Fantastic. i really dig this John Suhr Andy Wood. JOhn is such an incredible manufacturer, and well, nothing at all about these rascals. great fun. The Gristle is The Man that is completely out of any question, no matter Andy is quite good but Greg is just from a completely different planet.
Absolutely love Greg's solo going out at the end. Reminds me of a Larry carlton solos with Steely Dan! That my friend is one helluva compliment! Forgive me for saying so myself. (I'm having a conversation with me watching this) Both guitarist smoke! Andy is awesome no doubt! Nice axes!!!!
How did you get 24 frets without moving the neck PU? On my tele the 2nd octave is more or less in the middle of the neck PU. Unless you used a 24.75" scale ....
'A little jam for the kids...' Damn...Whew. A mandolin prodigy turns to electric guitar? Holy crap, got picking skills? And man those are nice guitars too, love the 24 frets on these axes. Wildwood Wins Again~!
I actually got to play a Suhr classic T recently and it was almost too good. When you’re used to playing lesser instruments you have to totally change the way you play when you pick up a Suhr.
It still sweeps me , how comfortably great Greg is...that he even makes a guy like Andy a bit scared and so, his playing gets a bit repetitive when they're jammin' here. Sigh
I love Greg Koch, but Woods has just moved into the category of "you should be in prison because you are just TOO GOOD"....BTW, all though this is an old vid, those are fantastic fiddles. I have two Suhr's, both classic S's. One is SSS, the other (fairly new) is SSH. I'll be looking into Wildwood the next time I get one.
They need a morning show called, “Waking up with Wood Koch”!
Haha a great one!
Well I'm Brad Koch(pronounced Cook)so sign me up😅 Haha
Two of my favorite people! 🙏❤️
Two of the best around....
Couple of virtuosos👍
It would be so cool if you two did an album together. Them jams were bloody lovely!

Which version do you have? I'd love to get the humbucker version!

Holy.....
I hold the opinion Andy is the greatest flatpicker alive!!

These Andy Wood guitars cost between $3,000 and $5,000. That's outrageous for most players.
If this video does not make you smile your not human
bravisimo
Gregory Kochery and Commander Andy? Shit Yeah.
It still sweeps me , how comfortably great Greg is...that he even makes a guy like Andy a bit scared and so, his playing gets a bit repetitive when they're jammin' here. Sigh
