@@TLDR_filmmaker you are welcome. I really like your reviews, and have been subscribed for a while not. As for the synco G2. I have just picked one up in sale for 150 euros, which is really a bargain imo. For that price, I do not mind the lack of internal recording. The range for my videos and talks, is fine too. Never had the camera more than 5-6m from the people, so not a deal for me. I was just curious how the sound quality stacks up with the big bois. Hi! as always great review! Thak you very much! Have you tried the included Comica lavaliers with the Rode Wireless Go II? Those should be shielded against 2,4ghz interference so they shouldn't get interference isn't?? have you tried that? Thank you!
Hey hey Matías! Thank you so much for checking out this video and asking a question! I have not personally tried is mainly because the Comica has a plastic locking latch on the headphones that I would have to break off to allow it to work on the RODE Wireless GO II. That being said it doesn't make too much sense to use a comica kit lav with the rode wireless go, assuming you have both sets. I've done a lavalier mic shoot out for each system and the Sony Lav is easily the best for each system at a nice budget price. ua-cam.com/video/jO49-HcwmQg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/o3V31zUNPUs/v-deo.html Thanks again for stopping by! Hey hey Selena! Thank you so much for checking out this video and asking a question! Like I say in the video, essentially, the RODE has more battery life as well as much more features and future features due to its ability to have firmware updates. The Comica has a lot of the essentials you need like Mono, Stereo, and Safety tracks. Easier download of internal recordings. What you don't really get with the comica is more battery life and future upgrades to the firmware. Sound quality is more refined in the RODE to my ears, but the comica does perform well for beginners that just want something that sounds decent to start. Hope this helps! Thanks again for stopping by! Stay safe, healthy, and I’ll see you in the next one!
Hey hey again Rafael! Comica doesn't sell one, but this one company I magically found makes one! geni.us/Nk0qotn (affiliate link) It's a bit long, but if you're just using it at home for your charging station, you're golden!
@@TLDR_filmmaker I think I might have to wait til you crown the dji the true winner then 1.5 years later rode go iii comes out and takes all our money again
If you are on a budget, the Comica is still a nice option. My current recommendation is the RODE Wireless Pro: ua-cam.com/video/aVS2X5P6hW8/v-deo.html It is more expensive, but all the accessories, especially the lav mics are very high quality. I have used it on a couple small corporate shoots and it performed very well as intended.

can I film or record video with rode wireless go ll from the front camera of Samsung s21 ultra without any issues. and record from 2 transmitters to get stereo sound?
Hey hey again إيهاب شوقي ! As long as you buy the android cable for the RODE GO II, it will work as an external mic when you are in the video app on your samsung. My guess is that you won't get stereo sound as most of the mic protocols in phones and tablets are dual mono.
Hello Sir, Thanks for the helpful info. Do you know whether you could charge the receiver (and the transmitters) while it is in use. It would be helpful for longer use for not to loose power. Do you mind give it a try in your system and let us know if that works? Does anyone else here could give info on that aspect? Thank you in advance.
Hey hey again Ed! If your Fuji XT3 is not able to handle the regular black cord while the output is at its lowest setting, then what you're looking for is a 3.5mm attenuator cable. However most of the 3.5mm attenuator cables are "line to mic" cables that lower the output way too much. So in this case you may need to look into a passive preamp for your camera. Something like this: geni.us/aASbL (affiliate link) Hope this helps!
Hopefully when I decide to buy a wireless system I can find one with user replaceable batteries. I am trying to not buy any gear with built in batteries. It doesn't make sense to me for the life of your gear to be determined by its battery. Cheers, really good show!
Hey hey again The TexPat in Saigon! I agree, it would be nice to have replaceable batteries in these systems. I had said once I wish they would built these cheaper systems around the AAA battery. A battery thats decently small, easy to get at a store, can buy rechargeable. I don't know why this is not a design choice yet, but I can see it become the future once a company goes for it. Chips are getting smaller and more efficient, so a AAA should be able to handle the load.
@@TLDR_filmmaker Yes, I think so too. If they want to produce products that serious amateurs and pros will use, the replaceable batteries are a must have. Keep up the good work!

Hey hey Gabor!
Thank you so much for checking out this video and asking a question!
I have emailed DJI today to request a review unit, we'll see if I get an answer so I can make a review for you all! I'm sure they don't know my channel exists, maybe you guys can hit them up on social media's and let them know you want to see me review and compare it? Whatever helps so I can test it for you guys! As for the Synco G2, my friend @nates film tutorials reviewed them and they do sound quite good for the price, it's missing the internal recording of course but hopefully Synco will do an update soon to the G2 line to include it with a nice price tag too boot.

