The fact that there are posters with Koraidon and Miraidon on them implies that everyone in this world knows about them, even though they are not even from this timeline.

@@bessieburnet9816 while we only had Third Versions up until Platinum, I think we can assume these versions are the canon ones so both Box Legendaries are technicaly within the canon.

They exist as fictional creatures in the books at the very least. I imagine someone liked how they looked.

As someone who celebrates the CNY, this is so relatable. I like how they poke-fied to traditional Lion and dragon dances, even down to the "lolipop" in the animation

1:20 I just noticed the girl passes in front of a pair of seats with a Pikachu and Mimikyu and I love the way pikachu looks at Mimikyu like "what the heck am I looking at?"
Also at the Festival is looks like the performers are making a Rayquaza chasing a Minior and thats adorably terrifying.

I love how the short integrates Pokemon into real-world situations. I'm a huge fan of scenarios like this and I'm glad there's been an increase since the Detective Pikachu movie in 2019. Pokemon Concierge was another great take on this. It would be really cool if Pokemon started a proper side-anime that was more slice of life than the current gym challenge/quest format. I wonder if anybody remembers the Magical Pokemon Journey manga, probably the first spinoff that attempted something like this.

Tbh if my parents tried to put the "I have all this buff pokemon be afraid" tactic, I would simply battle them myself😂 Not even a Landorus will get between me and my pookie

Considering those Pokemon were most likely like.big brothers to her growing up and they are definitely the ones who are more willing to be accepting of the boyfriend makes it cuter.
Not to mention that the kid with the Lucario at the beginning and girls like Bea or Sabrina showing humans can straight up fight Pokemon with enough training or innate powers means you could very much have a good shot at fighting both and winning.

I freaking LOVE IT! As a Chinese, this animation gave such a nice home-y vibe I associate in Chinese New Year, and I squeaked in joy when I saw Entei (Lion) Dance and Rayquaza (Dragon) dance with Minior as the dragon pearl, and I would love to have more of these. I immediately recognised this animation company who did All Staint Street and The Legend of Hei, and I was having a blast seeing how smooth and warm the animation works. It's so Chinese, yet it still looks nice with Pokemon aesthetics in it.

i love more random pokemon animation shorts to highlight how much connected we all are and how much the world grows as a whole. Between this and the Slugma house video are my absolute favorites.
It just truly brings out my inner childhood on wanting to have pokemon as both a pet, a friend, and part of my family.

What I love about this animated shorts is that they offer so much creative world-building, adding depth to the games. Seeing how humans and Pokémon coexist when not training or battling is always a delight, since Trainers are only a small fraction of the Pokémon world’s massive population.

This and the Yokohama Worlds are my favorite animated shorts from pokemon. Also this was animated by the same studio who made The Legend of Hei! It's an adorable movie about a cat spirit who befriends a human. I highly recommend this movie

It was a beautiful animation! I just WISH they'd give us a game where we could slice of life with our mons as well. Instead of funneling us into becoming the champion every time it'd be nice to experience the rest that life with Pokémon has to offer.

Because there’s the farm sim slice of life aspect but there’s also still the dungeon aspect

    • @StarzyKK
      @StarzyKK 7 місяців тому +10

@@Dusxio That's the beauty of this idea. It can be anything else! I'm thinking it's a more open game where you choose a path that interests you. Want to research pokemon like in legends? Become a researcher! Want to explore nature and discover new locations and secrets? Become an explorer! Heck, it'd be cool if you want to pull an Arven and become the one of the best chefs in the region by forarging rare and tasty ingredients in the wilds.
Pokemon as a series is extremely held back in it's true potential. Every time I see one of these slice of life animations I get so frustrated bc I know the only games they'll ever make are the ones we've played before. Beat gym leaders, become champions, battle battle battle. But what if we could be something ELSE? Do something ELSE?

Oi oi, i have no idea how long it would have taken for me to find out about this if you wouldn't have talked about it now. I actually prefer 2d animation over 3d any time and thus i'm often feel unsure what to think of the cg styles that wants to imitate 2d (which is why i was caught off guard and found the Poketoo nabout this rocker jigglypuff a bit weird)
But i won't ignore and deny it when it looks really good. And this is such a soft, friendly and simple style, i utterly adore style like these personally, and as far as i saw the character designs now, they are also very charming - so it's a win!
Kinda sad that it had no promotion though ngl. I mean of course you can't "translate a silent film", but if i udnerstood you correctly not even the english pkm accounts promoted it? It still deserves the spotlight no matter how small the spin off project is, if it's obvious there is love and passion behind it like in this one.
Thanks for telling us about it and doing the Pokemon Company's job!
