Asami says ":We are back" because this was their first live performance after a nearly two year long hiatus after Miho left, Miyako and Asami had babies and they auditioned for a new bassist.

There are so many stupid opinions. I guess it was based on some kind of idea of human behavior and them competing for being in the spotlight or something other nonsens. But, if you are kind persons that like that everyone in the band shall have their share of fame, then it does not matter. Then it only strengthen your own fame by the band being stellar. For one of the best guitar players playing with one of the best guitar players is just fun and doubles the fame. M&M is even concept. They are best friends and shred together. What could be cooler.

With the exception of the short introductory instrumental that came before this, this was literally the first song they'd played live with Fami, and Fami's first song played live with a proper band. You can see why they were all smiles and why Fami was having so much fun!
I'll nominate Today is the Day, one of Lovebites lesser known gems. Hopefully a few fellow Wolfpackers will add their votes. Some additional talents are on display here - whilst Miyako is the classically trained piano virtuoso (as well as guitar of course), all of the girls can play piano, which is a tribute to Japanese musical education from an early age. Guess who hits the keys on this one? And Haruna is having way too much fun on the kit!

Who would have thought that the highlight of this badass performance is Asami catching Fami’s smiling face and beaming so much herself, giving her the thumbs up?
You nailed it. They are not prisoners of genre, they can do almost anything (so far, the only metal trope they haven't touched is screaming/growling). And they are obviously perfectionists.
Another video is about to drop today of the same concert!! When you talked of not pausing regarding guitar solos, you did exactly that on Fami's solo 😂

One thing that everyone also has to realize about this performance of Hammer of Wrath. Not only is this the first live show with Fami in the band, but this is also Fami's first show with an audience of this size, and most importantly, THIS IS THE OPENING SONG OF THE SET. So this is the major litmus test for her and if it all goes well, it's all downhill from here.. but as you can see with the loving smile of approval and thumbs up from her during the bass section, it all went well. Plus you got to see Miyako being a little bit more interactive on stage, which they all knew that this part would be big for Fami. It shows that she was the right choice.

Many people seem to be afraid to call them the greatest band ever due to commercial success. Look, do I think Taylor Swift is the greatest ever? Not even close, yet her concert your success would make you think otherwise. Metallica is the only metal band to have blown the doors off of commercial success, and their music is at the top of the heap of metal. Yet, I simply believe that Lovebites is better, having more complex compositions, the best dual lead guitarists I've ever heard, a technical wizard on bass, an absolute machine behind the drum kit, and a vocalist who at times defies logic being a lead vocalist in a metal band yet making it work to perfection. Nice reaction.
They released the live version of Judgement Day today. It's amazing.

Most people that start out listening to Lovebites don't realize Asami is singing in English. Her Japanese accent is very inhibiting. She has definitely gotten better over the years though. Great reaction sir. Cheers!!
