Some additional talents are on display here - whilst Miyako is the classically trained piano virtuoso (as well as guitar of course), all of the girls can play piano, which is a tribute to Japanese musical education from an early age. Many people seem to be afraid to call them the greatest band ever due to commercial success. Look, do I think Taylor Swift is the greatest ever? Not even close, yet her concert your success would make you think otherwise. Metallica is the only metal band to have blown the doors off of commercial success, and their music is at the top of the heap of metal. Yet, I simply believe that Lovebites is better, having more complex compositions, the best dual lead guitarists I've ever heard, a technical wizard on bass, an absolute machine behind the drum kit, and a vocalist who at times defies logic being a lead vocalist in a metal band yet making it work to perfection. You nailed it. They are not prisoners of genre, they can do almost anything (so far, the only metal trope they haven't touched is screaming/growling). And they are obviously perfectionists.
One thing that everyone also has to realize about this performance of Hammer of Wrath. Not only is this the first live show with Fami in the band, but this is also Fami's first show with an audience of this size, and most importantly, THIS IS THE OPENING SONG OF THE SET. So this is the major litmus test for her and if it all goes well, it's all downhill from here.. but as you can see with the loving smile of approval and thumbs up from her during the bass section, it all went well. Plus you got to see Miyako being a little bit more interactive on stage, which they all knew that this part would be big for Fami. It shows that she was the right choice.
