- Reaction Starts On/Around - 1:48 if you want to skip my long intro!
Hey guys, welcome back to another thrilling reaction video! Today, we're diving back into the world of Lovebites. Specifically, we're reacting to their song "Judgment Day," and I want to mention that today we're checking out the music video reaction but stay tuned because we'll definitely be doing a live performance reaction later!
Now, I'm aware that I've been blocking a portion of the video, and I've seen your requests to make my screen smaller. I want to clarify that I do this for copyright reasons, but I hear you, and I will definitely make adjustments in the future to provide a better viewing experience.
As always, this is a reaction video, so you can expect pauses, rewinds, and reactions throughout. Please make sure to show your support for the band and the original video; I've included the links down below. And, if you're new here, consider hitting that subscribe button to help me reach my first significant milestone of 1k subscribers!
Once again, thank you, everyone, for the incredible love and support. Have an awesome day, guys and gals!

Wolfpack here visiting your channel.
They go so hard, Asami at the end with the high note!! 🤘
They toured with Dragonforce in 2019 in the UK as a support band. My suggestion is "Set the world on fire", you can find it on their official channel.🐺🤘LOVEBITES🤘🐺
Enjoy the ride dude.. Watch anything they do, it's all good, you won't find a bad one..
They just recently announced their first appearance in the US, September 2024 at an international progmetal festival in Atlanta. Praying they build a tour around that and make their way to Nashville and Louder than Life at the end of September.
LOVEBITES - Judgement Day lyrics:
Never lived Never died Never end No way to go
Every night Everywhere Everything Arriving of darkness
What is “right” What is “wrong” What is “sin” Who’s to decide?
Hide and seek Truth or dare Playing tag Chased by the evil
Another back and forth of gaining and losing
Running out of my time
Each tick of the clock’s taking down piece of my life again
Who’s ally Who’s against Who’s to pick All in your hand
Up and down, in and out, left or right, answers turn around
What do you see in this world full of insanity?
When the rain come to end, what’s waiting us Don’t look away
This is the truth
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
Life - Given the “foreverness”
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
Life - Leaving name in history
Tragedy in the past find salvation
Now with the great will, the path lay in front of me
Starting here, this is the day!
SOLO: midori / miyako /midori /miyako / both
Never lived Never died Never end No way to go
Every night Everywhere Everything Arriving of darkness
What do you see in this world full of insanity?
When do we come to ask what's awaiting us, don't look away!
This is the truth!
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
Life - Given the “foreverness”
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
Life - Leaving name in history
Tragedy in the past, find salvation
Now with the great will, the path lay in front of me
Starting here, this is the day!
Judgement day!
Judgement day!
Judgement day!
JUDGEMENT DAY!

Dragonforce wishes they could play this fast (and well). Miyako and Midori are elite.. Check out the live version. Have fun checking more, they are awesome.
you will hear this alot react to When destinies align, mv guitar solos will blow your mind, great reaction wolfpack for life
If you wanna see their genius at wor klive, check out with Swan Song / with Chopin intro by guitarist Miyako. A MUST SEE performance !
What's crazy is that you can see how insanely talented these ladies are, this almost doesn't show Fami's level, despite the bass popping out of the mix. She never even played metal before joining Lovebites, but she does slap bass covers of J-pop/virtual idol songs on her UA-cam channel that are pretty jaw-dropping. Most famously is the cover of "Alien, Alien"
The singer is wearing blue contact lenses. Yes, check out the official live version of Judgement Day from the " Knockin' at Heaven's Gate" concert..The synth strings are not so prominent in the mix and you can really hear Fami's bass work much more clearly than in this studio recording.
Thanks for reacting to amazing Lovebites and spreading the word; they deserve more recognition. On many occasions first time reactors usually are left speechless, stunned and blown away (I know this is your 2nd time). These women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. They really shine in their live performances. Their main influences are Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Helloween, Angra, Judas Priest, Dragonforce, and even Gary Moore, but they have been developing their unique style. Some people say that they’re redefining metal. Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined Lovebites. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. Some of their songs are uplifting, with a motivational message.
Unfortunately Miho (bass) left the band in August, 2021, but last year the band announced the new bass player, Fami; so now they’re ready to set the world on fire. In an interview, Miho (ex bassist) said that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. My next suggestions are “Thunder vengeance”, “Break the wall”, “Set the world on fire”, “Above the Black Sea”, “Under the red sky”, “Scream for me”, “Shadowmaker”, “When destinies align”, “Raise some hell”, “Don’t bite the dust”, “Winds of Transylvania”; and for a different side of them: "Chopin Etude + Swan song”, “Empty daydream”, “Edge of the world”, “Epilogue”, “Glory to the world”, “Frozen serenade”, "Liar", "Spellbound". All live (please avoid Bloodstock because audio is not good, not their fault). BTW, their presentation at Wacken Open Air, Germany, 2018, was so successful. They toured Asia and Europe in 2018 and 2019. They toured the UK in 2019, supporting Dragonforce (they're good friends, by the way)
Lineup:
Haruna - Drums
Miho - Ex Bass, backing vocals (left the band in August 2021)
Fami - New bassist (since October 2022)
Midori - Lead & rhythm guitar, backing vocals
Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar, keyboards, classical piano, backing vocals
Asami - Lead vocals, some piano
It's a cliche but I'll say it anyways, live is better with most of their songs. An exception (imo), is Shadowmaker MV which is from 2017, a year after they formed. From their debut album and mind-blowing that they were so tight, in such a short time. Although the '21 live version floating around YT is incredible / flawless it's quite a few years later so of course they're going to nail it. Great reaction again, and Judgement Day live is just sick. 🤘
M&M, the guitarists Midori and Miyako, play together and complement each other, they don't really play against each other! If you carefully watch, you'll see, that when one of them makes a solo, the other one supports it. Often, they also harmonize...
Yeah, Lovebites is the best. Global wolfpack is loyal.
You have seen. And you have heard. And now you know. 🤘🏼🐺🤘🏼
Are you ready、USA‼️
These ladies will "ROCK" to your country、2024 !
There is a lot more where this came from. Lovebites signature is insane duel guitar solos and harmonization. "Nameless Warrior" the live version is probably their song that is most similar to DragonForce.
Ok.. (Great reaction BTW!)..
How many here when he was talking about the vocals thought “Wait for it…” 😂😂
🤟🏻🤟🏻
me……😂
JD is one of their top 10 songs & you can do whatever you like on your own channel.
I listened to them accidently 6 months ago. I had the same slap in my face when I lisetened to Iron Maiden for the first time 30 years ago. Now Iron Maiden can retire, I'm sure they will take the same place in my heart.
Asami wears blue contacts. It's great that they put the guitars left and right channels.
Listen to "Break The Wall" to add more spectrum of what the Lovebites made for.

