- One of the common causes of unilateral vision going down is usually Astigmatism, that is refractive error, there are also couple of things associated with deeper own, It can be a cataract, a glaucoma, retinal disease. However a cataract, retinal disease does not create a headache but Astigmatism does create headache. Glaucoma does create headache. Also trauma ,which is only on one eye. so if ther is headache associated with unilateral vision loss, it would usually be a refractive error. Dryness of the eye, glaucoma, infection and trauma. We teat by finding the causative agent. If the causation is refractive error, we treat that. If the causation is Astigmatism, that is when the eyeball which is round in shape looks something like the back side of a spoon. So it is long in one axis and it is short in one axis. To match any glasses on such a sphere is very difficult. With some amount of practice, the patient gets used to Astigmatic glass. Here you will have a minus power, or plus power, plus another power, at a particular axis. So matching this glass takes a little skill form your optician. So we can do this by treating the patient with silicon plug, genetic engineering, and ciplox eye ointment as all these would have also treated the dryness of the eye.
Usually I have this feeling like I just stared into a flashlight and then an hour later I start developing a headache

Hi, What can cause a person to wake up after a 1 hour nap and find they are seeing a smoky type of mist. It cleared up in less than 90 minutes and during the 90 minutes eyes slowly cleared up. It almost looked like I was in a burning smoke up house. I was in the direct sun for a about 3 hours that day so not sure if bright sun light caused this later issue. I also take vitamins C & D so I was wondering with sun that also gives you C & D through sunshine itself that maybe I got too much D & C. Has anyone had such a issue and if so, what caused the medical issue. I notice that the DR has not replied to people that stated having a foggy smoke type of eye issue, so wondering if this issue is beyond their medical understanding. Anyone that might have a clue please reply. Thank you
Actually, my right eye has been partially clouded these past couple days, and i can hardly see. No headaches or anythng. Do you have any idea why? (my left eye is good tho)

When I wake up one eye is foggy then it goes away in a few hours. No headaches though
That happened to me too. I was in the sun a lot that day it happened to me. I woke up after a hour sleep and eye was foggy and looked like a smoke mist and slowly cleared up little by little in 90 minutes and that was a day ago and no issue since. If anyone knows what could cause that could you lets us know. Thanks

And the thing is i have dry eyes and pigmentation problems.Does that makes the causes of blurry vision. I also have the same problem. But I have blur vision in my left eye instead of dark spots . And like you said after some time it becomes a massive headache . And I must vomit 2 times to make the headache go completely. After that everything is normal . I don't have it now . I had it when I was 4th grade. And it lasted till 6th grade . It just went away ... I don't know how... I thought it was migraine .... Hopefully it won't come back ...

Now how's your ur condition
My eye doctor told me I have narrowing of the drainage? It seemed like my eye was doing a little better the sight was coming bak a little more but I had another episode it started hurting n at the same time got worse with blurry. Now it’s completely cloudy I can only see light. It also caused headache.

Hi mam. I had very little blured vision with was usually negligible in 8th 9th, I noticed it first in 6th class but thought it was fine, now in 11th class it has grown big , but it's only in one eye and the second eye is still 6/6.

From my right eye I can see everything foggy and recent I checked this from a doc they suggested me a specs only no other treatment and the number is around -3.5 for my right eye , is there any other treatment or way ? Or I have to wear glasses everytime:(

There is a friend of mine he has a problem with his left eye and sometimes he had a headache and he doesn’t see nothing with the left eye 👁️ but if you see him both his eye are looking healthy unless he said my left eye doesn’t see you can not recognize it. What is the problem??

When I visited doctor , doctor told me to give drops in eyes he gave me two drops and 1 medicine like jelly chocolate and also it was tasty 😅😅 and I also don't know why it occurred to me because doctor told me two reasons it can occured from sunlight or the light coming from the phone/laptop otherwise it can be genetics problem because my mother also have glasses from childhood so it can also occured me but I don't know the exact reason 😓

Mam I have problems with my left eye vision .It goes for like 3to 4mins and I get the vision back again after that In that period of time I could not see anything from my left eye.. please help me I went to the doctor he said my eye is fine 🙂 but happend to me now almost 3times😔

I normally change two different eye sight normal eye sight and then blurry foggy eye sight were I see everything blurry but I’m not blind at all

I need help my eyes are dry when I use eye drops it burns when I look at light my eyes hurt and they get blurry and foggy and sometimes I be having headaches .. My eyes are different I can see from far back in my right eye and I can see up close In my left eye I went to the eye doctor but they just prescribed me with glasses so I can see from far back but i dont wear them cause they not helping I'm still having eye problems
Was you is seeing a doctor bout it?