I have recently made a video with it and I was impressed by it using the lav mic. Not bad for 150 euros ( normal price is 210 here)
You are an AWESOME TEACHER.
Thank you! 😃
hello pls help my Comic Boom XD pro internal recording is no longer recording after i formatted the files in it. what do i do

Hi! as always great review!
I've done a lavalier mic shoot out for each system and the Sony Lav is easily the best for each system at a nice budget price.

i dont have the cable for Fuji
Thank you for sharing, let me know the difference between the two.

Comica should just sell that 3 headed USB C cable id buy it in a heartbeat
Hey hey again Rafael!
Comica doesn't sell one, but this one company I magically found makes one! geni.us/Nk0qotn (affiliate link)
It's a bit long, but if you're just using it at home for your charging station, you're golden!
@@TLDR_filmmaker I think I might have to wait til you crown the dji the true winner then 1.5 years later rode go iii comes out and takes all our money again
when i record internally the audio is so low, how to increase it?
Do you still recommend this mic in 2024? if not, any alternatives? Thanks.
If you are on a budget, the Comica is still a nice option. My current recommendation is the RODE Wireless Pro: ua-cam.com/video/aVS2X5P6hW8/v-deo.html
It is more expensive, but all the accessories, especially the lav mics are very high quality. I have used it on a couple small corporate shoots and it performed very well as intended.
Hi what do I do if I don't use that cable you said not to use for Sony? Where do I get the alternative?
The package should have came with a regular TRS to TRS cable (not the smartphone one) that you would use instead.
Watching the review on the train to Paris, the Rode sounds better with my headset, maybe influenced by the fact that I own the Rode 😂 great video as always 👍
Hey hey again Daniel!
Haha the RODE does sound overall better, they have some really decent capsules in there. Have a safe ride!
Great review
Glad you found it helpful!

can I film or record video with rode wireless go ll from the front camera of Samsung s21 ultra without any issues. and record from 2 transmitters to get stereo sound?
Hey hey dilhanf!
Yes you can use these plugged into USB power so that they can be used indefinitely.
Hi, may I know which cable should I get to replace the orange cable? Or what should I look out for? I'm using fuji xt3.
Something like this: geni.us/aASbL (affiliate link)
Hope this helps!
@@TLDR_filmmaker Brother, Really Detailed Video. God Bless Your Soul! Thanks a Million this video does Clear a lot of my doubts if on field work or in line of duty what to expect. So the Mics can't Block Siren or Airplane Sounds?
My other Question/Doubt is Can These Mics (and probably receiver as well) be Charged during usage recording longer durations by a couple of or 3 separate battery banks on each person basically to each component in the Kit for extending the battery backup or runtime? Hello! How i can change level of internal recording? Can i make it louder?
Hey hey Женя И !
Thank you so much for checking out this video and asking a question!
You will raise the internal recording volume in Post. You cannot raise it in the device itself as it is settings its own levels automatically to ensure you don't clip and stay in range.

Why not try synco p2l? That one works great for mobiles i just discovered it
Hey hey Starshine!
Thank you so much for checking out this video and asking a question!
Unless a company reaches out to send me a test unit, I don't have the means of reviewing all available options out on the market. I have reviewed synco mics before in the past, but haven't tried their wireless sets. From what I have heard from my friends who have reviewed them, they do a decent job in sound. At this moment I don't believe Snyco has a mic that has internal transmitter recording, this is going to be an important feature moving on in the industry.

Hey hey again Gerald!
Thanks! And absolutely, every penny counts when you're a beginner!
Hi, I have a macbook air with only thunderbolt and 3.5mm slot. Is there any reason why I can't choose the device (Comica boomXD) in sound "input" ? It doesn't seem to work on my computer in zoom. Can anyone help please ? Thanks!
Hey hey Smiley!
Thank you so much for checking out this video and commenting!
You need to make sure you are using the cellphone cable that came with the pack (The one with the three color rings on the jack) Plug the three color rings jack into the macbook. The name "comica Boom XD" won't show up, instead you should see an option like "External mic" pop up.

Haha no they can't. You're probably the 5th person in 4 years that has actually caught that. The "comes" rolls off my tongue way easier than to just say "come" so i've left it in as a fun easter egg to see how many people catch it!

You should do a Squid Games of Lav mics LOL
Each "game" is a category test. Last lav standing gets the audience piggy bank.

Haha, I haven't watched Squid Games just yet, but familiar enough with the premise.
those big bulky thinks really make me like the pico that much more

Does the Comica and Rode transmitter have input level control? Or can it be changed only on the receiver?
Hey hey User!

Only the receiver has output control. The Transmitters use an algorithm to keep your voice from clipping.

@@TLDR_filmmaker Thank you! I have looked at many reviews. As far as I understand, only DJI mic has such an opportunity?
I'm not sure if the DJI mic has that feature. Very few budget wireless lav systems have the ability for the transmitter to adjust its levels.
