breasts cuz that’s my my family prefers they just taste better and are more natural) pop in oven at 350 (sorry I’m a American) for 15-20 minutes (remember I use thin cut) and of course test with thermometer to make sure it done… we call it my daughters chicken cuz it her fave way I make chicken 🥰
Now the way you cooked it here, makes me wanna try your version! Looks 100 times better than lushy’s! Sorry I was commenting before getting to watch you cook due to being at the doc when I originally watched the video and had to listen without looking halfway through 🤦🏼♀️

I don’t mind ranch sauce for certain things BUT the seasoning is really good lol I do like to dust a little on chicken with other seasoning. But you can’t really taste the ranch? If that makes sense

Great vid Cursed i needed this giggle plus imo bc im not a huge ranch lover but cheese and real bacon on top does add to the flavor. I would need a blindfold to eat though bc the color of the chicken once mixed with soup and ranch just made it look like an unwell chix. I loved the sear. Maybe season chix with ranch packet and sear it that way?

Ok. I’ve watched some of your videos ( thanks for them!) and I had to comment on the ranch chicken… they have a hidden valley ranch seasoning packet with a recipe on it for this. I did it. ONCE. I hate ranch anything but it wasn’t horrible. I did it in the oven so not that I like her or anything but it’s an actual thing.

Oh okay so it’s basically one of those crockpot meals that uses a can of creamed something soup. I hate all of those. They’re so gross, especially if you aren’t searing the chicken first.
Yep! It was a disheartening research adventure. But the recipe I eventually found was pretty good, all things considered.

Lower weight ≠ healthy. Alicia has hinted that they both have health issues. I think she uses caffeine to mask the fatigue of being so unhealthy.
watching Alicia cook will always be better than eating her cooked food and it looks like the same noodles and veg (props) she used. for her roasted (boiled) turkey dinner

Ok. Well. If you make a sauce with ranch seasoning, cream soup, half and half and spices it isn’t awful but in a crock pot it is going to be watery and tough.
It turns out there's a line. And Crock-Pot ranch chicken was it.
