@Midnight Owl Interesting. I can see it being played on jazz stations. Its chilled and existential. She's in the groove and Buck 65 is looking cool as well.
Today its been an historical day for me 'cause a very young friend of me was playing some music while we were taking breakfast. I asked him to please to play some chilling music, and suddently this song started...It was magical cause I have looking for this song since 2006 when I was a very young dude. Now a teenage dude in 2023 have randomly discovered this song for me. Bringing me amazing memories and sensations that I've been wanting to feel again. Thank you life.
I know I’m so thankful my friends introduced this to me all those years ago. I always felt weird because they were all female, and I was the one dude seriously vibin
The evening was long My guesses were true You saw me see you That something you said The timing was right The pleasure was mine The time and the place The look on your face Sincerest eyes If you're ready or not The state of our hearts There's no time to take When we started Both brokenhearted Not believing It could begin and end in one evening We were caught by the light Held onto the day 'Till it became hours The minutes went by The cab is outside There's no time to take When we parted Moving on And believing It could begin and end in one evening When we started both brokenhearted Not believing It could begin and end in one evening When we parted Moving on And believing It could begin and end in one evening
Spotify has the beginning as The evening is long My kisses were true It’s obviously you It makes a lot more sense the way you have it here, and It’s all I hear now.
Every single year i came back and i push the like button,She did an Amazing Early 80s AOR song of all Time...this song for me is next to"You make lovin fun"from Fleetwood Mac,Eagles "i cant te ll ou why",Player "Baby come back",Alessi Brothers"All For a Reason",5th Dimension"Last Ninght i didnt get sleep"And Carole King"Its Too Late"and of course Sade Adu "Hold on to your love"
Respectfully, she's gorgeous, her music's amazing, and SHE AND THIS VIDEO just helped me write a fantastic, absolutely real and troubling email with EASE. THANK YOU, and good luck!
I'm french, in 05' i was 20 , insomniac , smoking blunts after blunts, on the chanel 6 there's was a broadcast after 3am named "l'alternative" whom passed eclectic music videos tracks after tracks non stop till dawn ... This track was dope my man .
i would swoon and would do lame dancing with buck 65 any day...gee feist you get all the fellas. and of course a lovely song which sings a humble little tune about a situation we've all been in.
I love this song. I love Feist in general. She's fun and different. This song for those who are confused, is designed to sound something like a 70s pop song and a video to match. It's good fun.
Thanks fiestmusic.i and the universe at large deserve the subtle and overwhealming talent of this woman.hell i dont even care that she is canadian.thats how much i love her.
How I wish Feist would write sensual, lush, polished and musically rich music like this again, unlike her current 'raw' sound. I mean, music like this is genius!
Did we ever find out why the quality on this video was poor? Falling back in love with Feisty again. Where are all the singer/songwriter/goddesses out there? I need more! NAOOOOW! lol.
The paper cut out man and taxi part... golden. The whole video is golden but that part is ultra golden.

I grew up listening to this song on the local radio, but I had no idea it was Feist.Recently (a few years ago), I watched NCIS New Orleans and listened to the song Honey Honey. Searching for other songs from her, I found this hymn from my childhood.
No one can compare today! I remember the first time i've heard that song. I just get back from a rehearsal, late in the evening, i switch in the TV and : wow !!! It's been a long that i've heard such thing. A very special thing ! It mix some funk, rock, pop and country! it sometimes remind me Steely Dan!
I had honestly forgot about this song somehow.this is a great underrated. song.shame on me for forgetting it.luckily i remembered it and quite by accident.believe me i wont forget again.
People who love that music vibrate at a different frequency.
Welcome to the club of the best.
YES 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Underrated song. Has a cool, smooth 70’s vibe to it. Should have been a hit.
Probably one of her most underrated songs.
That's a millennial word.

What happen to her
@@sugarxcanon5197 She's still around. Her last album was 2017 followed by touring. With the touring on hold perhaps she is working on another album.

Anyone else totally OBSESSED with this song? 🎶 😍
How awesome is it that her dance partner is no other than Buck 65! Two Canadian legends in one video,
The sexiest ode to the one night stand in recorded history. Leslie Feist is 57 Varieties of beautiful.
First time hearing this... love finding gems like that. Its like universe is saying - here you're ready to enjoy this now.
This is the song that I discovered her with. It was an iTunes free song giveaway, back when Apple did that in the mid 2000’s.
She did a best early 80s song from the 2000s.....
Such a great song and brilliant video. She had a fantastic voice and was a brilliant songwriter and performer.
This is the first song I heard of Feist and I fell in love 😍 such melodic and soft vibes 😊

I have too. And I had this in my head today.
The world is sleeping on how great this song is!
Real music! Not the crap on the radio today!
Fuck the world.
I thought to be on the radio to be crap was a prerequisite Feist purposefully neglected

What a sad and lonely song, full of melancholy.
This song is a classic
Her voice is so enchanting
Wonderful 💛💙💛💙 This woman ought to have a collection of Grammys!!
The awkwardness of the dance is why it works and is why its charming
Love this tune, not to mention Feist's dancing is so hypnotizing!
How I miss 2004! :)
what a great voice, what a great groove, what a great song
Perfect mix of art and subtle comedy!
The evening was long
My guesses were true
You saw me see you
That something you said
The timing was right
The pleasure was mine
The time and the place
The look on your face
Sincerest eyes
If you're ready or not
The state of our hearts
There's no time to take
When we started
Both brokenhearted
Not believing
It could begin and end in one evening
We were caught by the light
Held onto the day
'Till it became hours
The minutes went by
The cab is outside
There's no time to take
When we parted
Moving on
And believing
It could begin and end in one evening
When we started both brokenhearted
Not believing
It could begin and end in one evening
When we parted
Moving on
And believing
It could begin and end in one evening

I've always loved this video and song. My favorite part, besides the dancing, is when she strolls in playing the guitar. Nice!

If you could go back to 1976 this would fit in perfectly in the discos... it has that feeling of that time, yet still works in 2022.
