Desirable car the CSL, but I think dynamically it's been overshadowed by the M3 CS, which is more practical as well. Great job getting in the clip before your flight, Joe.
You are spot on. That’s why I decided to go with the M3 CS. The M4 CSL is not practical and it’s really challenging

Shame only Germany allows you to have fun with these cars on their public roads.. I live in the Netherlands and visit Germany plenty of times to let loose my tuned 400+HP BMW Z4.. Doing 200+ without any problems and then get to the border and have to do max 100 km/h again because going faster is "to dangeorus" and "bad for the environment".. Yeah, whatever..

Amazing. The noise brings me back to when I got the new BMW M4 in 2014 when it first came out. I’ve never loved a car so much but had to swap when we had a child. My wife and I have driven Tesla’s ever since but I could cry when I see and hear this car. Just wonderful.

Saw the new M2, in black, with al the M Performance bits stuck on at BMW Stockport today, looked crazy. An assault on the eyes in a good way. Big though, for an M2.

If I had £125-130k to spend on a car. Sorry it would not be this. It’s not that special. The ten for sale on AT confirms my thoughts. Especially when delivery Mile flipper cars have been sat for nearly a year. Friend of mine just underwrote one and it was a fair chunk below £100k. It speaks volumes.
Could not have said it better myself. It is just not justifying the price.
How long did it take to sell V10 Lexus? BEV will make this precious, Z8s didn't appreciate when new, either.

I own BMW and love BMWs but for this money you'd be mad not to buy a 911/R8/Vantage etc etc etc
911 would certainly be a good alternative, the Vantage is a long way behind in my opinion.

The M4 CSL is lovely but overpriced by BMW. I'd rather take a G87, unlock the ECU, downpipe, exhaust, E85 and I'd still be under the price of the CSL.
An amazing car but it looks sooo long, it's only 100mm shorter than than E63 6 series. M3 has better proprtion with the saloonshape....
& M2 is shorter, they share platforms & drivetrains, so what do you expect?
not sure what you're asking me, I'm expressing a subjective opinion on how I think it looks, I prefer the proportion of the 4 door M3, I know it's the same platform that's why I'm comparing the 2 cars... This only 2 places this belong is private car collection storage and cars and coffee parking lot.
Both are huge waste of all the engineering that gone into this car......
I have to be honest here I just looked at the 2024 Mercedes AMG,GT coupe at that thing is absolutely dropdead sexy. This thing looks like a toy compared to the Mercedes AMGGT 63 coupe. Hopefully, Bmw will designer next generation to look more grown-up.
Different approaches. AMG still wants to go with the classic looks, while bmw is going for the full aggressive look

I had a C6 Z06 for 13 years and now have an M4 CSL. I have never thought to compare them, so different. My Z06 was heavily modified in every way but would not see which way the CSL had gone on a track. Great car though.
Well it has 100hp more 😅