Asami is one of the best female belters in rock/metal with about a 3 octave range. However, her style is definitely not "operatic". Hitting a high note does not equate to operatic - it is the method of hitting that high note that matters. Female opera singers use their head voice with a very open mouth to project their voices, without the assistance of a microphone, to audiences in a large hall. Asami is a chest voice belter and would be more properly called "theatric". Although I am not a singer, my wife and my son have been involved in musical theatre for many years (my son is currently halfway to his degree in Musical Theatre at a music conservatory). Asami is perfect for the stage not only because of her voice but the way she acts the song - to see an example of acting the song watch her live performance of Edge of the World. Asami is very much a mezzo soprano but because of her 3 octave range so can go both lower and higher than the typical mezzo. Before Lovebites her background was in R&B and Soul which are great genres for a powerful mezzo. Asami's range is very much like the range of the late, great R&B/Soul singer Dusty Springfield. Mentioning Dusty Springfield shows my age but if you don't know who she is go listen to the album Dusty in Memphis.
Well put !

From 'Metal Queens' to 'Best (Metal) Band in the Woeld' my friend....
You should react to LOVEBITES both MV and LIVE, and compare the sounds of MV and LIVE..... 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I'm pretty sure, that Asami wears colored contact lenses in this... nothing unusual.
Yes, it's a fashion thing. All good.
Lovebites and Band-Maid are the only Japanese bands that have impressed me. And man are they impressive.
The band's founder and leader, Miho (bass), left the band and was inactive for two years. They then held auditions for a bassist. And out of hundreds of applicants, they chose a then 20-year-old college student with 650,000 subscribers on UA-cam. Some fans expressed concern that she had no band experience and that she had never played metal on her own channel.
They titled the album "Judgment Day" to let fans judge the new LOVEBITES on the album they were making.
Pausing during a guitar solo is unforgivable.
So does lovebites get any payment for using their videos?
?
Another reactor said recently, that the videos on their channel are set up for shared monetizing. I don't know, if it's true, but it makes some sense!
I'm not entirely sure how that works. I'm not fully monetized yet, but I've been curious about how reactions are handled. I take pride in ensuring that I don't infringe on any copyright content, so I'm hesitant about monetizing my reactions because I want the original creators to receive the revenue they deserve.
Short answer - yes. For putting up a Lovebites video, you'll either get a copy strike from YT or you can keep the video up by letting the copyright holder (in this case Lovebites) attain all the ad revenue. Having said that, Lovebites have been pretty good (especially with the newer videos on their channel) to allow reactors to upload their videos for reactions.
That's what I thought, and that's why I'm okay with doing whatever is necessary to ensure the original copyright holders get the revenue they deserve, and I'll continue to do my best to follow UA-cam guidelines as I react to artists and videos. @@boyzyu
If you stop the guitar solo in the middle, the composition such as their battle and harmony will be ruined. Are you an amateur in metal?
this style of metal yes, I am my bad.
